Purpose of Role
As EMDR Counsellor, you will provide EMDR therapy, counselling and practical support interventions to boys, men and non-binary people who have been raped, sexually abused or assaulted. This will involve understanding people’s needs and work out the best sources of support for them, offering resources, coping strategies, and facilitating signposting to internal and external sources of expert help.
The people served include those with clinical mental health diagnoses, drug and alcohol dependencies, at risk of suicide, homelessness or involved in the sex industry. You will need to be a highly skilled counsellor/practitioner with experience of dealing with very vulnerable clients, willing to work flexibly and on your own initiative. Importantly, you will be a compassionate person, able to blend therapeutic work with practical support and care.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide EMDR therapy, counselling and practical support interventions to boys, men and non-binary people who have been raped, sexually abused or assaulted with high levels of need and who are most vulnerable.
- Deliver counselling interventions by phone, video calling and face-to-face
- Maintain accurate and timely client case notes, ensuring adherence to confidentiality, safeguarding and data protection procedures.
- With clients, develop action plans to help them address emotional and practical needs and ensure clients can engage with a flexible service.
- Monitor individual client’s progress through the outcomes monitoring framework.
- Where appropriate, and within safeguarding and data protection policies, collate qualitative client stories for reporting back to funders, evidencing need and service user opinion.
- As a member of a small team, contribute to the development of new initiatives and services in response to client need.

Overview
At Operation Smile UK, we work with global colleagues to improve the lives of those living with cleft conditions around the world – by providing surgery and comprehensive care services to patients and strengthening health care systems in the countries where we work. Operation Smile UK’s Partnerships Team works to maximise high-potential income channels such as corporate partnerships, major donors and trusts and foundations. The Partnerships and Philanthropy Officer will play a key role in the team securing critical income from global and national corporate partners and from our network of committed community fundraisers.
We are looking for a candidate who thrives on building relationships – with partners and with colleagues in the UK and around the world. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate Fundraising
· Take the lead on managing a portfolio of small and medium corporate partners - taking responsibility for all aspects of these partnerships, including communication, staff activities, events, reporting, income collection and acknowledgements

• Maintain a detailed contact list for all AKF (UK) employees and keep it up to date
• Keep the AKF (UK) Emergency WhatsApp group up to date and share emergency messages as required

The Role
The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.
You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.
Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.
The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
- Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
- Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
- Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
- Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities
- Prepare and present written, financial and statistical reports to internal and external bodies as required and ensure funders requirements are met

What we need from you
A good understanding of HACT's Wellbeing Valuation and Social Value Insight would be an advantage, but this is not essential. It would be great if you have some knowledge or experience of working in communities, supply chains and or, monitoring and evaluation.

Kempton Steam Museum, operated by Kempton Great Engines Trust, is home to the world's largest operational triple-expansion steam engine, which supplied water to much of London until 1980. Our project, Kempton: Clean Water for Life - reaching a wider audience, is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we aim to transform Kempton Steam Museum’s engagement with visitors and the local community, while enhancing support for volunteers and care of collections.
The part-time Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating the volunteers who support the museum's operations, engineering activities and visitor experience. They will develop documentation including a volunteer agreement, handbook and role profiles and ensure that volunteers are effectively integrated into the museum's activities and that their contributions are recognised and valued. As part of this project we are also recruiting a Museum Operations & Project Manager (two days per week) and a Curatorial Assistant (one day per week). The Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Museum Operations & Project Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:
· Proven experience in volunteer coordination and recruitment or a related field, preferably in museums or the wider cultural or charity sector
· Excellent organisational and communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse groups

· Enthusiastic about the museum’s mission
· Ability to inspire and motivate volunteers
· Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and priorities
· Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact
Working arrangements:
· Flexible hours
· Some weekend work may be required
· There may be scope for some working at home, although much of the work will be directly with and volunteers and need to be carried out on site.
