Context and Background

The NSPCC’s mission is to end cruelty to children. Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We share it. It drives our Engagement and Fundraising team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse.

Within the Engagement and Fundraising Directorate, our aim is to maximise resources for the NSPCC’s mission by raising funds, providing the best possible supporter experience, and building long-term relationships between donors and our cause. To continue to deliver our mission we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of our annual income.

In a challenging fundraising environment, the need to keep children safe from abuse and neglect remains urgent. The Supporter Management team sits within the Philanthropy & Partnerships Department, established to steward and grow the NSPCC’s ‘High Value’ audience. This function delivers the research, propositions, communications and events that enable fundraisers to build rewarding, long-term relationships with our biggest supporters. 

In this role, you will work with colleagues to identify which events will most attract and motivate high value supporters. You will then design and deliver these, working with external stakeholders where appropriate. Through your work, you will be giving donors the opportunity to understand our work and the difference their support makes. And by doing that, you’ll help to keep hundreds of thousands of children safe.

Main duties and responsibilities

·To manage and deliver a portfolio of engagement and stewardship events, coordinating all event logistics.

·To work closely with the Engagement and Stewardship Manager and the Stewardship Executive to ensure events are integrated with and complement the overall stewardship plan for supporters.

·To manage events budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.

·To ensure that stewardship events are fit-for-purpose through regular evaluation and monitoring of delivery against objectives.

·To collaborate and support departments and teams using engagement events and stewardship in their fundraising by sharing best practice, audience insight, knowledge and contacts.

·To manage relationships with senior volunteers and key supporters in relation to engagement and stewardship events.

·To use creativity to develop a file of the interesting and engaging elements that constitute a successful event (e.g. interesting venues, excellent caterers, etc.).

·To update databases and supporter information systems on a regular basis in line with Data Protection legislation and NSPCC policy and procedures.

Person specification

1.Experience of success in delivering results through managing engagement and stewardship events.

2.Well-developed ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals and teams, both internally and externally and to negotiate and achieve objectives through these relationships.

3.Ability to collect data from various sources, analyse findings, identify opportunities, evaluate their viability and present findings clearly in a way that meets desired outcomes.

4.The ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/ events/ initiatives to agreed deadlines, often with conflicting priorities and demands.

5.Proven ability to demonstrate initiative and creativity to achieve desired outcomes.

6.Ability to pay close attention to detail whilst not losing sight of overall objectives. Willingness to work flexibly in approach to work and/ or work time requirements

7.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage projects, organise and plan own work and the work of others and establish clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives and deadlines. 

8.Proficiency in using Raisers Edge or a comparable CRM package and Windows based software packages including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail and the internet.

9.Ideally, experience of working with high value fundraising. 

10.Experience of managing budgets, adhering to financial constraints, monitoring and forecasting income and expenditure, identifying possible shortfalls or overspends and taking timely and appropriate mitigating action.

Role Overview

This role is central to securing the resources, relationships, and income needed to ensure our Multibank meets rising demand across Scotland while contributing to the wider ambitions of the National Multibank network.

Working to a strategy agreed and developed with the CEO, the Partnerships & Fundraising Manager will build strong corporate, community, and referral partnerships; unlock surplus and donated goods; and secure sustainable income through grants, corporate giving, and strategic collaborations. This is a dynamic, relationship-led role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating opportunities, strengthening networks, and helping drive organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development

• Build and manage strong relationships with businesses, retailers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to secure surplus goods and in-kind support.
• Expand and maintain a network of referral partners, including schools, health professionals, local authorities, and community organisations.
• Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that extend the Multibank’s reach and strengthen supply.
• Identify new partnership opportunities and progress these independently, escalating strategic or high-value decisions to the CEO as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with the National Multibank and Regional Multibank network, building and nurturing strong relationships and contributing to shared partnership and fundraising opportunities.

Fundraising & Income Generation

• Work closely with the CEO to develop and deliver a pipeline of funding opportunities across trusts, foundations, corporate partnerships, and individual supporters.
• Prepare compelling funding proposals, business cases, and impact reports that clearly communicate need and demonstrate value.
• Secure restricted and unrestricted income to support operational costs, cost-price procurement, and strategic initiatives.

Innovation & Strategic Support

• Work closely with the CEO to identify and secure funding for pilot projects and new delivery models.
• Help shape partnership approaches that support test-and-learn innovation, wrap-around support, and new community pathways.
• Represent The Big House at meetings, events, and stakeholder forums, helping raise the profile of the Multibank and its mission.

About the role:

At the heart of Camden’s response to street homelessness, the Rough Sleeping Outreach & Hub Service works across streets, transport hubs and a central support hub to ensure that no one is left facing rough sleeping alone. This is an integrated, borough-wide service focused on early engagement, reducing harm and supporting people to move away from the streets towards safety, accommodation and longer-term stability.

As an Outreach Worker, you’ll be a consistent and trusted presence for people sleeping rough or at risk of rough sleeping. Working flexibly across street outreach and hub-based support on a rota basis, you’ll build meaningful relationships, carry out trauma-aware assessments and coordinate practical support that helps people take their next steps.

You’ll work within a 'No Wrong Door' approach, supporting people wherever and however they engage. That might mean meeting someone early in the morning on outreach, supporting them to access the hub later that day, or working alongside partners to remove barriers that have kept them excluded in the past.

This is a role with variety, challenge and real impact. You’ll respond to complex situations, manage risk thoughtfully, and support people through moments of crisis and change. The work can be unpredictable and includes early, late and weekend shifts as part of a 7-day rota – but you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be supported through reflective practice, supervision and training, as part of a skilled, compassionate and determined team.

Our youth clubs and casework are transformative for young refugees, allowing young people who have fled danger, had traumatic journeys and who are often here alone, to find community and connection, have a space to be a young person and access support in addressing a whole range of practical challenges they face. We also draw on our evidence from working every day with young refugees and asylum seekers to call for change to the laws and policies which are harming young people. 

About the Role

Our youthwork plays an important role in reducing social isolation and loneliness, improving mental health and wellbeing, and creating a sense of belonging.

This includes a wide range of youth and sporting activities across several weekly youth groups, our young women’s groups, trips during the school holidays and annual residentials. Our youth participation approach means that our activities are directly informed by what young people want.

This is an opportunity for a dynamic and creative youth worker to contribute and strengthen our youth development programmes. You will be responsible for planning and delivering youth activities, ensuring that the sessions run smoothly and safely. You will also be responsible for making sure volunteers are supported, giving advice and guidance where necessary.

We’re looking for a Community Development Co-Ordinator to join the team. You will support the direct delivery of our community services that supports male survivors to access connection and peer support activities.

You’ll play a key role in supporting clients, either through facilitating our core groups like builders’ yard, drop ins etc. Community development team also provide check ins for clients to keep them engaged and connected with the organisation. The team also supports one off project where required.

Main Responsibilities

Working as the Head of People & Culture for Citizens UK, reporting to the Executive Director, Finance & Operations, your main responsibilities will include:

People & Culture Strategy

Ensure Citizens UK has the people, capability and organisational shape required to deliver its mission and sustain impact over time.

· Analyse organisational strategy, change priorities and external context to identify their implications for people, capability, structure and ways of working.

· Carry out workforce planning to assess current and future capacity and capability, identifying gaps, risks and realistic options to address them.

· Develop, maintain and refresh the People & Culture strategy so it responds directly to organisational needs and provides clear priorities for action.

The Role

What will I be doing? 

The role oversees: 

• Creation and management of Data governance frameworks 

• Creation and management of Data quality controls and lifecycle management 

• In collaboration with a data warehouse management partner, to design and implement Data ingestion, modelling, warehousing and reporting, using a data discovery audit carried out in 2025

• Vendor delivery and technical oversight 

• Organisation‑wide data literacy and cultural change 

• This includes managing risks; ensuring GDPR and security controls are applied, and enabling teams across all directorates to make informed, data‑driven decisions

Projects you work on may include: 

• Delivery and optimisation of the outsourced data warehouse, including Snowflake architecture and Azure hosting

• Implementation of data ingestion pipelines with a data warehouse partner using tools such Fivetran and transformation workflows using Medallion and Kimball principles

• Establishment of the organisation‑wide data governance model, including catalogues, lineage, role‑based access controls and quality metrics

• Supporting directorates with reporting needs using Power BI and improving data consistency

• Through the use of training partners; upskilling staff and embedding a sustainable data‑driven culture through training and champions

Who will I work with? 

• The outsourced data warehouse supplier team (data engineers, architects, analysts) 

• Internal stakeholders across all five IOP Directorates to support consistent data governance and quality

• IT colleagues including the IT Manager, Infrastructure Engineer, Salesforce Product Manager, AV Technician, and Application Change & Risk Manager

• Project Managers and governance leads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, compliance, and risk standards

Ideally, we hope you’ll apply if your skills include: 

Essential Criteria 

• Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data modelling (Kimball), and Medallion architecture 

• Demonstrable experience managing vendors delivering hosted or managed data warehouse solutions

• Ability to establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, data catalogues and security models

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non‑technical stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

 Nice to have 

• Experience with Snowflake, Azure, Fivetran (or similar), Power BI, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code

• Familiarity with GDPR and data security standards

• Certification in Data Governance (e.g., DAMA) or evidence of continued professional development

• Experience embedding culture change or delivering organisation‑wide training 

• Understanding of IOP’s mission and the importance of physics for public benefit

How will I be working?

About the role

As Portfolio Support Finance Business Partner, you will provide strategic financial leadership to Save the Children UK's restricted portfolio, ensuring donor funds are planned, monitored and reported effectively, compliantly and sustainably.

You will deliver high-quality financial insight, manage risk, strengthen controls and support confident decision-making, while building strong partnerships across programme and finance teams and representing SCUK Finance in donor and external forums.

In this role, you will:

• Provide financial insight and performance oversight across a portfolio of donor-funded awards, delivering monthly reporting, trend analysis and reviews with programme teams to inform strategic decisions.

• Lead risk management and compliance assurance, maintaining strong financial controls, audit readiness and accurate financial data across systems to safeguard donor funds and maintain confidence.

• Manage budgeting and forecasting processes for donor proposals and awards, ensuring robust financial planning and appropriate direct and indirect cost recovery.

• Oversee cashflow and income management, ensuring timely donor claims, accurate billing (including payment-by-results awards) and sufficient liquidity to support uninterrupted programme delivery.

About you

• A recognised accounting qualification or equivalent professional experience, ideally within the charity, development or humanitarian sector.

Key Responsibility: To provide administrative support across the Communities and Inclusion team.

We are seeking a Communities and Inclusion Assistant to support the Communities and Inclusion team at BES. The team works across a range of areas, including grants, membership, volunteering and education to engage with ecology in meaningful ways.

This is a new role within BES and a fantastic opportunity to engage with the world’s oldest ecological society. You will gain experience across multiple areas of the organisation’s work while playing a key administrative support role.

Responsibilities:

Community Groups

We support over 25 active community groups. The role will include:

• Administering the Community Groups inbox and acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries from current and prospective community groups.
• Supporting the BES Community Groups team in their work, including attending monthly meetings and providing meeting notes.
• Assisting community groups with recruitment to their committees.

Grants

We award over £500,000 in grant funding every year. The role will include

• Administering the Grants inbox.
• Supporting the administration of our grant portfolio, including collating of reviewer scores and EDI data monitoring via the grants database.
• Managing the in-house training and travel grant awarding process.
• Attend Grants committee meetings, taking minutes as required.

Membership

We have over 8000 members. The role will include

• Administering the Membership inbox and responding to members enquiries
• Updating and maintaining daily CRM tasks related to joining, renewals, cancellation requests and payment processes to ensure accurate membership data.
• Updating and maintaining accurate Membership KPI tracking.
• Attending Membership committee, taking minutes as required.

About the role

The Senior Legacy Manager will lead the development and delivery of London’s Air Ambulance Charity’s legacy programme, ensuring legacy giving is embedded across fundraising and marketing activity and is front of mind across the organisation.

This role is responsible for managing our legacy marketing programme, working closely with the marketing team to deliver compelling, sensitive and effective activity. The postholder will also oversee our outsourced legacy administration partner, ensuring legacy gifts are processed efficiently, compliantly and in line with best practice, through regular performance monitoring and review.

Working across the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate, the Senior Legacy Manager will champion legacies as a vital form of support, collaborating closely with all teams in the directorate. This will include working with the major donor team to identify and develop high-value legacy opportunities and supporting the community engagement team to integrate in-memory and legacy messaging into the community talks programme and engagement activity within the community.
