About the role

As our Repairs Reporting Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that improve the way we deliver repairs services. You’ll:

• Analyse repairs performance data and produce clear, actionable reports - weekly, monthly, and beyond.
• Track key metrics like volumes, work in progress (WIP), and overdue repairs across national and regional levels.
• Work closely with contractors and internal teams to ensure accuracy and drive improvements.
• Move beyond reactive reporting – help us spot trends, identify opportunities, and shape a proactive approach to repairs.
• Support the integrity of our reporting systems and resolve any issues quickly.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £31,313 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

About you

• Proven experience in a maintenance/responsive repairs management environment.
• Proficient in advanced Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, array formulas, handling large datasets (100k rows), building reports from scratch with charts, and ideally experience with Macros, VBA, and Power Query for automation.
• Awareness of payment processes, invoice management, and reconciliation.
• Ability to analyse and manipulate data, and present clear, concise reports.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams to improve service delivery.
• Numeracy and literacy skills with the confidence to use housing management and operational software.

ROLE PURPOSE:

A key member of the finance and financial accounts teams, supporting colleagues and the wider charity by taking responsibility for maintaining elements of the financial records of the charity.

Ensuring compliance with technical and legal requirements, safeguarding the assets of the charity.

Generating data that will allow for informed decisions to be made, maximising the impact that the charity can achieve for people effected by disasters.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join our busy team and to help provide a great finance service. You will have excellent attention to detail, good knowledge of finance processes and work well as part of a busy team. Having great organisational skills, you will be able to manage multiple tasks at the same time, work proactively and be a good communicator.

You will have experience in working in a finance team. Main core duty will be maintaining the purchase ledger. Shared tasks will be expected for payroll (training will be given). The individual may hold AAT qualification or be qualified by experience.

DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

Maintain Financial Records

• As part of the Financial Accounts team (two Finance Officers and the Financial Controller) take a share of the responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the charity, ensuring compliance with processes and technical and legal requirements, and safeguarding the assets of the charity.
• Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in operating or using/getting benefits from the outputs from your areas of responsibility.

Areas of responsibility will include: -

• Processing and payment of invoices and bank transfers, including foreign and urgent payments.
• Processing of donations from journals generated from the CRM system, reconciling to bank receipts, and resolving any queries or discrepancies in collaboration with the Supporter Care team.
• Bank and petty cash recording and reconciliation. Including bank account reconciliation on a weekly basis, petty cash and foreign currency. Submission of bank reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.
• Enter expected cash outgoings into weekly cash flow document.
• Credit Card and Expense Claims (detailed below)
• Process Payroll (detailed below)
• Purchase and sale of foreign currency as discussed with Financial Controller.
• Monthly gift aid submission including generation of Gift Aid submissions, complete pre-claim checks, submission and reconciliation to receipts from HMRC. Submission of draft gift aid submission for approval by Financial Controller.
• Month End - (detailed below)
• Year End - As instructed by the Financial Controller generate reports and information to support preparation of annual report and audit file. Answer audit queries provided by the charities auditors.
• Maintenance of the organisation's fixed asset register, posting journals for depreciation, acquisitions and disposals.
• Monitoring of finance inbox and support organisation with requests for financial information.
• Provide Support to organisation with procurement and purchase ledger system Focal point.
• Update projects/funds on Dimensions.
• Maintaining accounting records for our subsidiary company, ShelterBox Trading.

Credit Card and Expense Claims

• Maintenance of the Company Credit cards, submitting requests for new cards, adjusting credit limits and cancellation of cards.
• Download credit card transactions and upload to Continia Expense system and submit to credit card holders for completion of expenses.
• Review, approve and post to finance system credit card expenses and claims for expenses using Continia expense system.
• The issuing and reconciliation of cash advances for ShelterBox Response teams.
• Provision of new credit cards for Staff/ShelterBox Response team's and deal with any issues.

Payroll

• Processing the monthly payroll with information provided by HR Department using Payroll Software and initiating payment and payslips to staff.
• Monthly submission of payroll reports to HMRC and process payment of PAYE, NI and student loans to HMRC.
• Maintenance of the company pension scheme, uploading details of monthly contributions. Dealing with issues and queries around this.
• Monthly reconciliation of payroll control accounts.
• Providing support to the HR team around pay, pension, loans etc

Month End

• Assist with timely month end process by completing work to meet monthly deadlines.
• Monthly reconciliation of income between CRM and Dimensions.
• Produce month end reconciliations for approval by Financial Controller.

Special Projects:

• Provide support to the Finance Team Managers and Director of Finance including undertaking special projects as requested.
• Providing financial team support on cross departmental projects as required.

Other responsibilities

• Any other duties as required which are deemed appropriate to the level and grade of the post.

At our rehoming, advice & behaviour unit in Devon, our foster-based care and Home Direct Scheme ensures animals find loving homes without the stress of kennels. This means that we do not usually have pets staying onsite overnight and our roles may not include daily pet care, but no two days are ever the same. 

As Centre Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the Centre – pets, people, compliance and finances. Working closely with your Assistant Managers, you’ll inspire and empower your team, embed a culture of continuous improvement and ensure the highest welfare standards. 

This role is about leading people and delivering the strategy for the Devon centre. We have a skilled, passionate team, we need someone who can build great relationships and continue to meet the objectives of the centre. 

For many, the Centre will be the “public face” of Blue Cross so you will need to ensure that customer service is at the heart of every interaction. About the role
We are recruiting for a Legacy Giving Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a permanent contract. This is a home-based role, within South East England (covering Kent, West Sussex, East Sussex, Hampshire & Surrey), with frequent travel across the region and to our Head Office in Central London.

As Legacy Giving Officer you will be responsible for developing and managing all legacy giving activities within the South East region. You’ll represent the Society, raise our profile and promote legacy giving in the region. You’ll work collaboratively across departments and directorates at all levels to maximise promotion of legacy giving opportunities to both internal and external audiences.

You’ll be the lead contact for the warmest legacy enquiries in the region and though a framework of excellent stewardship, you will ensure that supporters are converted up through the legacy cycle. In this role you’ll be the trusted guide for individuals considering leaving a gift in their will, helping them feel valued, informed, and inspired every step of the way.

Interviews for this role have been provisionally scheduled to take place on Friday 6th and Monday 9th February.

About you
Joining us, you will have good customer service skills with experience in a sales, marketing, fundraising or similar role, with the ability to interact positively with a wide range of audiences. - Responding to enquiries from supporters in the region interested in leaving a gift in their will or wanting to know more about our will writing offers by phone, email or via in-person meetings in an agreed time frame.
- Planning, delivering, hosting and presenting at legacy events including post-event follow up stewardship activity.
- Developing and implementing new regional opportunities to promote legacy giving both internally and externally.
- Meeting agreed annual targets relating to legacy promotion and will writing promotion and the number of promised legacies from individual supporters.
- Developing and delivering the stewardship plan ensuring ongoing engagement with all legators and enquirers by upgrading and conversion through the legacy cycle: enquirer, considerer, intender, pledger.
-  Identifying and establishing relationships with key Ambassadors who are passionate about legacy giving.

About the role

We are looking for a Welfare Benefits Adviser to work alongside the Senior Benefits Adviser, providing welfare benefits advice to people affected by ME/CFS, fibromyalgia and long Covid; this includes those living with these illnesses, carers and their families.

We endeavour to improve people’s financial situation more widely, especially due to the cost of living crisis, so you will be offered the opportunity to create resources and host drop-in sessions for members. 

Main duties and responsibilities 

• Provide a full welfare benefits casework service for people affected by ME, fibromyalgia and long Covid, including disability benefits and other sources of financial support, such as grants. This will cover benefits check, first claims, mandatory reconsiderations and appeals; supporting clients to understand their options and making informed choices.

• Act for the client where necessary; drafting letters, obtaining medical evidence and researching case law as appropriate.

• Maintain detailed case records for the purpose of continuity of casework, and information retrieval, using the IT software provided.

• Liaise and negotiate with other statutory and voluntary organisations to progress the client’s case and ensure they receive all assistance available. (DWP, NHS, local authorities, other charities)

• Form effective working relationships with outreach agencies and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that good service is being provided and awareness of the illnesses is raised.

• Refer clients to colleagues or other agencies as appropriate for specialist help with major issues that fall outside the remit of the service, including debt and employment.

• Support the promotion and marketing of the advice services of Sheffield ME & Fibromyalgia Group

• Collect feedback from members for service improvement and for our funders

• Contribute to team meetings, reflective practice sessions and work with colleagues to ensure members access support from across our offering (befriending, activities, support groups)

• Any other duties within the scope of the post as deemed appropriate

As the Service Manager in our Shooters Hill service, you’ll lead an accommodation service supporting young people aged 16+ as they navigate housing, independence and what comes next. The Grants Coordinator is a key role within the ABCT team. Key responsibilities

• Grants Administration: Manage all aspects of the grants cycle, including applications, payments, reporting, and enquiries, while maintaining accurate records on Salesforce and liaising with suppliers and the Finance team.
• Database and website management: Maintain and enhance Salesforce grant management processes, ensure accurate data for reporting, and keep the Trust's website updated and effective.
• Office and team administration: Provide efficient administrative support for the team and board, including diary and travel management, process documentation, GDPR compliance, and assistance with projects and events.
• Be a supportive first point of contact for all who contact the organisation

The Grants Coordinator will need to be a team player who can work collaboratively and add value to the work. You will need to genuinely enjoy administration, be interested in ABCT's priority areas, and like building relationships. You will have emotional intelligence, and will enjoy being part of a small, friendly team. You will need experience of working with a range administrative systems and processes, be a good communicator and team player, and be flexible, organised, and have a demonstrable passion for our work. We are recruiting for a Legacy Partnerships Officer to join on a full-time basis, working 35 hours per week on a fixed term contract for 9 months. This is a home-based role, though you will need to be based in the Midlands, North East or North West of England, or Northern Ireland AND be willing to travel across that area for events as required.

As the Legacy Partnerships Officer (North) you will represent Alzheimer’s Society, raise our profile, and promote legacy giving to our Will writing partners and legal professionals to secure future income for the charity. Oasis St Martin’s Village

Oasis St Martins Village is part of Oasis which is a group of organisations, committed to building stronger communities. Oasis St Martin’s Village, based in Tulse Hill, is a new and exciting project, working in partnership with other organisations in an integrated way, to provide opportunity and pathways for children and young people.

The vision of the Village is to transform the life-chances of children, who are struggling in or not coping with mainstream education, by offering them and their families support and opportunity.

Our work is based around the principle that “it takes a village to raise a child”.

Oasis Nurture

Oasis Nurture is a project that is carried out on the Village. It is a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for those children who might be described as the missing middle – those who do not meet the threshold for an ECHP but who nevertheless struggle to engage with the curriculum for a variety of reasons.

Oasis Nurture is in its pilot phase, working with four local schools, offering a two day a week intervention to a small group of children.

As a Teacher, you will be working with a maximum of six children supported by a key worker and a therapeutic practitioner. You will work alongside a therapeutic lead and a clinical lead.

In this role you will be:

· Working with the home school and parents/carers to understand the children’s needs and developing agreed goals for learning and emotional and social development

· Developing a basic curriculum for Key Stage 2 children for numeracy and literacy, related to their stage learning at their home school, so that they don’t fall behind.

· Providing a personalised, bespoke and restorative approach for each individual child to help address their challenges and fulfil their potential. 

· Maintaining clear and accurate records for individual children on the designated online systems and reporting back to the home school and parents/carers on the agreed goals

· You will also be working with the Therapeutic Lead to provide opportunities for mindful therapeutic care to remove barriers to learning and provide emotional support to access the curriculum. While this role requires primary teaching experience it also requires someone who has experience of working in trauma responsive ways and understands the therapeutic needs of children who struggle to engage.

Oasis Nurture is not an Alternative Provision; it is a part time intervention designed to support local schools and children and their families.
