Measures of success – 

In the first few months, you would have:

• Secured substantial new partnership income by crafting compelling proposals, with particular focus on sponsorships for our flagship annual appeal "Make Some Noise Day."

• Developed a solid understanding of Global’s Radio, Digital, and Outdoor platforms in order to leverage them effectively for charity partnership campaigns.

• Provided exceptional account management and smooth project implementation, ensuring partnership deliverables align with key objectives.

Responsibilities of the role

• Be responsible for securing a fixed amount of new business income annually. Identify and secure new high-value partners through proactive prospecting, engaging pitches, and effective relationship building. 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless partnership delivery, including Campaigns, Talent, Finance, Legal, Commercial planning and more.

• Brainstorm creative branded content ideas and partnership solutions to meet both proactive and reactive briefs.

• Produce comprehensive post-campaign partnership reports to summarize activities to highlight key learnings and recommendations.

• Diligently manage partnership accounts, providing materials, resources, contracts and project plans as required.

• Provide support to Head of Brand Partnerships on all projects and practice adaptability according to external and internal priorities.

• Develop strong working relationships and exceed expectations with partners secure repeat business.

• Produce compelling case studies and pitch documents to support new business endeavours and potential award entries.

• Support with financial reporting, income tracking and forecasting.

Working arrangements
 
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London Office.

Able to follow brand guidelines, visual identity, tone of voice, content frameworks and social policy guidelines, you have a range of technical design skills, such as social photography, videography, editing and graphic design.

With a passion for social media and a keen understanding of content from a user’s perspective, you have an in-depth knowledge of the social media industry and creating social content.

The LSO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Partnerships Executive (New Business) to lead on identifying and engaging with a new portfolio of prospective corporate supporters, in liaison with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and Director of Development to develop new sponsorship opportunities, taking into account current corporate priorities and sector trends. This role is initially on a fixed-term contract basis for 12 months, with the potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and engaging a new portfolio of prospective corporate supporters
 

• Research and identify possible corporate partners for the LSO, preparing updates to discuss with the wider LSO Corporate Development team 
• Lead on initial contact with cold prospects, securing introductory meetings for the LSO, preparing briefings and attending meetings with a colleague from the Development team 
• Identify possible corporate supporters for particular areas of the LSO’s work, including Barbican concerts, international tours, accessible ticket schemes, education and community projects, major fundraising galas, as well as broader initiatives such as improving sustainability and fulfilling the LSO’s DEI plan

Role Summary    

This exciting role will enable Alcohol Change UK to reach millions of people across the UK with key messages about alcohol and alcohol harm, delivered through print, online, and broadcast media engagement tactics. With a high level of existing press interest in our work and campaigns (including our flagship Dry January® campaign), this is an exciting moment as we look to develop our proactive media engagement and share reframed stories about alcohol which resonate with a huge audience. Your work will drive significant awareness of our organisation, and ultimately enable millions of people to transform their relationship with alcohol.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities    

Media engagement  

• Manage the organisation’s media inbox and phone line, handling enquiries from journalists and providing responses in a timely manner

• Provide regular out of hours media cover on a rota basis (scaling depending on busier campaign periods, shared fairly with others and TOIL provided for hours worked)

• Develop public media statements and quotes across the whole spectrum of Alcohol Change UK’s work, issuing to press both reactively and proactively

• Provide ongoing development of our key lines library, regularly reviewing responses we have on file for a range of topics 

• Support Alcohol Change UK spokespeople (Chief Executive, Directors and others) prepare for interviews: developing tailored briefings ahead of opportunities, providing a sounding board to rehearse key lines when required and giving feedback on appearances to support ongoing development

• Manage our media database and reporting tools, providing regular condensed reports for the Director of Communications and Marketing/CEO/Board and develop insights-gathering to better inform our media engagement strategy

• With the Director of Communications and Marketing, play a key role in media crisis management, escalating issues as appropriate, suggesting solutions and developing organisational responses to sensitive situations

• Support the deployment of Alcohol Change UK voices, working closely with the Engagement Team to identify Community Champions, Ambassadors and others who are happy to be supported to share their experiences of alcohol and alcohol harm with the media

Developing a new proactive media strategy  

• Plan and deliver a new strategy for generating proactive media coverage, where Alcohol Change UK’s research, campaigns, parliamentary and wider activity connect with larger audiences in a strategic way

• Working closely with teams across the organisation, craft compelling media plans and press releases to generate coverage of our work

• Bring fresh energy to opportunity spotting, securing opinion pieces, expert comment, letters to editors and other ‘newsjacking’ content – particularly on ‘culture change’ topics such as sober shaming and stigma 

• Manage relationships with key journalists in our sector, exploring opportunities for partnerships and exclusives

Campaign media activity  

• Particularly for our flagship Dry January® campaign, and with the support of the Director of Communications and Marketing, develop media support briefs for external media agencies, when required 

• Develop fresh strategies and media angles for annual campaigns (Dry January®, Sober Spring, Alcohol Awareness Week) to keep activity engaging for public and returning audiences

• Think creatively to craft media strategies which are tailored to reach segmented audience groups, aligning with targets for individual campaigns to reach under-served communities 

• Provide detailed campaign media evaluations, insights and learning reports

• Work closely with colleagues across the charity to support their work and to act as ‘one team’ 

• Contribute actively and positively to charity-wide strategies 

• Continually develop your knowledge of alcohol harm and solutions to it 

• Act as a positive ambassador for Alcohol Change UK at all times

• Work flexible hours as necessary to meet the needs of the charity, time off in lieu (TOIL) will be earnt for any work required outside of normal working hours 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance has an exciting opportunity for an Aviation Director to join the Executive Team and to be responsible for all aspects of aviation and other, non-clinical, operational activities.  Also, as part of EHAAT’s strategic plan to gain its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) in late 2025, the Aviation Director will form and lead the new AOC team supported by our experienced AOC transition Programme Manager.  As the AOC Accountable Manager, they will be responsible for all aspects of the safe, compliant and effective operation of our 2 AW169 helicopters in their life-saving role.

ABOUT US

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. This free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and rapid response vehicles.

Each critical care team consists of a pilot and co-pilot, a pre-hospital care doctor and a critical care paramedic.

They can be rushed to the scene with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care, usually only in the hospital emergency department.

Once stabilised, the patient will be conveyed to the most appropriate hospital by air or land.

Without access to National Lottery funding and with only limited support from Government, we rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to remain operational and keep saving lives…we can’t fly without you!

The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) is seeking an experienced Financial Controller on a part-time basis to manage the transition of the financial systems and processes. With 2,400 members, the IPS is dedicated to advancing infection prevention and control (IPC), playing a pivotal role in supporting IPC professionals, promoting best practices, and influencing policy to prevent infections.

The organisation is transitioning away from being a association-management / volunteer-led model to a small secretariat, hiring its first CEO and five other positions, including this most senior finance role. You will lead on the transition process covering all aspects of financial management, to ensure the Society’s financial integrity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial transition to an in-house model.
• Creating and testing all internal processes.
• Oversee Statutory accounts, budgeting, credit control, financial reporting and compliance.
• Manage payroll and pension scheme implementation.
• Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and support with audit.
• Investigate potential new income generation schemes with CEO.

Requirements:

• Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ICAEW, AAT, ACCA, etc.)
• Proven experience in a financial management role, ideally within a membership body, learned society, nfp/charity or public sector.
• Open to part-time role only.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
• Analytical and strategic mindset.
• Strong comms to train and support non-financial staff.

About You:

Having worked in a third sector direct marketing role previously, you will have experience running effective national and regional campaigns using a variety of fundraising channels including digital, email, social media, direct mail, and telemarketing. With your good organisational and time management skills you’ll be able to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities under pressure. 

You will have knowledge of usability testing, user research methods and conversion rate optimisation as well as an understanding of fundraising regulator guidance, gambling commission compliance and GDPR. 

About The Role

• Manage the delivery of all Retention campaigns from concept through to evaluation, using data and insight to drive creative and production, drawing up schedules, and managing the approval processes
• Work collaboratively with data teams to ensure effective use of supporter profiling for delivery across a range of Retention campaigns
• Manage relationships with external agencies including media houses, designers and printers; to negotiate costs and relevant performance reviews
• Responsibility for collation of all KPI tracking, trend analysis and activity results that feed into the team’s reporting and performance structure 
• Work alongside the Content team to research and develop strong cases for support to appeal to existing donors. To gather information, case studies and photos for use in all direct marketing campaigns. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters

This unique position will contribute to the strategic development of the charity, allowing the right individual to bring expertise from previous roles to expand external partnerships and influence.  Keychange is a Christian Charity working in elderly social care and homeless communities.  Keychange provides care, support, development, and well-being services across nine sites in England, consisting of seven residential Care Homes for older people and two Housing Communities for young people, with an additional housing site in development. The Director of Strategic Partnerships reports to the CEO and is a part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) along with the Director of Finance, the Director of Operations and Facilities Business Manager.  The SLT is responsible for the leadership, culture and oversight of Keychange in the Central Office and Community Sites.
