As a Business Growth Manager, a typical day might include:
- Generating growth opportunities for the wider group structure in line with our social purpose, including acquisition, market diversification and complimentary service growth of up to £10m.
- You'll have your eye into the future, ensuring we are maximising our assets and have a pipeline of income to deliver our plans across all delivery sites
- Developing new services or products that meet the changing needs of our customers, our communities, commissioners and policy makers, seeking out contracting and funding opportunities to deliver these.
- Turning stakeholder relationships into strategic partners, delivering return for our customers, maximising opportunities to secure external funding from new income streams including corporate, community, grants, trusts and foundations, partnerships and public sector tenders, in support of business objectives.
- Working directly with the Executive Leadership Team, deliver against our charitable purpose, growing services and new business opportunities in line with our growth strategy and corporate vision.
- Working with the Bid Manager to ensure a pipeline of viable, fundable and sustainable models - leading on the financial viability of programmes through business plans, financial modelling and cash flow forecasting.
- Researching and developing a robust prospect pipeline to meet both financial and strategic targets, identifying opportunities for growth from all sources including partnerships, acquisition, businesses, government-led agencies, and trusts.
- Generating new customers for the group, leading innovative ways to engage, support and improve their lives for the better.
- Working with the Community Impact Manager and Data & Performance lead, gathering insight and needs analysis to develop new ideas and generate new income streams.
- Leading the innovation of ideas, improvements and changes to maximise income, support more customers and make a difference
- Leading team performance against KPI's and budgets, including regular reporting to senior managers budget management.
- Developing new models from scratch - including at times complex and long-term business planning. Working across multiple income streams to ensure full cost recovery and commercial return and seeking approval from Committees and Group Board where required.
- Understanding of wider business modelling approaches, including profit and loss accountancy, opportunities for cross subsidy and contractual and commercial income generation
- Turning stakeholder relationships into strategic partnerships delivering collaborative services for maximum impact, sustainability and growth opportunities
- You'll be able to step in and support with strong, evidenced based and accurate bids with clear delivery outcomes and cost modelling - supporting the wider bids team when required
Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you:
- Full understanding of the funding and grant submission process and a proven track record of securing income through this route
- Experience of securing income, in particular multiyear funding to ensure full cost recovery across all areas and a sustainable approach to delivery
- Experience of generating diversified income through new markets and developing and establishing new models
- Experience of acquisitions and mergers to support business growth
- A proven track record of turning stakeholder relationships into productive and impactful partnerships, working collaboratively to deliver a bigger impact in a funded and sustainable way
- Experience of managing budgets in the region of £1m with a full understanding of the budget planning and management process
- An ability to bring together complex business plans, profit and loss forecasts and financial profiles
- Development of cashflow forecasting, business plans and budget preparation
- Experience of presenting to Board, Executive leadership teams

About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, the Major Donor Manager sits within the Communications, Engagement and Fundraising team.
The role involves developing plans that feed into the USPG fundraising strategy to increase engagement from high net worth individuals and cultivating new high value donors. The Fundraising Assistant will be a key member of the fundraising team. This is generalist HR management role, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring effectiveness and driving improvement across all areas of the employment lifecycle, as well as providing expert HR knowledge and advice to our management and leadership teams.
The HR Manager will also lead the development and delivery of our workforce strategy and contribute to the strategic direction and day to day operational management of the hospice as a key member of the management team.

What you need:
The successful candidate will be qualified to CIPD level 7 (or working towards this / have equivalent experience), along with substantial experience working in a HR generalist role. Job purpose:
The Website Content Manager will lead on the content strategy for our new and improved website - delivering engaging content which inspires our audiences to take action from praying to donating in order for Muslim Hands to continue it’s lifesaving work. Main responsibilities:

As part of the Digital Systems team, the CRM Systems Manager is responsible for managing the organisation’s Ticketing, Customer Relationship Management and Fundraising CRM application and associated systems. This multifaceted role covers the ongoing support, training and continuous improvement of the applications.

Purpose of role
The International Board are seeking a senior International Fundraising Director with significant experience in major donor fundraising who will help drive the organisation’s fundraising strategy by strengthening and diversifying its fundraising sources. The Mission requires an experienced leader with a proven track record in international fundraising who will inspire our teams to differentiate and grow income as the organisation enters a new phase of strategic growth. The International Fundraising Director – with this focus on Major Donors - will provide leadership, oversight and guidance to the Mission’s national country fundraising directors - working with the International Director of Communication and Individual Fundraising and the wider fundraising team. · Have oversight of the annual and rolling five-year budgets for areas under responsibility to ensure local and international fundraising achieve overall strategic goals for income and related expenditure.
· Work closely with the CFO and CEO, Director of Individual Fundraising, and other senior executive personnel to drive annual planning and budgeting process.
· Drive consistency in restricted and unrestricted giving reporting.
Leadership and management
· Work with the International Executive team to drive Mission’s International Strategy.
· Collaborate and coach National Fundraising directors.
· Nurture team members in excellence in operational tasks as well as personal development, ensuring an engaged and fulfilled team.
· Participate in Mission events, training, and conferences to engage and inspire peers to drive strategic goals and ensure best practice.
· Network in the fundraising community.
Experience and Skills
· Relevant degree or equivalent in experience.
· Strong management and leadership skills, with a servant heart.
· Senior level experience as part of an international leadership team and managing international teams in complex environments.
· Proven experience working with major donors (£20,000+), trusts, foundations, institutional donors and corporates.
· Development and implementation of strategic and operational plans for fundraising, marketing and communications.
· Budgetary creation, management, monitoring and control.
· Brand development experience desired.
· History of work experience in an organisation with a similar ethos to MWB.
· Global knowledge of legislation, regulations and best practice in fundraising and marketing.
Personal traits desired
· Be able to share the Christian aims and ethos of MWB and agree with the MWB Mission statement with a high degree of enthusiasm.
· Willingness to lead and attend and participate, where possible, in devotions, prayer meetings and staff conferences to enhance the spiritual health of the organisation.
· Be able to work sensitively with those of different cultures and church backgrounds.
· Willing and able to travel internationally and work across time zones when required.
· Calm and adaptable with an ability to work within a flexible and busy environment.
· Collaborative team leader and committed to driving the strong internal culture.
