The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports the development and delivery of all marketing, communications, and branding activity at Northampton Students’ Union. This role is central to ensuring that all campaigns, messaging, and visual content reflect the Union’s activities and values—Courageous, Empowering, Authentic, Inclusive, and Innovative—while engaging and informing students, stakeholders, and the wider community.
The postholder will support the team in driving a student-led, insight-informed communications culture that strengthens the SU’s brand, increases participation, and amplifies student voice.

In this key role, you will be at the forefront of our student activities, empowering student leaders by providing them with the tools and support necessary for effective group management. Your responsibilities will include continuously improving and overseeing all administrative processes related to student groups, ensuring they are efficient, user-friendly, and scalable to meet increasing demands.
You will collaborate closely with various departments to coordinate essential resources such as room bookings, funding, and group management tools. Maintaining strong communication with students, you’ll promptly respond to their needs and ensure they have a positive experience with the Union. Additionally, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with best practices, union policies, and safeguarding the welfare of our student community, particularly in relation to risk management and legislation.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing administrative processes, with a proven track record of streamlining operations to enhance efficiency. Strong organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
Effective communication is key to this role, as you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners. We are seeking someone who is proactive in identifying and solving problems, always looking for ways to enhance service delivery and improve the student experience.

The Events and Opportunities Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of a programme of events and activities that build community and belonging among students. Events include, but are not limited to, Welcome, Wellbeing Week and end of year celebrations. You will work closely with student societies, groups, networks and key stakeholders to plan, organise, and deliver events and activities that reflect the diverse needs of students across our campuses.
- Deliver an inclusive, engaging programme of events and activities that strengthen student belonging.
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate events across all university campuses.
- Support and empower student-led societies and groups to deliver high-quality activities.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to expand opportunities for students.
- Act as the Students’ Union’s central point of contact, and provide expertise, on events.

Creative Health Service Delivery Manager
Hours of Work: Part-Time - 21 hours per week (Tues to Thurs, 9am–4.30pm, with some evening and weekend working required with time off in lieu).
Place of Work: START, Brunswick House, Salford M6 and various outreach sites as appropriate
Salary: £40,000 per annum FTE (£24,000 per annum actual for 21 hours per week)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Creative Health Service Delivery Manager to lead the operational delivery of our flagship creative health services. You will take full responsibility for meeting NHS contractual requirements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring services run smoothly, achieve outstanding outcomes and remain a trusted part of the healthcare pathway.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary delivery team, providing supervision, support and performance management
- Ensure accurate data, documentation and outcomes are maintained in line with Commissioner and organisational standards
- Drive quality assurance, ensuring learning is shared and improvements are embedded in practice
- Champion the delivery of high-quality programmes that support improved mental health and wellbeing
We are looking for someone with:
- Significant experience managing service delivery in a health, wellbeing or voluntary sector environment
- A track record of meeting contractual KPIs in a Commissioner-led setting
- Strong line management experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams
- Experience delivering or overseeing creative programmes that promote wellbeing
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
