Floating Support Worker
We have a new role available for a Floating Support Worker to work with vulnerable Adults across the seven West London Boroughs to support them maintaining tenancies after time experiencing homelessness.

About the Role
As a Floating Support Worker, you will work with adults who have experienced homelessness to help them maintain their accommodation and improve their quality of life. Supporting people across the seven West London boroughs, you’ll provide tailored, person-centred support that empowers people to live more independently.
Key Deliverables include:
• Interview and assess clients in order to determine suitability for the service.
• Following initial assessment to go through a programme of work with clients accepted to cover accommodation needs, independent living skills, support with work and learning and social and emotional issues, then subsequent referrals to relevant agencies.
• Where clients have moved in to accommodation, the worker will provide support through a programme of regular visits. These may include support and advice or more structured life-skills training as required.
• To be available to deal with clients who need help or advice, either by phone or on a drop-in basis.
• Create a package of support around the client, signposting where appropriate.
• To be available to represent Depaul UK at meetings concerning the client, supporting or advocating on their behalf.
• Keep clear and relevant records and statistics, and to ensure good communication with the project workers and project evaluators.
• Make a positive contribution to team meetings, Case management meetings and make a contribution to any policy reviews and consultations.
About You
You’ll be committed to supporting vulnerable people to build their confidence and independence. You’ll also bring:
• Able to work on own initiative but at same time able to exercise sound judgement in knowing when to consult with peers and clients to meet the service KPI’s
• A clear understanding and ability to implement risk management, information sharing and data security arrangements.
• Awareness of and commitment to equal opportunity and diversity practise. Ability to promote and implement diversity practice and policies and treat colleagues and clients fairly and with respect.
• Demonstrate ability to use IT to a level which will enable high quality reporting to be carried out. This should include an ability to use data capture systems including running queries and reports.
• Experience of helping vulnerable people with setting up benefits and maintaining their accommodation, especially people who have experienced homelessness.
• Experience of working with people who are categorized as vulnerable or have complex needs such as mental health issues, drug and alcohol misuse, domestic violence and offending behavior. (this list is not exhaustive)
• Knowledge and understanding of the criminal Justice system and benefits system.
• Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of safeguarding requirements and professional boundaries when working with vulnerable people.

We are recruiting three Digital Product Managers, to join our Digital and Service Design Team on a 23 month Fixed Term Contract.
The Fund is embarking on an exciting digital journey over the coming years. This role will put you at the heart of those ambitions. You will take a lead role in helping us to translate these ambitions in to operational reality through improving our current digital service. The role is crucial in helping us deliver our digital strategy. As a Digital Product Manager you will take ownership of one or more of our critical digital products (and the relevant part of the service journey). Your role will be to oversee the delivery of the service, making sure the programme meets its aim, line managing the Complex Lives Navigator. You will jointly collate all reports for the quarterly Operational Governance and Performance Board and present outcomes and learning. You will also be responsible for compiling reports, including case studies, for the commissioner demonstrating Reach Out’s activities and impact.
Identifying opportunities for systems change will also be a key part of the role, including building relationships with agencies and people with lived experience to understand issues and barriers to accessing treatment, using data and feeding back insight where needed and making sure lessons learnt inform future service delivery.
About You
You have experience of developing relationships and building trust with both individuals and partner organisations and excellent skills in communication and problem-solving. With demonstrable experience of performance reporting, chairing and facilitating meetings and workshops, you are able to establish joint working protocols and referral pathways with partner organisations. Experience of analysing data and developing insights to monitor and evaluate the service, along with experience of safeguarding frameworks, line management and experience and understanding of drug and alcohol services will be key.

The Reach Out Service supports people who have substance use issues, taking the support to them either in their accommodation or where they are rough sleeping. The service supports people with their current goals, which can include areas such as starting prescription medication, group work, continued substance use and abstinence.
You will be part of the Dorset Hub which has offices in Bournemouth and Weymouth and will link in with other Shelter teams, including the community advice and legal teams. About the role
Due to growth and investment in the team, 3 exciting opportunities have arisen to join a lively, dynamic and driven fundraising events team. Over the last decade, Breast Cancer Now has built up a strong events function, with community fundraising and events currently accounting for nearly a quarter of the charity’s overall voluntary income.
We’re now looking for 3 events assistants to play a key role within the team. Supporting the delivery of our varied portfolio of challenge events, currently comprising of walking, running, cycling, swimming and trekking challenges. You’ll engage hundreds of fundraisers, acting as a first point of contact and an ambassador for the organisation to excite and retain our supporters. About you

About the Role:
This role is based in Stafford but will work flexibly across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent. The service will be delivered as per service user requirements and will involve some early evening and possible weekend delivery, potentially on a rota basis.

Job Purpose:
The postholder administers all day-to-day activities within People Services and is responsible for the accurate, timely administration of all people-related data throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment to retirement. Committed to business process improvement, the post-holder operates within strict confidentiality and compliance boundaries. The People Services Officer role models organisational values and behaviours, providing technical advice to colleagues when required and supporting the People Services Manager across all areas of the team’s work.
Main responsibilities:
- People administration and record keeping
- Always ensure fully compliant employee records, updating as required.
- Process all monthly changes (starters, leavers, contractual changes) accurately and meeting payroll deadlines.
- Bring a focus to gathering diversity data, so that insight and appropriate action and support is possible.
- Maintain and explain annual leave, providing reports as necessary for line managers.
- Ensure that employee files are updated with all relevant correspondence and maintained in line with GDPR, with archiving and data erasure in line with BC’s policy.
- Support the CEO Office and People Services Manager with the annual pay review administration.
- Continuously improve data management processes to enable clear and accurate reporting.
- Support Finance and Payroll with audit requests, meeting reporting deadlines.
Recruitment and selection, onboarding, and induction
- Manage the sourcing and advertising of new roles, once approved for recruitment.
- Support the procurement and management of external recruitment partners and internal assessment panels
- Liaise between candidates and hiring managers, setting up panels and ensuring selection process is effective and candidate friendly.
- Ensure that any reasonable adjustments requested during recruitment are implemented appropriately.
- Support hiring managers with induction and onboarding.
- Support BC induction programmes, providing information and presenting on People Services topics.
- Support on VISA and immigration and DBS checking as required.
- Run the Buddy Scheme for BC.
HR Information and Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS (Breathe), record and update.
- Provide regular standard reporting on key performance metrics for the organisation. (e.g. staff turnover, sickness absence, PDR completion rates, FTE, and headcount.)
- Provide people data for funding bids as required.
- Liaise with the HRIS provider for all system upgrades and maintenance, scheduling and testing new releases appropriately.
- Participate in HRIS provider network discussions to ensure that BC is maximising understanding of the system and services provided.
Learning and development
- Support all aspects of learning and development within the organisation, including diary management, registration, and monitoring.
- Review and improve content for People Services training materials.
- Maintain and report on records relating to compliance / mandatory training.
- Deliver introductory training in areas of expertise, for example recruitment, sickness absence management and contract changes.
- Act as first point of contact for external training partners and e-learning provider, directing and escalating queries as needed.
- Employee relations, engagement, and wellbeing.
- Update and format organisational policies under the guidance of the People Services Manager.
- Support with the implementation of the annual staff survey.
- Update and maintain the People Services SharePoint site, bringing accuracy and clarity to the content.
- Support on the administration of benefits schemes (e.g. cycle to work scheme).
- Support on people-related events, such as EDI celebrations and recognition awards (as relevant), ensuring inclusivity and efficient organisation.
- Know when to escalate confidential situations to protect individuals and BC.
- Source and support wellbeing activity that meets BC’s and individuals’ needs, including the Employee Assistance Programme.
- Commission Occupational Health reports as required.
- Provide first-line advice to managers on day-to-day people queries, such as sickness absence.
Project work
Undertake projects for People Services that enable continuous improvement of the services and function and self-development in the role.
Contribute to organisation-wide projects from time to time, bringing People expertise to the project team.

Oaklands & St Kilda's is made up of two newly refurbished six-bedroom homes, located close to each other in Ealing, West London. We work with up to 12 young people at a time, providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment. Many of the young people joining us are moving on from hospital, stepping down from more intensive placements, or transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.
We deliver 24-hour trauma-informed and psychologically informed support. As a Specialist Support Worker, you will take a lead role in supporting young people with more complex mental health presentations - using advanced judgement to identify changes in presentation, contribute to risk planning, and confidently engage with clinical professionals to ensure the right interventions are in place.

The Specialist Support Worker role involves early shifts (7:30 - 15:30/8:00 - 16:00) and late shifts (14:00 - 22:00) throughout the week, including some weekends each month.
What you'll bring:
Essential:
Significant experience supporting young people or adults with complex mental health needs, ideally in hospital discharge, step-down or supported accommodation settings.
Strong understanding of risk assessment, safety planning and safeguarding, with confidence to escalate concerns appropriately.
Proven ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and remain calm in high-pressure or crisis situations.
Confident in supporting young people to develop daily living skills, independence and community integration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including accurate recording and information sharing with professionals.
Desirable:
Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care, Psychology, Mental Health, or related field, or equivalent professional training.
Experience contributing to multi-disciplinary meetings such as ward rounds, discharge planning or CPA reviews.
Experience mentoring or supporting the development of less experienced staff.
Experience embedding trauma-informed or psychologically informed practices (PIE, DBT-informed work, recovery approaches).
Lived experience applied professionally and appropriately in a support setting is welcomed.
