As Head of Membership, you will be responsible for developing and implementing CFG’s charity and corporate membership recruitment and retention strategy. You will have a ‘digital first’ mindset, and can ensure data, systems and processes are developed to meet organisational goals.
We are seeking someone who is a membership expert, has proven business development skills, is comfortable with attaining large financial and commercial targets, is hands-on, and is able to analyse data and draw insights from macro and microenvironments, in order to build a strong engagement and retention strategy. You are able to strike a superb balance between commercial acumen and member service provision, so that our offerings are tailored, sustainable and effective.
A natural leader, you will guide the charity membership and corporate member teams and share expertise and knowledge with colleagues across the organisation. You will be a people person, a strong networker comfortable addressing members at events, and have the ability to influence, negotiate and be at ease liaising with senior executives and Board of Trustees.

Membership Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and talented Development team
We are looking for an experienced Membership Manager to join our small and friendly Development team (Fundraising and Membership) and drive our strategy for Membership. With a healthy existing membership base of nearly 15,000, and a database of 100,000 registrants, this role will support the Head of Development in delivering the best possible membership offer for families in the Twins Trust community. You will be supported by a Membership Officer to continually evaluate and improve our membership proposition, giving members a brilliant experience and ensuring we can secure sustainable income for the charity.

Fundraising and income generation
- Work with Impetus CEO and SMT to support the delivery of the Impetus strategy and business plan and deliver the public affairs milestones to time and within budget.

Surgery and anaesthesia have a fundamental and growing impact on global health outcomes. Surgical intervention could address over 30% of the global burden of disease, and yet the poorest 33% of people receive just 3.5% of all surgery. Post-operative mortality rates 1,000 times higher than in some high-income countries can be found in parts of the world where surgery and anaesthesia have been neglected, and in some countries as many as 90% of anaesthetic departments do not have the equipment to provide a safe anaesthetic for a child.
With 142 Member Societies made up of anaesthesiologists in 151 countries, the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) is uniquely placed to influence these inequalities and help ensure universal access to safe surgery and safe anaesthesia.
As Governance Manager you will be responsible for delivering a high quality, professional, and effective governance service across the Federation and associated entities. You will work closely with our CEO, Governance & Programmes Officer, Board and other volunteers and leaders as required to deliver a number of key governance activities. This includes virtual and in-person meetings of the WFSA Board, Council, and General Assembly.
You will contribute to the expanding governance functions of the Federation family, with a focus on streamlining processes, improving organisational efficiency, and enhancing leadership communication and collaboration. We’re seeking someone who is:
• Experienced working within mission-driven or education-focused organisations
• Energetic, personable, and highly organised
• A skilled communicator with excellent writing and presentation abilities
• Experienced in using marketing tools like Canva, Mailchimp, and Coda
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team
• Sympathetic to the mission and ethos of the Catholic Church
A marketing qualification is highly desirable, and while you don’t need to be a practicing Catholic, an understanding of the Church’s structure and values will be a strong advantage.
