Key Responsibilities

As Senior Recruitment Officer, you will:

• Lead on recruitment for Tutors and Lead Tutors across subject areas and regions, ensuring recruitment targets are met
• Develop inclusive, innovative strategies to attract university students, graduates, career changers and other talent pools
• Design and deliver engaging tutor attraction campaigns, creating compelling content and managing social media outreach

Role overview

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis is a key leadership role within the Finance Team at FILE, responsible for the financial planning cycle and management information, business partnering support across the organisation, and financial reporting to donors.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Lead the FP&A team at FILE, including setting team vision, annual team planning and objectives
• Lead annual planning process across income, granting plans and operational expenditure, developing innovative approaches
• Ensure robust quarterly forecasting process supports resource planning, strategic operational expenditure investment decisions and guides the allocation of unrestricted and flexible funding to highest impact
• Ensure prompt monthly Management Information, implementing reporting tools, dashboards and  automation where possible

The purpose of this role is to provide essential, tailored casework support for residents living in Ella’s’ safe house accommodation. The main responsibilities of this role are:

● Provide one-to-one support for safe house residents This includes ensuring that survivors understand their rights and that these are met, coaching survivors to identify and work towards their personal goals, supporting survivors to access appropriate services/treatment providers and ultimately be supported into independence.
● Manage social work students, placements and interns.

Key tasks
Casework provision
● Provide high quality casework support to residents (housing, financial, legal, mental health, and physical wellbeing support)
● Support survivor empowerment to speak out and self-advocate
● Carry out regular risk assessment with survivors and respond to any safeguarding concerns as per Ella’s’ safeguarding procedures
● Provide day-to-day support and build trusting relationships with the service users
● Be sensitive to the rapidly changing emotional and physical needs of the service users and respond accordingly

● Ensure casenote records are recorded within 24 hours of each service user contact using Ella’s’ case management system

Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead ProVeg UK in this next phase of growth and impact. This role combines strategic leadership with high-level stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and organisational development. The ideal candidate brings entrepreneurial energy, exceptional communication skills, strong credentials in the UK NGO sector, and a passion for food systems transformation.

ProVeg UK has a very strong track record in influencing public food through its School Plates programme, which has, to date, swapped over 47m meals from meat-based to plant-based or veggie. We work in over 8,000 schools across the UK, reaching over 1.3 million children every day. We are keen to expand this excellent work to a wider range of stakeholders, including hospitals (a new manager has just been recruited to develop a Hospital Plates pilot), policymakers, the corporate sector and media. 

The Executive Director will be at the forefront of this expansion, while also ensuring the continued success of our existing programmes. This includes long-term rough sleeping, substance use, severe and enduring mental health issues, involvement with the criminal justice system, and self-care challenges.

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) is a unique and dynamic membership organisation which comprises 15 of the UK’s leading humanitarian agencies. 

The DEC launches appeals when there is a humanitarian emergency of such magnitude to warrant a national UK response, with most DEC funds being raised over an intensive two-week period following a disaster. DEC fundraising appeals benefit from the combined expertise of our member agencies, resulting in wide-reaching appeals across high-profile TV, radio, and an increasing number of digital channels. 

Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, the Direct Marketing Manager (Retention) is responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for DEC individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the DEC and the public.

As Direct Marketing Manager (Retention), you will: 

• Contribute to and develop DEC direct marketing strategies, including the refreshing, implementation and analysis of DEC’s segmentation, in order to maximise future income and continually improve the retention of individual supporters for future emergency appeals
• Lead on the production of retention and reporting back materials for individual and community supporters
• Manage the development and maintenance of specific supporter journeys
• Develop and oversee the materials and supporter positioning for a light-touch and mainly reactive legacy marketing programme for the DEC

Person specification:

• Strong direct marketing experience with a focus on high volume donor retention, with demonstrable knowledge of donor motivations, managing donor relationships, and direct marketing techniques such as direct mail, email, SMS and SMS content management systems

Senior Events Executive, Global’s Make Some Noise

This is a rare opportunity for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years events experience looking to take the next step and expand their skills by working on a diverse range of events ranging from our high profile celebrity fronted gala Global’s Make Some Noise Night, to stewardship events at incredible venues including Downing Street and The House of Lords to breakfast events in Global’s Leicester Square office. • Assess and support people for 12 months who have been through homelessness, placing them in stable jobs and safe homes 
• Build partnerships with businesses willing to work with Standing Tall to employ people who have been through homelessness
• Recruit, train, and support Standing Tall’s Amici Hosts to provide safe homes for people who have been through homelessness
• Having responsibility for Standing Tall’s operations and activities in London.

We are looking for a Head of Operations (Projects and Central Support) to join our team. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to support the smooth running of the IntoUniversity network, leading on strategic projects and work streams to improve and strengthen operational effectiveness across the organisation. You will have senior responsibility for the feasibility and setup process for prospect and new centres, as well as oversight of the training needs of the organisation and line management of the Volunteering Manager. You will sit on the charity’s Senior Operations Team and Safeguarding Team, and you will also play a key leadership role on the charity’s Head Office team.

Salary

£48,700 (including London contribution)
