What you'll do:
The successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of scalable analytics infrastructure while leading cross-functional collaboration on data initiatives. From establishing best practice in data governance and privacy, to guiding the use of predictive modelling and AI where appropriate, your role will be central to shaping how we understand and act on our data. As well as driving forward Southbank Centre’s strategic ambitions, you’ll help equip teams across the organisation to make better use of data, offering training, guidance, and coaching to support a more confident, data-literate culture.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Proven experience leading data strategy, with a strong foundation in data science, BI platforms, and statistical analysis
- Confidence managing data infrastructure, including architecture, tools and systems that support organisational-wide needs
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance (e.g. GDPR), and experience embedding frameworks that ensure legal and ethical data use.
- Ability to translate complex data into accessible insights that inform strategy and business decisions
- A collaborative and inclusive approach, with experience supporting and upskilling others to build confidence in data use.

About the role
Our mission at Hope into Action is to enable the local church to house the homeless and we’re looking for a Church and Tenant Empowerment worker to join our team in Portsmouth.
The role is based at our office in Portsmouth working in partnership with local churches to support and empower tenants in our homes in Portsmouth and the surrounding area. Our homes comprise of single male tenants or single female tenants or families, all of whom have experienced homelessness, and your role will be ensuring that all tenants have up to date personal development plans, risk assessments and ongoing support.
Each home is partnered with a local church who provide love and friendship for the tenants, that you will also support. This will involve actively engaging with the church and maintaining church interest in the Hope into Action project. The role includes training, equipping, and encouraging church volunteers in their role as mentors and befrienders to the tenants.
You will need to have a flexible approach to working outside of the normal 9-5 to be able to engage with tenants that work and the volunteers. You will be required to occasionally speak in Sunday services and get involved in occasional weekend and evening events. We are a Christian organisation and candidates values must be in keeping with the Christian faith.

For this role, you would be someone with a passion for the homeless and our values, who is able to work with church leaders and church members. You will need to be able to work with tenants with support needs, including poor mental health, past offending, and drug and alcohol dependency issues. We value good listening skills. Shannon Trust are delighted to be working with His Majesty’s Prison & Probation Service (HMPPS) to provide peer-led literacy and numeracy programmes across a number of prisons. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Morton Hall. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role will be prison based. The Role
Lead the development, planning, recruitment and stewardship strategy for U/HNW philanthropy prospects, donors and funders
Be responsible for ensuring excellent stewardship of all philanthropic donors.
Oversee the individual major donor portfolios of the Executive Director of F&E and Director, (PSC) to ensure cross communication and sustained progress.
Lead the team, providing clear direction and support whilst proactively contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.
The Candidate
A demonstrable track record of success in fundraising from individuals and/or Trusts with a focus on major giving.
Proven ability to develop new networks of potential donors.
Strong experience of working in a senior management role within fundraising.
Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
