Your responsibilities
Conferencing and reception
· Line management of a team of two staff: the CMS House supervisor and conferencing and reception assistant

· Giving direct support to the team, providing cover on reception and help for major events happening in the CMS House building

Facilities management
· Monitoring the contracted services for the supply of utilities (gas, electricity, water, etc) and selected services (windows, pest control, hygiene, refuse collection)
· Arranging and supervising building maintenance contracts - lifts, air conditioning, fixed equipment electrical testing, fire alarms, CCTV and others - and minor repairs as required. Renegotiating contracts as needed, involving the director of finance and corporate services and the CMS legal advisor as required.
· Maintain the performance of building services, optimising maintenance regimes and proposing improvements
· Liaise with existing tenants. Work with agency appointed by CMS to arrange marketing of the surplus office space and work with the CMS legal advisor on the tenancy agreements.
· Managing other properties owned by CMS (2025: three houses and two flats) which are let or licensed for occupation to employees and former mission partners, advising on maintenance as required
· Manage the maintenance of the pooled car fleet
Health and safety
· Responsible for the co-ordination of health and safety policy for the whole organisation, working with the support of consultants where required
· Maintain the building to meet health and safety legal compliance
· Carrying out daily and weekly checks as needed, e.g. fire alarm, water safety
· Arrange training of first-aiders, fire wardens and oversee fire drills
Other
· Flexibility with working hours as required e.g.: co-ordination of some maintenance out of hours to ensure minimal disruption and communication with contracts
· Manage the facilities budget and related invoice and expense administration
· Contribute to the Creation Care group in relation to the use of the building and car fleet

RSTMH organises and participates in events as a crucial way of showcasing, discussing, and debating key areas of tropical medicine and global health research and practice. Our range of events are wide. We deliver conferences and webinars, social events, research meetings for early career professionals, and high-profile debates and discussions. The Meetings and Events Manager would lead on the delivery of the RSTMH meeting and events strategy. The role requires a self-starter who is excited by the prospect of working on such a broad range of meetings and events. 1. IT Coordination

Position: Office Administrator
Responsible to: Head of Business Operations and Finance
Location: An office in Victoria, London.
Hours: Flexible working – 35 hours per week. Flexible working with the expectation to attend routine business rhythm in the London office in person at least three days a week.
Salary: £25,000–£27,000 per annum

· Manipulate and exploit the CRM data to inform improvement activities;
· Maintain efficient GDPR CRM compliant records and
· Represent TNF at a variety of events, including Royal and prestige events.

About the opportunity
We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes.
We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Nottingham.
- The Nottingham Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
- The Nottingham Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
- Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
- Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
- Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

The nature of this role will also require you to demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to cope with some uncertainty.
This position would suit you if you’re looking to develop your experience in the education or charity sectors. Existing experience of working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting would be an asset.
