We are seeking a Programme Lead (Christian Young Leaders and General Synod Young Voices)
This role requires close coordination with Programme Leads in the Growing Faith/Young Leaders team and partnership working across NCI departments. It mainly supports two interconnected national initiatives aimed at developing young Christian leaders:
1. Christian Young Leaders Programme
- Aims to equip and commission 2,500 young leaders (Years 9-13) for mission and ministry with children and young people by 2028.
- Contributes 15% toward the Church of England's broader goal of training 30,000 leaders by 2030.
- Developed in collaboration with Vision & Strategy, Ministry teams, and parachurch partners.
- Engages young people from church, youthwork, and educational settings.
2. General Synod Young Voices Project
- Responds to General Synod motions committing to youth voice inclusion in every session.
- Facilitates youth participation through National Young Leadership Groups and partnerships with schools, churches, and dioceses.
- Supports a leadership development programme for young adults from each diocese to influence both national and diocesan levels.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Beacon is now in its second decade and has grown substantially over the last three years, including a rebrand and expansion into international projects. To support this growth, we are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and intuitive Admin & Operations Officer to help ensure the smooth running of our daily activities and core functions.
This varied role spans many aspects of our work, from administration and resource management to supporting the systems and tools that keep Beacon working efficiently. You’ll work across the charity, supporting our executive leadership, projects teams, and fundraising activities, as well as and ensuring colleagues have the information and resources they need to deliver for our beneficiaries.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the charity and in supporting senior staff. As you settle into the role, you’ll have opportunities to develop skills in areas such as financial management, executive support, relationship management, stewardship, or project logistics, depending on your interests and the charity’s needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone at an early stage of their career, with full training and support provided. You’ll gain experience with a wide range of platforms and processes – from finance tools, databases, and information management – making it a great foundation for building broad, transferable skills in the charity sector. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Organisational administration
- Lead on day-to-day operational processes to ensure the efficient running of the organisation.
- Provide executive support to the CEO and COO, including diary coordination, scheduling, and meeting logistics.
- Oversee internal financial processes, including processing expenses and invoices, documenting charity income and outgoings, ensuring accurate record keeping, and liaising with our external accounting team.
- Coordinate team activities such as strategy days, team-building events, and the annual Christmas party.
- Support HR-related processes such as managing staff anniversaries, birthdays, departures, and basic record-keeping.
- Act as liaison between the CEO and Board of Trustees as required.
- Collaborate with building management to ensure smooth operation of office facilities.
Fundraising administration
- Provide administrative support for funding applications and reports, including document preparation and submission.
- Monitor timelines and deadlines for all fundraising-related commitments, ensuring requirements are met.
- Maintain accurate fundraising records, keeping donor and income information up to date in our systems.
- Liaise with fundraising partners, sponsors, and donors as required.
N.B. The fundraising aspect of this role is focused on providing administrative and logistical support. This is not a fundraising position, and applicants are not expected to be responsible for income generation.
Team-wide support
- Monitor and respond to incoming enquiries via phone, email, and the Contact Us form, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Process and respond to volunteer applications, maintaining accurate records and liaising with applicants as required.
- Manage organisational resources, including internal supplies and external materials, monitoring stock levels and coordinating reorders.
- Provide office management support to ensure a well-functioning, well-resourced working environment.

Occasional duties

About the role
At the heart of our operations, our exceptional Regional Casework Coordinators serve as the primary point of contact for members of the armed forces community reaching out to our Regional Offices for support.
In this dynamic role, no two days are the same. You may be supporting individuals in distress over the phone, managing email and voicemail communications, collaborating with volunteers on complex casework, building strong relationships with local authorities and charitable organisations, or working closely with internal services to secure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support them. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensuring that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the East of England region in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, or Essex.
You will occasionally be required to travel around the region or further afield, to attend face to face meetings or training events.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA. You will initially be required to attend an in-person caseworkers’ course which may require an overnight stay.

Reporting to the Regional Casework Manager our Casework Coordinators, together with our Volunteer Caseworkers, work remotely within the regional office area. With beneficiaries at the heart of everything we do, team members pride themselves in building and maintaining close working relationships to ensure the smooth operation of the office. The wider regional support team includes a Regional Manager, Volunteer Development Manager and a Community Engagement Manager.

What you will need to succeed
You will have demonstrable and applied experience in a data analyst role and hold an appropriate qualification in a relevant subject. You will be familiar and confident in using data visualisation tools and programming languages to manipulate, analyse and present data.

About the role
This is a newly created role to provide extra capacity within the finance function at STOPAIDS. We are looking for someone with previous finance experience, ideally within a charity. The Finance Administrator is responsible for supporting the maintenance of financial and administrative services working closely with the Finance Manager to meet legislative and policy requirements and to support the operations of STOPAIDS. These duties include but are not limited to Xero Accounts functions, assisting with payroll and processing invoices and financial transactions.
STOPAIDS is a fully remote organisation, so the postholder would be working from home, but the team is very connected and collaborative, so there will be plenty of contact and support.
Hours: Part-time, one day or 2 half days per week (0.25 FTE).
Location: Home based in the UK. Occasional attendance at all staff meetings in London (normally 4 days annually).

This is a pivotal moment to be joining the CDFI sector. Responsible Finance and CDFIs are poised for exciting growth following two record-breaking funding announcements in late 2024 which has seen the sector backed by Government and leading financial institutions including the British Business Bank and JPMorgan Chase. This follows Lloyds Banking Group becoming the first mainstream lender to invest in the CDFI sector earlier in the year.
This new funding will enable business-lending CDFIs to scale their reach and impact, supporting economic growth and financial inclusion across the UK. Successful candidates will play a vital role in helping to make sure that CDFIs are supported to build their operational capacity and maximise the opportunity this brings.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate to help us to deliver an ambitious Capacity Building programme for our business-lending CDFIs and support our wider and growing member base. You will support Programme Managers to effectively deliver key projects within both the Capacity Building programme and more broadly support our small team to deliver outstanding service to CDFIs across the personal, micro, business and social enterprise lending sectors. The Role
The Project Support Officer will assist in the delivery of key projects and support the Programme Director and Programme Managers in ensuring the smooth running of a Programme Management Office (PMO) at Responsible Finance.
The role holder will support the timely and quality delivery of projects and programmes, including playing a key role in producing timely information and reports, and ensuring the smooth running of programme meetings and boards.
Just as importantly the role-holder will also support the wider Responsible Finance team to deliver key projects and ongoing support to our members and provide high quality administrative support where required.
The role-holder will also be responsible for ensuring that Responsible Finance’s onboarding process is followed for all new CDFIs, to ensure that they receive high quality and timely support at the start of their membership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting aspects of Responsible Finance’s communications activity including generating content for and distributing the member newsletter, as well as supporting the effective delivery of events and website updates.
- Ensuring the smooth running of an important and high-profile bank referral pilot project, monitoring email referrals and data entry with a high level of attention to detail, accuracy and timelines.
- Assisting in the delivery of key work streams and projects, including the monitoring and reporting of grants to support capacity building.
- Supporting Programme Managers to monitor project progress, produce and maintain high-quality project documentation (plans, risk and issues registers, etc.) to support effective delivery.
- Supporting the effective and smooth running of project and programme meetings across Responsible Finance, including schedule and arranging, developing documentation, and effective minute taking.

The Choir with No Name has been running choirs involving people impacted by homelessness and marginalisation since 2008, and we currently have choirs in Birmingham, Liverpool, London, Cardiff, Coventry, Sheffield and Brighton. We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join our team of nearly 100 staff, ideally before the end of 2025.
This is a full-time, home-based, permanent position. You can be based anywhere in mainland UK or Ireland, with some travel and occasional overnight stays to meeting and conferences mainly in England and Wales.

The Finance Director (“FD”) works alongside the Chief Executive and Operations Director to manage the finances and governance of The Rivers Trust, a leading conservation charity with three associated trading subsidiaries operating across the UK and Ireland, with a collective annual income approaching £10m.
Given the prospective retirement of the current postholder at the end of 2025, we are seeking a well-qualified and experienced individual to take on this senior leadership role as soon as possible to enable handover to occur.
The role is very varied and wide-ranging, including presenting financial information to the Trustees and senior management on a quarterly basis, reviewing monthly management accounts, leading on annual budgeting, appraising internal project concepts and contracts, statutory compliance administration and liaising with auditors.
The postholder will lead a team of eight in the Finance department and join a very welcoming team of 95 highly engaged and passionate staff at The Rivers Trust.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Working alongside the CEO, the Finance Director will provide commercial, financial and governance management and leadership for The Rivers Trust ("the Charity") and its associated subsidiaries (“The Companies”). The FD will not only be an exceptional accountant, with executive oversight of the finance function, but will be commercially astute and have the confidence to represent robustly the best interests of The Companies. The FD will also be an experienced manager of people.
Key Accountabilities:
- Act as a business partner to support and constructively challenge the CEO in the general management of the Charity and the Companies, reporting to the board.
- Lead all aspects of the finance function (including maintaining and developing the financial control environment; robust financial accounting; cashflow management; incisive management information; clear and concise reporting to Board) to ensure that the Charity and the Companies’ assets are secured, risks are managed, and the Board of Trustees, subsidiary boards and committees can make well-informed decisions.
- Manage relationships with auditors, funders, IT specialists, banks, investment platforms and other external organisations.
- Provide support to project bids and the development of other commercial opportunities to ensure that bids/opportunities are optimised for the Charity and the Companies as a whole.

We are looking for someone to create engaging multimedia content and copy, and build and nurture positive community engagement. The successful candidate will work with colleagues to forward plan activity, and develop, schedule and evaluate social media content that communicates the charity’s work in this area to new and existing audiences.
This role will report into the Social Media Innovation Manager.
This is a permanent role, for 5 days per week/35 hours per week. The salary for this position is £30,000 - £32,000 per annum.

Can you assist the Shop Manager in driving sales and profits and able to work closely with staff and Volunteers to ensure we deliver the best level of customer service.

- Co-ordinate complex referrals and help families access financial and practical assistance.
- Build partnerships with health, education, and voluntary sector organisations to widen support for families.
- Support data collection, reporting, and service improvement to strengthen our work and measure impact.

- Experience working with children, young people, or families with complex needs in health, social care or voluntary settings.
- Strong organisational skills to co-ordinate services across multiple regions.
