PURPOSE OF POSITION

This is a critical operational leadership role that is responsible for the operation of the
organisation’s supported accommodation services.

Providing operational leadership to team managers and ensuring compliance with
organisational, contractual, local authority and legal regulations and the quality of
services is pushed to the highest possible standards; ensuring excellent outcomes for
residents and a positive and high performing working environment for teams.

This role will also be accountable for the development of excellent relationships with
external partners, commissioners, and other key stakeholders for support services in
the organisation.

You will be a key member of the charity's Extended Leadership team

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Service Delivery

• Lead in setting organisational standards and performance targets across the
support and resident services teams that reflect contractual requirements and
organisational standards.
• Actively promote and develop person centred practices based on a trauma
informed approach and psychologically informed environment to working with
residents with high support needs and challenging behaviour.
• Be accountable for the operational performance of the services, allocating
resources strategically to ensure that key performance indicators are achieved
and that action plans are in place where required to improve service
performance.
• Remodelling to promote accountability and co-production approaches with
residents.
• Work with the Head of Building & Facilities to ensure your teams put health &
safety procedures into practice to create a safe environment for our residents
and staff. Contribute, and when required, lead on the formation and review of
policies and procedures.

• Contribute to the Frontline Service’s Management On Call rota, providing
support to frontline services outside of office hours

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with Commissioners and regulatory bodies to enable
the service to meet contractual and regulatory KPI's and requirements.
• Submit management information on a monthly and quarterly basis and produce
other statistics and data as directed by the Director of Frontline Services.
• Responsible for effective liaison with outside agencies including the police, social
services and other statutory and voluntary agencies and delegating this work
where appropriate.
• Represent the organisation externally at forums, conferences and meetings.
• Contribute to the wider management team in frontline services to ensure good
communication, coordination and consistency of practice, approach and
development across the Directorate.

Business Planning and Project Management
• Drive business planning activities within contracts, ensuring relevant and
challenging objective setting and ongoing performance tracking, developing
turn around action plans as may be necessary
• Where agreed, project manage new services or service developments.
• Working closely with Finance Department to set, manage and monitor allocated
budgets for income and expenditure for support and resident services and to
ensure that teams meet performance targets.
• To ensure that financial procedures are maintained at all times in accordance
with organisational policies and procedures.

Managing and Developing People
• Take a leading role in developing a positive, values-based organisational
culture, in line with the charity's Your Place Way approach
• Developing performance targets and quality control measures for teams, and
monitoring performance to ensure that these are met.
• Supporting managers and teams by setting clear objectives and holding
individual supervisions regularly.
• Ensuring good communication across teams by holding team meetings
regularly, and additional briefings as necessary.
• Inducting new managers and planning the continuous professional development
of existing managers through annual appraisals.
• Managing the workload of teams to ensure that adequate cover is provided at
all times.

Safeguarding
• Act as Safeguarding Lead for the organisation
• To actively promote an open and accountable approach across the
organisation as a whole that ensures the organisation meets our legal duties,
keeps our policies up to date, and puts our residents' best interests at the
forefront.

Intensive Housing Management
• Ensure that our landlord responsibilities are delivered in a person-centred way
and in line with our regulatory and legal responsibilities
• Oversee the creation of a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment across all
our services that is responsive to resident needs.
• Develop standards and practice that provide clear evidence-based reporting to
meet regulatory compliance

General
• To attend meetings internally as and when necessary, for example, Directorate,
Management and planning meetings.
• To undertake such other duties within the competence of the post holder which
may be required from time to time.

on and the ability to translate knowledge into good practice.

housing.
• CIH Level 5 qualification
Abilities
• Ability to interact at senior, strategic level with external stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressured environment, with multiple
competing priorities and to quickly adapt to new situations.

Our CEO will be a source of continuity within the Students’ Association, providing vision and expertise to drive the Association forward towards organisational goals whilst ensuring that the Association is structured to facilitate Student Officers’ work towards organisational objectives.
As a key contact and partner with UHI stakeholders, the CEO is required to work towards aligning the Students’ Associations' progression into the UHI’s strategy. The CEO should also ensure that all aspects of organisational risk are identified, monitored and managed.

Title: Head of People and Talent

Nature of the Role: 0.8 FTE or Full time. Permanent (fixed term considered if preferable)

What’s your mission?

In this role you will embody Ada’s culture, being responsible for the wellbeing of the staff and attracting new talent as well as providing effective leadership and line management of the People function. Reporting directly into the CEO, you will act as a trusted, strategic partner, ensuring alignment on both organisation and people capabilities, fostering a culture of high performance and growth. You will regularly attend Executive Leadership Team (ELT) meetings and engage with Board Members and have the opportunity to harness the experience and expertise of some of our private sector pro bono supporters to drive forward the vital People Management agenda at Ada, which is a core pillar of our ‘Evolving to Ada 2.0’ strategy and critical to scaling our impact.

You will be responsible for leading the People and Talent team across our London and Manchester campuses, and ensuring relevant processes are followed as well as driving forward people management priorities and initiatives. This is a hands-on operational role that will also stretch your strategic thinking and planning skills. The role is expected to evolve in seniority as you build out the team underneath you in line with the College’s planned growth in learner volumes and staff headcount. The postholder will be expected to make regular visits to the college’s campus in Manchester/London.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

● Management -

○ Partner the Executive Leadership Team to lead on the implementation of Ada’s people management strategy as part of our new organisational strategy.

○ You will set clear priorities and focus areas for the People team, effectively managing performance, and supporting development.

○ Provide effective day-to-day support for the Executive Leadership Team and line managers to ensure the College runs smoothly, is attracting ever an ever better quality of candidates for vacant roles and is HR compliant at all times.

○ Design and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and retention, promoting a positive and inclusive culture for Ada.

● Building our Employer Brand -

○ Working with internal and external stakeholders, work to ensure we significantly improve our ability to attract and retain the best talent in a competitive market.

  Create a transparent and authentic brand externally to help Ada to welcome more amazing people.

● Employee Relations -

○ Advise line managers and staff on best practices for managing employee relation cases and conflict resolution using external best practice and up to date legislation.

○ Partner with the ELT on complex, high risk cases or disputes to deliver a pragmatic outcome that reduces risk to Ada.

○ Stay up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations, and ensure compliance in all employee activities while upholding Ada’s organisational values.

● Policies & Procedures -

○ Provide support and guidance to line managers and the Executive Leadership Team. Acting as a trusted advisor in all cases including performance management, conflict resolution and disciplinary cases ensuring Ada’s policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

○ Act as the leader on topics/requests related to policies, employment law and compliance.

○ Ensure policies and procedures are reviewed regularly and are up to date.

● Systems & Processes -

○ Provide support on change management programmes including restructures, ensuring change processes are implemented smoothly and risks are identified and mitigated in a timely manner.

○ Drive adoption of the recently implemented HR platform (i.e. AccessHR). Ensure all staff adhere to the agreed processes including performance management.

    Plans are to effectively link performance management to reward and recognition.

○ Proactively review existing processes and identify areas to introduce efficiencies.

● Diversity & Inclusion - Partner with the Executive Leadership Team, and lead on the implementation of the EDI action plan. In time, evolve this into a more formal strategy that ensures Ada remains an inclusive and welcoming employer across our campuses for all our staff and other stakeholders.

Key Skills and experience required

• A minimum of 4 years previous People/HR generalist and partnering experience preferably with some experience of working in schools, colleges, universities, training providers or education management organisations.
•  Level 7 CIPD qualified, or similar experience is essential Demonstrable experience of improving talent attraction, selection and development
•  Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of UK employment law and experience in handling complex ER cases, Employment Tribunals, ACAS Conciliations and Settlements. 
•  Demonstrable experience of working with leaders on complex people related issues.
•  High level of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
•  Evidence of delivering HR solutions, including strategic HR initiatives and change projects.
• Strong problem solving and decision making ability, with a proactive and solutions oriented mindset and approach.

As the Head of Engagement and Communications, you’ll support the Executive Director in leading AMOSSHE as a senior leader. You’ll also act as the Deputy Director, contributing to operational management, strategic development and stepping in for the Executive Director as needed. You’ll have line management responsibilities for members of the team. The Communications Coordinator will contribute to all aspects of Groundwork UK’s communications activity, with a particular focus on digital communications – including coordinating and contributing to the further development of our social media channels and newsletter outreach.

The post holder will have a flair for copywriting and a key interest in telling Groundwork’s story through the lens of those who Groundwork supports, working closely with Policy and Communications team colleagues on exciting fundraising and positioning campaigns. This includes spotting new opportunities to promote Groundwork’s mission, with encouragement to visit projects across the country to meet the people we support.

The role calls for strong project coordination and organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive and enthusiastic approach. Experience of managing websites is desirable, including an understanding of WordPress or a similar CRM system.

The Communications Coordinator will work closely with the PR and Communications Manager to contribute towards the continued development of communications needs of new and established grant and delivery programmes, including collaborating with stakeholders in the private and public sector.

The postholder will have responsibility for the day-to-day line management and continued development of the Digital Communications Assistant and an expectation to work collaboratively with Policy and Communications and wider Groundwork colleagues.

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to join the team on an initial 1-year FTC. You will play a pivotal role in developing strategic financial models and long-term planning frameworks that will underpin this ambitious initiative as it grows.

The Role

As FP&A Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of a project with major growth potential. Working closely with the project leadership team, economists, and technical experts, you will be responsible for developing robust financial models, managing budgets, and creating multi-year forecasts to guide commercial and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and presenting strategic financial models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide investment decisions.
• Building and maintaining a dynamic P&L and multi-year forecast model to inform funding and commercial strategy.
• Providing clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership and external stakeholders to support agile and informed decision-making.
• Embedding financial governance, risk management, and scalability into all financial processes.
• Ensuring robust controls and compliance aligned with best-practice standards.
• Acting as a trusted business partner across the project, translating financial data into actionable strategy.

About You

We’re looking for a qualified accountant with proven experience leading financial planning, analysis, and forecasting in a start-up or scaling organisation. You’ll bring both strategic insight and a hands-on approach, able to thrive in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where creativity and problem-solving are essential.

You will have:

• Demonstrable experience in FP&A or commercial finance leadership, ideally in a start-up or high-growth environment.
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario planning skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial data clearly.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to influence decision-making at all levels.

About you

We're looking for a Health & Safety leader with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills who is excited to deliver true impact. 

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) or equivalent, with demonstrable competence as a Health & Safety leader.
• Significant experience in a senior H&S role, ideally in a complex multi-site organisation (e.g., retail, charity, facilities, or commercial).
• Proven track record of developing and embedding H&S management systems and delivering cultural change.
• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation, risk management frameworks, and compliance obligations.
• Experience managing serious incidents, investigations, and regulatory engagement.
• Skilled communicator, able to influence senior leaders and engage volunteers and frontline staff.
• Experience building and leading H&S teams, including developing others' competence.
• Knowledge of security, and safeguarding interactions with H&S.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 or similar management systems.
• Demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with leaders and influence at all levels.

The Donmar has an exceptional ability to raise private funds, and the vital importance of fundraising is recognised across the organisation and embedded in the overall strategy. Each year we raise around half our income through fundraising from a varied number of sources, with corporate income representing around a third of the fundraised income. The Development team is led by the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising, and comprises 11 people.

Purpose of role

The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join the Development department at a time of rapid and exciting growth for the team, with a remit to lead a high achieving and ambitious team of three to achieve significant revenue targets through partnerships and sponsorships, oversee a successful corporate masterclass programme and research and implement new opportunities to generate revenue.

This role is ideally suited to an ambitious and highly motivated individual who thrives in a busy and fast-paced environment with senior experience in corporate development, and who is interested in playing a critical role at one of the UK's leading producing theatres. The successful candidate will be a brilliant relationship builder and manager, both internally and externally. Duties and Responsibilities

Partnerships and Sponsorships 

• Work alongside the Head of Philanthropy and Head of Trusts and Events to deliver the Donmar’s Development strategy in line with the wider Organizational strategy and following our core Donmar values.
• Lead the Corporate Development team to maximise revenue from corporate partnerships and the Donmar’s growing corporate masterclass programme. 
• Report to and work closely with the Director of Strategic Development and Fundraising to set ambitious yet realistic annual targets for the corporate team. 
• Lead on new business, personally generating significant income through identifying prospective new corporate partners and delivering effective cultivation strategies, including engaging appropriate members of the Board and Development Committee. 
• Take a commercial approach to income generation at the Donmar, identifying and developing new opportunities for further growth. 
• Exploring new partnerships models in collaboration with our Partners, co-creating projects and being excited about change and innovation.
• Lead on the account management of the Donmar’s major Partners.

Person Specification

Essential

• Significant senior experience of managing corporate partnerships in house, ideally in the performing arts, heritage or higher education sector. 
• Demonstrable success in securing six figure partnerships from a range of sectors. 
• An experienced and strong relationship manager, with demonstrable ability to retain and grow partnerships. 
• Experience of developing new commercial opportunities to generate earned income.
• An entrepreneurial and proactive approach to identifying opportunities for corporate partnerships.  
• A team player, with experience leading and motivating a team to achieve and exceed targets.  
• The ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
• The ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment.
• Experience of budget setting and monitoring.
• Exceptional understanding of the corporate fundraising marketplace.

• Experience of working with CRM databases, preferably Spektrix

A leading educational organisation in the Peterborough region is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join their high-performing finance team. This is a varied and strategic role, combining the production of management accounts with genuine business partnering across a broad range of academic and non-academic budget holders. You’ll provide financial insight, analysis, and guidance to support effective decision-making and ensure resources are allocated efficiently and in line with statutory requirements. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in linking finance with curriculum planning and wider organisational strategy. The role does not include line management responsibilities.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, providing strategic financial advice that drives performance.
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting and insightful analysis to support decision-making at Executive and Leadership level.
• Produce management accounts, journals, and year-end support.
