Job description
Global Events Manager - Fundraising

Job Type: Full time; Permanent
Location: Godalming HQ UK (Hybrid working pattern 2x days in the office)
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (depending upon skills and experience)

Join our clients highly successful fundraising team and use your expertise to deliver inspiring events that help end factory farming.

About Them:

Our client is a leading global organisation dedicated to ending factory farming worldwide. They were founded in 1967 by Peter Roberts, a British farmer alarmed by the rise of factory farming. Over the past 50 years, they have made major strides in abolishing inhumane practices such as barren battery cages, veal crates, and sow gestation crates in the UK and Europe.

Their approach involves campaigning, advocacy, and engagement with policymakers at national, intergovernmental, and corporate levels, building a movement of individuals concerned about animal welfare and the health and sustainability of our food. They are driven by a passion for animal welfare and food system change, believing in a future where animals are treated with compassion and respect, and where sustainable farming practices prevail for a healthy planet.

Their international headquarters are in Godalming (UK), with team members in 14 countries on four continents including the US, Italy, France, Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Czechia, China, and a specialist policy office in Brussels. This role is part of the Global Fundraising Directorate of over 50 staff, consisting of Philanthropy, Individual Giving, Legacies, Digital, CRM and Brand teams, based internationally, primarily in the UK (HQ) and our six other fundraising markets in the USA and Europe.

About the Role:

As their Global Events Manager within their ambitious Global Fundraising team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-impact events that engage, inspire, and grow support from their international community for their mission to end factory farming. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and manage their global fundraising events programme, to connect with their mid-level and major donors, and legacy pledgers across the UK, US, and Europe, through meaningful in-person and virtual experiences.

As part of this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing their Global Events Strategy, from donor receptions and immersive webinars to exclusive briefings and legacy events. By combining your creativity, organisational skills, attention to detail, and passion for building relationships, you’ll design compelling and compassionate event experiences that drive donor engagement and income growth.

About You:

To excel as their Global Events Manager, you will need to be a confident and creative events professional, with a passion for delivering memorable experiences that drive positive change. With a strong track record in planning and managing both in-person and virtual fundraising events, you know how to create moments that connect donors with a cause. You’ll know how to thrive in a fast-paced international environment, managing multiple projects with precision, and be skilled at building relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, with outstanding organisation and communications skills.

You’ll have experience working in a fundraising or membership environment and understand how to tailor events to help strengthen engagement, stewardship, and giving. You’ll be proactive, organised, and detail-focused, as well as flexible and collaborative, with the ability to work effectively across international teams and event platforms.

Why Should You Apply:

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to create impactful donor experiences that directly support the mission to end factory farming and build a more compassionate global food system. You'll be part of a passionate, purpose-driven team that values your voice, supports your growth, and empowers you to make a real difference.

Join their team and make a lasting impact, while being part of a workplace that values and supports you every step of the way:

- Enjoy an enhanced annual leave of 25 days per year, along with bank holidays
