We’re looking for a Head of Estates, Facilities and Safety to oversee our commercial property portfolio, including our London office. What does this role do?
As Head of Estates, Facilities and Safety, you will:
- develop and deliver a long-term commercial property strategy, working with colleagues responsible for centres and shops.
- lead health, safety, and risk management across all properties and embed risks into business continuity planning.
- oversee leases, contracts, and agreements to maximise value, minimise risk, and ensure compliance.
- manage budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure properties support financial sustainability.

To be successful in this role, you'll need senior-level experience in property and facilities management, ideally with a RICS Certificate. The Motability Foundation is seeking a proactive Public Affairs and Stakeholder Engagement professional to join the Communications team and help drive forward our public affairs and wider engagement activity.
Reflecting the current dynamic political environment, we are looking for a driven Executive to play a critical role in promoting and enhancing awareness of the Motability Foundation among key political stakeholders, as well as wider audiences across the disability sector, transport operators, and other relevant stakeholder groups.
What you will be doing:
- Supporting the implementation of public affairs activities aligned with the Motability Foundation’s vision and overall strategy.
- Amplifying the Motability Foundation’s voice in Parliament, across the devolved nations, by supporting political engagement work under the guidance of the Public Affairs Manager

- Experience of regular political monitoring and familiarity with utilising political monitoring services - i.e. DeHavilland, Polimonitor or similar.

The Opportunity

- Lead the implementation of the strategy, ensuring that KPIs are met / action is taken to course correct, and provide day-to-day guidance and long-term strategic direction for all employees within the College
- Oversee the College’s existing and new products and services, ensuring that they are of the highest standard, and are informed by research and impact evaluation
Leadership
- Advise on the education content of external communications
- Provide overall accountability and leadership in a range of areas including membership, publishing, content, research, Chartered status and other professional learning and accreditation
- Report to the Council as required and be the Executive Leadership Team representative for relevant committees, and ensure they have the reports and data needed to make informed decisions for the College

Role Purpose
The Head of Partnerships and Systemic Change will lead MCF’s efforts to build strategic partnerships, drive systemic change, and influence policy to enable Muslim-led charities to thrive in a more equitable, inclusive, and impactful civil society.
The postholder will work closely with key stakeholders, including policymakers, government departments, funders, infrastructure bodies, and sector leaders, to address structural inequalities, unlock resources, and elevate the recognition of Muslim-led charities in British society.
