al health rehabilitation units for young people aged 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health-related hospital admission. The aim is to support young people to gain and develop the necessary skills for independent living and to manage transitions from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult Mental Health Services.

Together, these services support up to 12 young people at any one time, offering a welcoming, supportive environment on a spot-purchase basis.

The successful candidate will deputise for the Service Manager when required. This includes direct line management, leadership, coaching, and supporting Specialist Support Workers, Support Workers, and Waking Night Support Workers. Responsibilities also involve ensuring compliance with current legislation, contractual requirements, financial regulations, and Look Ahead's Policies and Procedures.

The role of Deputy Manager will involve five 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

What you'll do:

Support the Service Manager in driving operational activities within your service area, ensuring clear, relevant, and challenging objectives and ongoing performance tracking.
Successfully lead and motivate your team, championing and maintaining a positive local culture within the service.
Build supportive, trusting relationships with young people and create a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
Prioritise the prompt filling of voids and the reduction of arrears and bad debts.
Continuously work to improve staff competence, ensuring proactive ownership of staffing matters, swift resolution of conflicts, and effective management of issues.
Facilitate transparent and effective communication flows between management and frontline teams.
Lead on casework management, ensuring that risk assessments and support plans are regularly updated and dynamic.
Promote partnership working to maximise opportunities and positive outcomes for customers.
Monitor and maintain creative and ambitious plans for customer involvement.
Support the Service Manager to prepare for quality visits, using Look Ahead's local indicators to monitor performance, set targets, and implement action plans to maintain high-quality services aligned with local and national standards, and funder requirements.
Assist the Service Manager in producing and submitting monthly management reports to the Performance team, ensuring data on local KPIs is accurate and current.
Develop and maintain strong internal management relationships with other departments and functions within Look Ahead, ensuring best practice sharing and supporting initiatives for organisational improvement.

Purpose of the role

ZSL is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Corporate Partnerships to lead the growth of high-impact corporate fundraising aligned with our mission to restore wildlife and create a world where nature thrives. In this senior leadership role, you will spearhead the development and implementation of ZSL’s Corporate Partnerships strategy, with a strong focus on income growth, innovation, and long-term value. About You

• Proven experience of strategic corporate partnerships new business, including identifying, engaging, developing and managing strategic corporate partnerships with a track record of delivering income of seven figure and six figure partnerships.
• Previous experience in leading and developing teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching and supporting less experienced staff.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across a complex organisation, engaging with multiple stakeholders who have income generating responsibilities.
• Experience in monitoring and reporting on income and expenditure, ensuring alignment with budgetary plans.

Senior Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager

12 month fixed term contract to cover maternity

Purpose of Role

As Senior Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager you will take a key role in the planning and delivery of Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns, developing project management best practices, managing project managers, and ensure the overarching planning, management and coordination of projects. The majority of projects will be related to fundraising activity but on occasion could also include other projects for our funding team, partnerships team and production team. The role will work with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure planning processes, project governance and reporting is developed and embedded into all fundraising activity, primarily as it relates to Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns. 

Key responsibilities:

· Work with the Head of Campaign Strategy and Planning to track a portfolio of projects, taking on the project management responsibility for select projects, primarily Comic Relief’s fundraising campaigns (managing multiple projects at a time) 

· Develop project management best practice, evolving methods as needs arise. Ensure practices are followed across the project management team 

· Manage projects across a full project lifecycle, including project briefing, scoping, set up, governance, planning, task management, communication, coordination and tracking and reporting 

· Lead key strategic projects, including for large fundraising campaigns 

· Work with fundraising strategists to brief delivery team members and manage the delivery of fundraising activity that is executed by delivery team members spanning fundraising, PR, content production, finance, technology and data 

· Develop and embed activity tracking plans and documentation for stakeholders to enable you to efficiently manage and integrate their activity into wider programme, keeping senior stakeholders informed and engaged 

· Work with teams to ensure dependencies and risk are actively managed, acting as an arbiter and supporting the resolution of issues.  Identify and manage dependencies and risk of varying complexity across the full programme taking corrective action or highlighting issues for escalation as required 

· Use tracking and reporting tools and briefings/huddles that ensure that the progress of all project activity is communicated, changing the nature of these as projects develop 

· To work with key stakeholders across the organisation, particularly in the Project Management Office, to ensure consistency and alignment during the execution of the organisation’s projects 

· Represent project management best practice and identify and facilitate learning opportunities that create efficient and smart ways of working 

· Provide line management of a Fundraising Campaigns Project Manager, providing support, development and challenge, and ensuring cross-project learnings are shared and implemented effectively 

Person specification

Essential criteria

· Significant project management experience, and the ability to manage a range of diverse projects for different parts of the organisation 

· A deep understanding of project management methodologies and experience of working with different approaches to project management

· Experience of monitoring and evaluation of programme performance, including objective setting, developing toolkits, reporting and driving the learning process with stakeholders to achieve ongoing effectiveness 

· A sound understanding of project budget development and analysis 

· Ability to understand risks, issues and dependencies of a programme and synthesise this information to provide accurate and timely advice to drive decision making 

· Effective relationship builder with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different styles and ways of working 

· Effective communicator, with the ability to efficiently distil information, adapting it for different audiences as required

We are looking for a Head of Supporter Led Fundraising to join the senior fundraising leadership team at Scope.

This is a brand new role for Scope and will be responsible for developing and executing the vision and strategy for supporter-led fundraising, building and leading a new team to deliver income growth.

About you

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced fundraising leader, with experience of meeting and exceeding income targets.

You will:

· Proven track record with at least 5 years' experience in a relevant fundraising leadership role with demonstrable success in achieving targets.

· Experience in developing and leading teams in implementing fundraising strategies and growing income

· Extensive experience in leading teams and managing cross-departmental projects.

· Experience of developing and reporting against KPIs to senior leadership teams and trustees.

· Extensive income and expenditure budget management and reporting.

· Knowledge and understanding of the UK funding landscape and current fundraising compliance and best practice.

• At least three years’ experience of providing leaving care and/or housing support to single homeless or other vulnerable client groups, including young people.

This role is a comprehensive HR Business Partner position responsible for aligning HR strategy with the operational and strategic goals of Hestia. The postholder will work closely with designated client groups to support organisational change, including restructures, TUPE processes, and the implementation of new services. A key aspect of the role is coaching and supporting line managers to lead inclusively and in alignment with the organisation's values, as well as helping embed learning and development initiatives across teams. The role involves providing expert HR guidance on employee relations and employment law, particularly in complex or sensitive cases. Data analysis and reporting are essential, with the postholder tracking key HR metrics and contributing to both internal and external reports, such as those for the Charity Commission.

Here's what the team will be looking for

The ideal candidate for this role will bring substantial experience as an HR Business Partner, ideally gained in a fast-paced, change-driven environment. They will have led on key people-focused areas such as wellbeing, reward, and benefits, and possess a strong background in managing complex HR issues. With at least 5 to 7 years of experience in HR Business Partnering or as an HR Manager, they will be adept at supporting organisational change and driving strategic people initiatives.

They will be fully CIPD qualified, preferably to Level 7, and demonstrate a deep knowledge of employment law. Their experience will include leading TUPE transfers, managing restructures, and handling redundancy and consultation processes. Job Purpose

To provide strategic and  operational leadership for the Bexley Mental Health  Hub, which is an integrated service between Mind in Bexley,  Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and London Borough of Bexley Adult Social Care . The postholder will play a key role in supporting three partners to deliver an  integrated service, ensuring alignment, coordination, and high standards across both organisations. They will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and other senior leads to ensure service delivery is safe, effective, and responsive to community needs.

Who we are

Chefs in Schools is a young, ambitious charity that’s rapidly growing. Our mission is to improve kids' health, through improving school food & food education. Working in areas of high deprivation, we support and train schools and their kitchen teams to serve the best, freshest and tastiest food possible, alongside meaningful food education. We share our learning and resources freely, aiming to inspire and enable others to follow our lead.

We’re backed by some of the biggest names in food and have ambitious targets to ensure every child has access to incredible school food and food education, setting them up for life with the skills and knowledge to feed themselves well.

About you and the role

This is a pivotal role, at a pivotal moment for us. We are entering a critical growth phase, which includes rapidly expanding our own operations and managing significant external partnership. As Head of Finance & Systems, you will be accountable for ensuring we have the right systems and structures in place to grow at pace without detriment to good governance.

The purpose of this role is to lead on our finance strategy, and ensure all of our systems, reporting and processes are helping to drive forward the charity and deliver on our objectives at scale. You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Directors to ensure that financial planning is effective and supported by accurate data analysis. You will report directly to Trustees as required and ensure that the highest standards of transparency and probity are maintained. 

You will be joining the team during a period of growth in the size and complexity of our delivery. We currently have 24 employees and anticipate growing significantly in the next twelve months. You will have a crucial role in shaping our systems and processes to ensure we can scale effectively, both our existing programmes and a new membership-based programme that is in development. We’re looking for an experienced finance professional with an interest in effectively using technology and systems to drive efficiency, without compromising on accuracy or compliance. 

You will oversee all financial administration, ensuring this is carried out proficiently and in line with all legal and regulatory requirements, including ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all statutory filings are made accurately and on time. Your role will also encompass ensuring that we operate within legal & regulatory frameworks and stay up to date with changes in relevant legislation.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing a comprehensive financial strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities

• Developing our systems strategy, including reviewing suitability of our current systems (Quickbooks for accountancy, Beacon CRM, PLEO for expenses management, Survey Monkey for data collection etc. ) and ensuring optimal use of systems, maximising automation, and using AI where appropriate.

• Constantly seeking to develop and improve the organisation’s financial systems, policies and procedures to promote dynamic, best practice and up-to-date application of tools, systems and approaches

• Leading and developing the Finance and Office Manager and ensuring effective support from the external book-keeping team.

• Lead on creation of the annual budget, working closely with Directors.

• Advising the Chief Executive, team and Trustees, ensuring that benefits and risks of decisions are fully considered and fit with the overall financial strategy

• Oversee sound financial administration, management and governance across the organisation, ensuring robust financial controls in place and operating effectively.

• Provide leadership and guidance to all things finance related, providing mentoring and support to the team, and coaching on financial awareness. 

• Accountability for monitoring that the organisation’s services are, and will, run to budget, supporting budget holders and reporting promptly on risks 

• Have ultimate oversight of the external audit and production of the statutory accounts, supported in delivery of this by the Finance & Office Manager

• Oversee production of management accounts and bespoke financial reports, including accurate forecasting, incisive analysis and accessible narrative commentary, ensuring decision-makers have the information they need. 

• Forecasting cash flow and managing the treasury position.

• Support the Partnerships & Impact team and Programme Managers with financial inputs to funding proposals and ensure restricted funds are used in compliance with grant conditions.

• Oversight of finance, governance and basic HR administration, supporting the Finance and Office Manager with high profile or complex queries, seeking specialist advice on financial or compliance matters as required

• Ensuring GDPR compliance across the organisation

• Leading an effective risk management process.

• Ensuring the organisation’s compliance with charity law, in accordance with the Charity Commission in England & Wales and all financial reporting requirements.

Skills & experience:

• You have interest and belief in our mission, to improve kids’ health through improving food and food education in schools

• You have full or partial qualification through an accredited accountancy body 

• You have experience in a senior finance role (e.g., Director, Head of) in any sector, and some experience within a finance function in the 3rd sector (in particular familiarity with Charities SORP and experience of administering restricted funds).

• You have experience of audit

• You enjoy a mix of leadership and rolling up sleeves to get hands on 

• You take a pragmatic and dynamic approach to robust financial management

• You can turn complex and dry data, into clear and engaging narrative 

• You have project managed the implementation of new systems (accountancy / CRM / data) and have a good awareness of new technologies

• You are organised, methodical, strong on detail, and able to map out deadlines and plan ahead 

• You are skilled in leading a team and building rapport with people, and strike a balance between being supportive and challenging
