About the role

Key Responsibilities

The Supporter Database Officer is responsible for supporting the effective operation of MAP’s Dynamics 365 CRM system, with a particular focus on data imports, income processing and data quality. The role involves carrying out regular and complex data imports from payment providers, response handling agencies and internal teams, ensuring secure data handling and adherence to established processes. The postholder supports ongoing improvements to import procedures and contributes to maintaining clear documentation.

A significant part of the role involves supporting accurate and timely income processing. Working closely with the Finance team, the postholder applies correct coding to income, assists with daily and monthly reconciliation processes, investigates discrepancies across systems and helps maintain appropriate audit trails and financial controls.

The role also supports CRM development and system enhancements by working with colleagues across Fundraising to understand requirements and assisting with testing new functionality or third-party integrations. The postholder ensures compliance with MAP’s data protection policies, maintains accurate consent and suppression records, and escalates any data quality or compliance concerns as needed.

In addition, the Supporter Database Officer responds to data queries from internal stakeholders, supports reporting and data selection requests, contributes to user documentation and training, and deputises for the Senior Supporter Database Officer when required.

About You

You will have experience working with CRM systems or large datasets and an understanding of data import processes. You will possess strong Excel skills and be willing to develop your technical knowledge further, including SQL. Experience supporting income processing and financial reconciliation is desirable, alongside an understanding of CRM system design principles.

You will demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies. You will be organised, adaptable and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

An awareness of GDPR, fundraising regulations and financial controls is essential. Experience within a charity CRM environment, supporting fundraising communications or working with supporter data, as well as familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools such as Power BI, would be advantageous.

Role description / person specification:

You would undertake research to identify new potential funding partners, write grant applications, and manage successful partnerships. You would write project funding proposals primarily to trusts and foundations, corporate foundations, and statutory sources. Some charity-sector fundraising experience is desirable. Experience in fundraising from trusts / foundations in particular would be an advantage. The ability to draft inspiring narratives for different audiences is a crucial aspect of this role. You must also be comfortable using spreadsheets and have strong attention to detail, as you would be working with project budgets. You would research and attend relevant events and identify other such opportunities to promote Pragya’s work, to network, and to learn about the latest research and trends in international development. You would contribute to Pragya’s social media posts and campaigns. A basic level of knowledge about video editing and media tools like Canva would be an advantage.

The UK branch of Pragya is a small team, and so you must be capable of using your initiative and managing your own workload. You would need to prioritise your commitments and work to deadlines as needed. You would contribute to the charity’s administrative needs.

We are looking for our next Chief Executive, someone who can lead the charity into an exciting period of growth and change.

FWS is a Scottish charity working to create a Scotland where trees and native woodlands are thriving for our wildlife, communities and climate.  Our mission is to protect, create and restore these vital habitats through knowledge, partnership and practical action.

Founded in 2012 to support innovative thinking for trees and native woodlands, we have grown into an organisation delivering practical action at scale. Today, our work stretches from city spaces to wild places — supporting farmers and landowners to create or restore native woodlands, strengthening local nurseries, building sector skills, and bringing trees into everyday landscapes across Scotland.

The organisation has grown rapidly over the past three years, and now operates as a team of seven delivering national programmes across Scotland.

About the role

This is a rare opportunity to shape a small, ambitious and high‑performing charity at a time of growth and increasing national influence.

As Chief Executive, you will report to and work closely with our Board of Trustees, providing strategic leadership and acting as the organisation’s senior representative. You will:

• Lead the delivery of our strategic plan and future direction
• Strengthen partnerships across the woodland, environmental, community and land‑use sectors
• Oversee programme delivery and organisational performance
• Support, motivate and develop our small and committed team of seven, working across programmes, fundraising and communications
• Represent Future Woodlands Scotland at senior levels across Scotland

You will bring strategic clarity, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to build strong, trusted relationships across sectors and with funders.

Location

This role is Scotland-based, working from home with travel across Scotland to meetings. Our current team is spread across Dumfries & Galloway, Lothian, Central Scotland and Aberdeenshire.

Contract and salary

• 8% employer pension contribution
• Permanent, part‑time (3 days per week)
• £65,000–£75,000 FTE, depending on experience
• 25 days annual leave + 10 public holidays (pro rata)
• Additional annual leave increasing with length of service, up to a maximum of 10 additional days.

About the role and person 

The new Chief Executive could be someone with senior management experience who is ready to lead an organisation for the first time, or they may already have experience of being a Chief Executive.

• Experience of leading and managing in a collaborative and collegiate style
• Skill at creating and delivering cross-sector partnerships
• An entrepreneurial style and a record of income generation

Are you a digital marketing professional who loves dogs?
We’re looking for a Digital Advertising Officer to deliver paid digital marketing campaigns, helping spread the word about Dogs Trust.

What does this role do?

As Digital Advertising Officer, you will:

• manage campaigns throughout the full lifecycle, from briefing with our media agency, to building and developing creative assets and copy, with a particular focus on paid social campaigns on Meta Ads and Google Ads,
• optimise and test campaigns, using platform data and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track KPIs, interpret performance, and provide actionable, data-driven recommendations to maximise impact,
• work closely with stakeholders across the charity to ensure campaigns are optimised, and all content reaches the appropriate audience.

Could this be you?

To be successful in this role, you’ll need some experience of working with paid digital advertising campaigns, specifically Meta Ads and Google Ads, underpinned by a strong understanding of pay-per-click advertising and paid social. You’ll also have strong analytics skills, with the ability to interpret data and make decisions accordingly. You’ll need effective time management and prioritisation skills, as this role often juggles multiple, competing priorities. Creative copywriting skills are essential, as well as a passion for Dogs Trust and the work we do.

Sands is seeking to appoint a Finance Officer.  The successful candidate will possess excellent relationship-management and technical skills to take full ownership of key financial operations such as accounts payables / receivables and ensure the smooth and effective running of our finance function.

In this key and customer-facing role, the post-holder will need to be able to use accounts packages e.g. Sage L50 to a high standard and have a good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and basic accounting principles.

A positive and pro-active attitude is essential, along with strong organisational skills plus the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written are essential as the post-holder will frequently deal with external and internal customers at all levels.
