Prospectus is pleased to support our client, a charity dedicated to helping people experiencing homelessness through training and meaningful work opportunities. They are seeking a temporary Finance Assistant, expected to start on Monday, 16th June, on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). The role offers flexible working hours between 8am and 6pm, with the option to distribute hours across Monday to Saturday to suit, with a standard 30-minute lunch break. This is a fully onsite role based in Plumstead, near Woolwich, and will continue on a temporary basis while the charity recruits for the position permanently. Please note that the role will be paid on an hourly basis through the agency, with payment made via weekly timesheets, and the hourly rate will be equivalent to the annual salary offered, which falls within a salary bracket depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Process invoices, expenses, and payments promptly using QuickBooks and other systems
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile bank accounts, and manage supplier and customer accounts
• Set up and process electronic payments
• Handle income, donations, payroll inputs, HMRC payments, and credit control
• Provide first-line finance and administrative support across the organisation
• Prepare financial reports, support audits, and ensure adherence to financial procedures
• Assist with small projects and contribute to improving finance processes

Requirements:
 

• Confident in processing financial transactions with essential experience using QuickBooks
• Experience and confident in setting up and making electronic payments
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and communication skills
• Reliable, consistent, and methodical in your approach
• The ability to work independently after initial training
• Comfortable working under pressure and in a people-facing environment, with strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• A Basic DBS check will be required, which will be arranged by the agency

Support Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. We are looking for an innovative, passionate, and professional individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join the Stroke Recovery Service based in Crewe.

Position: S11268 Stroke Support Coordinator

Location: Home-based/Crewe, Cheshire. However, extensive travel will be required as part of this role (may include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Salary: Circa £16,461 per annum (FTE circa £27,400 per annum)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week

Contract: Permanent. Services are contracted and there is currently funding for this contract until 31 March 2026.

The Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Coach, you will have the ability to support stroke survivors to identify their goals. Using strong assessment skills and a person-centred approach enabling them to maximise their recovery and improve communication.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.
• Provide personalised information, advice and support.
• Supporting stroke survivors to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes.

You will have experience in:

Ways of Working:

ABOUT THE ROLE 

This role builds on the work of our Feminist Green New Deal  project. The Feminist Green New Deal puts the needs and priorities of women, racialised and marginalised groups at the heart of all climate policy and action and advocates for a care-led green recovery from our multiple crises of climate breakdown and inequality. The role will continue to develop our Feminist Green New Deal work engaging new audiences, stakeholders and writing new policy papers. 

As a Feminist Climate Justice Policy Campaigner you will make connections with policy makers, government departments, NGOs and influencers, bringing an intersectional feminist lens to these spaces. You will need to keep up to speed with UK climate policies and how these impact women. 

Wen works at the grassroots and policy level ensuring that grassroots perspectives are part of and shape climate policy making so a key part of the role will be linking these two levels.  You will work closely with our Climate Sisters  programme and the Tower Hamlets Food Partnership which inform our Feminist Green New Deal policy asks and campaigns, advocating for inclusive climate policy rooted in the priorities of women,  particularly racialised and marginalised groups.  We are looking to recruit a policy campaigner with in-depth  knowledge of the policy systems and strategic thinking about how to advocate for feminist climate justice at local, regional and national level in the UK working in collaboration with others.

Key responsibilities:

• Bring an intersectional feminist climate justice lens to policy makers and debates with a focus on climate, health, food justice and environmental policies

• Work collaboratively with Wen’s Climate Sisters team to make strong connections between the grassroots and policy, drafting and devising policy responses to influence government climate policy

• Develop strategic partnerships and relationships with MPs, government departments, All Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs), Ministers, Select Committees and key organisations in this field

• Submit evidence to Select Committee reports, inquiries and input into draft bills

• Actively engage with civil society movements around climate justice and policy

• Produce a variety of resources on the issues such as policy briefings, blogs, social media posts and talks

This is an exciting role working within a pioneering new project, which will complement and support the work of the Pan-London Navigators in helping clients with an extensive history of rough sleeping to sustain accommodation in the community and build a new life away from the streets. • Work alongside Navigators to support clients on the LNT cohort who are moving into tenancies to set up home, build independent living skills and establish meaningful connections to help them settle in their accommodation long-term

If so, St Giles is looking for an Emergency Department Specialist Caseworker to join us and work on a vital hospital-based service aimed at vulnerable 12 to 25-year-olds who attend the adult or paediatric A&E departments or Urgent Care Centres at Northwick Park Hospital.  Here, you will provide vital support for those young people admitted to emergency departments right through to their discharge back into the community.

About this key role

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to identify and assess young victims of violence, you will also provide support, advice and advocacy for children, young people and their families as they plan to be discharged from hospital back into the community.  You will produce support and risk management plans based on your assessments and also deliver a holistic support service, working solo or with colleagues as the situation dictates, to each client.  This will include providing practical guidance with social and housing support, accompanying to appointments, ETE options, benefits work, debt advice, DIY work and cleaning.

We will also count on you to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies, including community-based services such as police, children’s services and local authorities, while closing cases efficiently and positively, identifying a referral route for children and young people that will identify agencies that can be used for ongoing support and agencies that can be used if serious problems develop in the future is also an essential aspect of the role.

What we are looking for

• Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families

• Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and of using support plans

• Substantial experience of assessing the needs of CYP who are at risk of significant harm

• Proven record of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people

• A working knowledge of relevant services for young people and their families in the service provision area (mainly North and West London but potentially further

This service sits within our Complex Needs and Community Services and are informal drop-in group for Refugees and Asylum Seekers. To help these individuals engage with diverse creative activities and develop their confidence and self-esteem whilst helping them integrate into Hertfordshire and the UK.

Service Objectives

• To provide advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients with mental ill health.
• Support to build social networks and reduce isolation whilst settling into the Hertfordshire community this includes building a sustainable and empowering peer support network and building confidence and self-esteem.
• To ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
• Embed a person centred and solution focused approach in all aspects of the role.
• To work in a trauma informed way including awareness of the 6 principles of trauma informed practice, putting the clients emotional and practical needs at the forefront of this work.

Key Responsibilities:

• The purpose of this post is to promote and facilitate our Flourish peer support groups.

Details of the role

You will design and deliver Jangala’s monitoring, evaluation and data analysis activities. The role will report to Jangala’s Head of Programmes and be a member of the Jangala’s programmes department which leads on the delivery of Jangala’s donor-funded programmes in the UK and internationally, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing partnerships with community groups and grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities and the United Nations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing Jangala’s M&E and data analysis systems across UK and international projects, aligning with our 2030 Vision and Theory of Change, as well as donor requirements

• Leading the design and implementation of both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, including structured surveys, stakeholder interviews and case studies, ensuring methods are ethical and appropriate for diverse contexts

• Developing pipelines and scripts (primarily in Python) to analyse and interpret device telemetry data - eg. usage patterns, uptime, throughput and context-specific behaviours - across tens of thousands of devices operating in a variety of contexts

• Integrating qualitative findings with telemetry and survey data to develop a holistic understanding of impact, progress against indicators and our Theory of Change

• Collecting and analysing data and feedback from partners, end users and stakeholders eg. interviews, surveys and the development of case studies

• Collaborate with delivery partners and external stakeholders  to carry out M & E activities and report creation

• Ensuring the secure and organised storage of M&E data and supporting system improvements for capture and access

• Supporting fundraising and communications through evidence-based storytelling and impact narratives

The person we're looking for

Art Matters Studio Arts Facilitator

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Salary: £26,820 (pro rata) inclusive per annum

Waythrough’s community arts studio Art Matters requires a creative individual with an arts background to join our team.

You will have an arts background, qualifications and skills in a range of arts activities and will be involved in supporting attending artists to explore their creative interests during sessions and workshops.

The Role

As part of a small team, you will be required to work closely with colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations. You will need to be flexible and positive and take ownership of tasks and deadlines.

Alongside the team you will enjoy your responsibilities in keeping the studio safe. You will support the implementation of Waythrough’s health and safety polices and carry out risk assessments as needed.

Mainly studio based, you may be required at times to work in an outreach capacity at other Surrey-based community hubs delivering workshops, exhibitions and arts and mental health promotion with occasional out of hours and weekend working.

You will support people to maintain a healthy state of wellbeing through creativity in achieving their creative goals. 

Skills and Qualifications
