The Royal School of Needlework
The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is the International Centre of Excellence for the Art of Hand Embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we have been dedicated to preserving and innovating in the art of hand embroidery since 1872. Our thriving education programme offers courses for all levels, from beginners to degree level, and we teach onsite and online in locations across the UK, and internationally in America, Japan, and Australia. Our renowned Embroidery Studio creates bespoke embroidery for fashion, art, and royalty and offers expert conservation and restoration services for valuable and historical embroidered pieces.
The RSN is unique. No other single organisation covers the breadth of education and practice to promote the art and technique of hand embroidery or has our connections, collection, archive and heritage. Embroidery is an international language. Cultures and communities have used embroidery-based techniques to tell stories and record events for hundreds of years while the individual benefits of mindfulness and mental wellbeing are now increasingly being recognised today.
Overview
The Royal School of Needlework (RSN) is seeking a highly motivated and organised Fundraising Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support for our fundraising activities. The Fundraising Assistant will play a key role in generating vital income and helping the organisation achieve its fundraising goals by assisting with donor relations, event planning, grant research, data management, and campaign coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Support and Stewardship:
- Become a ‘super’ user of the CRM/database.
- Maintain donor records in the CRM/database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Help with the acknowledgment process, including sending thank-you letters and recognition communications to donors.
- Assist in coordinating donor communications and outreach campaigns (e.g., newsletters, appeals, and stewardship materials).
Event Support:
- Provide logistical and administrative support for fundraising events, including venue coordination, volunteer management, invitations, and guest lists.
- Help with event set-up, registration, and follow-up tasks.
- Assist in preparing event materials, such as programs, signage, and donation forms.
Grant Research and Application Support:
- Assist in researching potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government sources.
- Help prepare grant proposal materials and ensure submission deadlines are met.
- Track and report on the status of grant applications and funding received.
- Campaign Coordination:
- Support the planning and execution of online and offline fundraising campaigns, including peer-to-peer campaigns, crowdfunding, and direct mail appeals.
- Assist with creating and managing campaign content, such as donation pages, emails, and social media posts.
- Help monitor campaign progress and gather data to report on results.
Data Entry and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of donations, donor interactions, and event participation.
- Provide regular reports on fundraising progress, event outcomes, and donor engagement to the fundraising team.
- Assist in preparing data for end-of-year reports and audits.
Administrative and Operational Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the fundraising team, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and handling correspondence.
- Help with office management tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining filing systems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a fundraising, administrative, or nonprofit role is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interest in education, heritage, fundraising, and community engagement.
Skills:
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with donor management software (e.g., Beacon, Access/ThankQ, Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact prof essionally with donors, volunteers, and staff.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience or qualifications

About the role
As our CRM Product Manager, you will define and deliver a visionary CRM strategy that empowers WaterAid’s fundraising success, working closely with technical teams, fundraising stakeholders, and global partners to drive sustainable change.
In this role, you will:
- Set and lead the CRM vision for WaterAid UK and work with international colleagues on a global CRM strategy.
- Define and own the CRM roadmap, aligning it with strategic priorities and ensuring a well-managed product backlog and measurable outcomes.
- Lead and develop the CRM Product team, fostering a high-performing culture and delivering a best-in-class platform for fundraising operations.

Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other enterprise CRM platforms, and a clear understanding of how CRM drives fundraising strategy.
- Strong business and systems analysis skills, including the ability to write effective user stories and translate requirements into actionable solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams through technology transformation, with experience in stakeholder management and navigating change.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work across diverse cultures and manage supplier relationships and budgets effectively.
Although not essential, we’d prefer you to have:
- Knowledge of fundraising-specific CRM services such as GiftAid, Direct Debits, BACs, event and supporter management.
- Experience with extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, particularly handling large batch data operations.
- Hands-on experience developing solutions within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Regional Youth and Community Director
OASIS UK – Youth and Community (OCP)

At an exciting and key stage in our journey we have the opportunity for Youth and Community Directors to join our team supporting Oasis’ youth and community work in neighbourhoods in the following regions;
- London and South East (North, Central and South London and Kent - five local Oasis charities)
- North West (Greater Manchester – two local charities, and two regionwide youth violence contracts)
- North East (NE Lincs, Humber, Bradford and Sheffield – four local charities)
With accountability to the Oasis CEO for Youth and Community the role of the regional Youth and Community Director will have three main functions:
1 Strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams
2 Regional development, working alongside other functions within the Oasis family
3 Being part of the national Youth and Community leadership team
The Youth and Community Director will have strategic management oversight of local Youth and Community teams in the region, providing accountability and support to the local leaders and charity boards. This responsibility area falls into two categories; those the Director is directly responsible for, and those they are responsible for ensuring are carried out by those within their region.

In 2024, a staggering 4.1 million UK women experienced economic abuse at the hands of their current or former partner. The rising cost of living has only exacerbated the devastated impact of this form of domestic abuse.
Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.
Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.
This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Income will play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation and enabling us to scale our impact.
The Head of Income will lead a talented team, including our Senior Fundraising Manager (trusts and foundations) and Corporate Development Manager (strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships), and collaborate closely with our CEO, Trustees and earned income delivery teams (consultancy and training) whilst also being hands on in relationship development. Your approach will be collaborative, survivor-centred and driven by SEA’s values. Purpose
The Philanthropy Leads, reporting to the Head of Philanthropy, are responsible for inspiring new prospective, cultivating and stewarding high-value donors into greater involvement with Christians Against Poverty. Responsibilities
- Strategic Implementation & Fundraising
- Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.
- Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.
- Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.
- Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.
- Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.
Major Donor Development
- Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, personalised communications, and bespoke stewardship plans to cultivate and steward major donors.
- Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.

Communications & Campaign Management:
- Plan philanthropy initiatives that in order to produce excellent bids, proposals, events, and reports, delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with the Brand and Digital Engagement teams to align messaging and campaigns.
- Ensure philanthropy plans align with brand guidelines and fundraising regulations.
Measurable Outputs:
- Implementation of an annual philanthropy plan that contributes to the wider long-term fundraising strategy.

Skills required
- A proven fundraiser who can inspire, influence and deliver results

Role purpose:
This role manages the UK digital team, driving our digital presence, supporting fundraising and leveraging new digital opportunities. You will also be part of a project to scale digital advertising and performance marketing. The role is focused on optimising the ShelterBox UK digital channels, including website, social media, email marketing and digital advertising, to reach new target audiences, grow engagement, and increase digital income.
You will drive a high-quality and consistent online experience that responds to the values, needs and behaviours of warm and new supporters - ensuring all our digital content is well planned, cohesive and on-brand.
As part of the Communications & Digital team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the Fundraising and Communications department to deliver digital activity and supporter journeys that support fundraising campaigns and appeals, performance marketing, as well as awareness and educating audiences on the issues faced by people after disaster.

Paid media is an area of strategic growth, so experience of managing digital ads and always on advertising is essential, as well as experience of working with agencies.

Job Description
Duties will include but not be limited to:
Digital marketing and strategy
- Oversee the delivery of the digital strategy.
- Alongside fundraising colleagues, the Social & Paid Advertising Manager, and an external agency, play an active role in the strategic priority project to upscale digital ads and performance marketing to drive income.
- Oversee the social media for organic reach and engagement and developing fresh approaches as algorithms change.
- Oversee the delivery of our email marketing, increasing email engagement, boosting income, and improving retention.
- Oversee the website, ensuring all web pages are written for digital audiences and fully optimised for search.
- Oversee planning for cohesive integrated campaigns that roll out across our channels.
- Provide analysis and monitoring of digital activity, using data and analytics to inform future campaigns and content strategy.
- Ensure budget is allocated efficiently and delivering value.
- Ensure your team are reviewing new technologies and platforms, keeping the department informed of developments in digital marketing, and encourage the digital team to seek out and identify new trends.

Team management

- Manage and coach team to produce high quality digital content that's on-brand designed to increase reach and engagement with target audiences.

Job Purpose
BSR events are a key benefit to members and the wider rheumatology community, offering the very latest in science, innovation, research and cases.
Our events team deliver the award-winning Annual Conference in a hybrid format to c2500 delegates, plus our Case-based Conference, as well as a programme of celebratory awards.
This role sits within the Events team which is responsible for delivering BSR’s annual conferences and awards. The team of four includes the Head of Events, Events Manager, Digital Events Manager and the Events Executive, who assists in the planning and delivery of our hybrid and in-person events. You will work on a range of areas including registration, logistics, being the main point of contact for delegates, and liaising with venues and suppliers. This is an exciting role for someone looking to get more exposure to different areas of events and working with multiple stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage the registration process for BSR conferences, including online booking journey, managing CRM/registration systems, end to end customer service and reporting registration data insights.
- Work with the Events Manager on the delivery of conference programmes and networking events.
- Lead on event logistics including awards, abstract poster submissions, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation, accommodation, travel arrangements and speaker expenses.
- Champion BSR’s values by leading on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and accessibility for conferences, working with venues and suppliers to ensure a positive experience for attendees.
- Support the Events Manager and Business Development Manager with sponsor and exhibition deliverables on areas including registration and posters.

This role will oversee two of our flagship programmes: the WellChild Nurses and Better at Home programme.
Purpose of the role:
Working alongside the Director of Programmes and wider programmes team, the successful candidate will ensure that the collective knowledge and skills of both our national nurse network and our flagship Better at Home suites are embedded into the Charity’s strategy and activities. WellChild currently have over 50 nurse posts across the UK and 13 Better at Home training facilities.
