Role Summary
You will work as part of the Corporate Services Directorate, which provides critical business support functions to enable PSVT to operate effectively, achieve its corporate priorities and meet statutory regulatory requirements. PSVT’s mission includes creating an inviting place for people to live, work and visit’; you will champion best practice and ensure that PSVT delivers continuous improvement to support this mission and be a brilliant place to work.
The People & Business Support Officer is a key point of contact for employees; you will therefore be approachable, trustworthy and reliable. With support from external HR consultants, you will provide advice and guidance to staff and line managers to deal correctly and confidently with a range of issues. You will also provide support to PSVT’s volunteer workforce. A strong sense of integrity is critical to the role.

Key Accountabilities
1. Develop and maintain robust internal policies and procedures, ensuring these are effectively communicated, implemented, and consistently observed across the organisation.
2. Maintain accurate records with integrity and appropriate control of data, analyse and report to the Leadership Team in a timely manner.
3. Facilitate best practices in recruitment and retention, supporting and empowering line managers in administrative processes such as performance management, training, annual leave, and sickness absence. Ensure internal procedures run smoothly while liaising with external HR consultants for complex or compliance-related matters.
4. Handle HR and staff issues sensitively and confidentially. Escalate complex or legal matters to external HR consultants, ensuring appropriate expertise is applied.
5. Ensure legal compliance by liaising with external consultants, staying informed on employment legislation and best practices. Provide internal guidance to the Leadership Team while proactively coordinating with consultants on specialised HR matters.

9. Support the business as required, including monitoring the complaints process and providing holiday/absence cover for Reception.

Interpretation and Digital Officer

The Role
We now have an exciting new role for an Interpretation and Digital Officer. This role is part of the Networks for Nature project team.
Networks for Nature spans c60 square miles from the River Dee to the River Mersey, including Chester and Ellesmere Port. This is a collaborative partnership project working with Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Land Trust, Cheshire Wildlife Trust, Canal and River Trust, and Sustrans with the aim to drive nature recovery in a mixed-use landscape, creating diverse habitats for species to thrive now and for years to come. We will empower communities to have an active role in conservation action and stewardship and will focus on making nature more accessible to and inclusive for everyone to enable connection and improve wellbeing. As an Interpretation and Digital Officer, you'll work closely and collaboratively with a wide range of in-zoo teams including the Networks for Nature project staff, Interpretation, Digital Learning, Marketing, PR, Fundraising, and will also link with the project partners. You’ll be responsible for the development of interpretation and promotional materials for the project. This will include interpretation materials at partner and community sites, resources for event activities and promotion of the project via e-newsletters, social media and other digital channels, such as the Wild Wander app.
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Develop content for interpretation elements across the landscape, working with designers and overseeing installation.
- Commission others or develop a broad range of digital and promotional materials, including content for e-newsletters, leaflets, digital media and other collateral to promote the project to a wide range of audiences (from those directly involved and supporters, to local residents and the wider public).
- Work collaboratively with zoo teams to schedule and plan delivery of communications content, providing any assets needed, so that the project is communicated consistently and regularly to key audiences.
- Ensure brand consistency across all areas of work.
- Support the ongoing development of the Wild Wander app, working with app developers, project team and partners to create new content and monitor its ongoing usage, adapting as needed in response to feedback.
- Ensure all work is delivered safely and compliantly, follow policies, standard operating procedures and ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and legislation, such as copyright law, GDPR, CDM and DDA compliance.
- Contribute to project monitoring through the collation of relevant KPI data and through providing regular reports to the Project Board and Steering Group.
- Monitor budgets associated with the interpretation and digital content elements of the project.
- Proactively develop own expertise in the areas of interpretation and digital engagement, keeping up to date with best practice, researching excellence and sharing practice both internally and externally.

The Package
- Fixed term contract until September 2028

Our Requirements
- An understanding & affinity to the organisation’s mission, vision & values, with a strong interest in the conservation of UK nature.
- Subject knowledge: Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent copywriting skills, with experience in a comparable setting of writing for diverse audiences and for a range of formats including digital channels and interpretation signage. Proven ability to communicate scientific or technical content to audiences of different ages and abilities.
- Research skills: the ability to find information and source quality materials (such as films, maps and images), seek copyright clearance for their usage and edit into appropriate formats for a range of audiences.
- Commissioning of content: The ability to brief designers, printers, photographers, filmmakers and other contractors on projects and requirements.
- IT skills: Skilled in the use of all key Microsoft packages and use of digital technologies for public engagement.
- Organisational skills: Excellent time management, administration and workload planning skills are essential. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring appropriate quality control.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent diplomacy and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under own initiative and as part of a team, to work under pressure and to collaborate with various stakeholders across the zoo and beyond.
Although not essential, the following would be desirable:
- Experience of developing and installing interpretation in a zoo, aquarium, museum or similar environment is desirable, ideally with experience working in outdoor locations.
- Experience or qualification in subject relevant to science communication and/or interpretation is desirable.
- A working knowledge of UK conservation and/or ecology.
- Full driving licence

The London Wetland Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join to the team. This role will help drive visitation to London Wetland Centre, raise brand awareness and increase engagement across social media platforms.

Overview of Role
1. The Director of Development is responsible for developing and leading strategies to grow the organisations financial resources, supporter base and brand recognition. The Director of Development will lead and manage the fundraising team and have overall responsibility for ensuring the effective leadership and management of the Marketing and Comms and Innovation Lab teams in conjunction with the Co-Heads of Marketing and Comms and Innovation Lab Manager.

THE PERSON:
Candidates for the role must bring substantial experience and broad expertise and contacts in fundraising, including managing and supporting a fundraising team.
You will have a proven track record of generating significant funds through trust, statutory and corporate sources and from individual giving, preferably including prior success in leading a multi-million capital campaign as well as driving increased core income.
You will need strong experience and skills in networking and developing relationships with individuals and organisations. Experience of leading marketing and communications work would be an advantage.

About CoppaFeel!
CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.
We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.
Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.
The Role
Following a recent departmental restructure, we’re entering an exciting period for the newly formed content team. This shift in the team structure highlights our commitment to making best in sector content - all in the name of our mission; to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and accurately in young people.
We are looking for an exceptional Head of Content who will be responsible for delivering our holistic content strategy over the next year. You’ll oversee the management, production and strategic placement of all organic content across CoppaFeel!’s channels, and in house paid campaign activations. You will help shape CoppaFeel!’s approach to content so that it appeals, resonates with and converts our key audience of 18 - 24 year olds, as well as our supplementary audiences, across website, email and social channels.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing and alongside other Heads of Dept, bringing your expertise and knowledge to leadership discussions to help shape the future of the organisation. You will report to the Marketing Director and line manage the Social Media Manager and Digital Marketing Manager, and you will have exposure to the Senior Management Team.
This is a fixed term contract for 13 months.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Supporting young people aged 8-25, they provide advice, workshops and resources via schools, children’s homes, pupil referral units, youth and sports clubs. Job Profile
CAFOD’s mission in the Catholic community of England and Wales is to inspire and equip Catholics to actively engage in the Church’s efforts to overcome poverty and injustice. Our regional teams focus on recruiting and supporting a dedicated group of volunteers within parish and school communities, empowering them to educate, engage, and inspire others to act in solidarity for the common good. Regional teams also collaborate with clergy and other representatives across the Catholic community to ensure CAFOD’s volunteer programme is aligned with faith life.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative and communications support to the Community Participation Coordinators across England and Wales, with a focus on the West & Wales region as the first point of contact. This includes coordinating administrative tasks performed by office volunteers and identifying opportunities for process improvements. The role also involves volunteer recruitment administration, overseeing and training Office Volunteers, and ensuring effective database management.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK including our head office in London, working from home, from one of CAFOD’s Volunteer Centres, or a combination of both. The role requires occasional travel to London and other areas within the East & West side of the country. Travel expenses will be reimbursed, and time off in lieu will be granted for travel beyond normal working hours.
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) and reports to the Volunteer Support and Development Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities Overview
The post holder will play a key role in driving smooth, efficient operations across CAFOD’s West & Wales region. As the go-to person for admin excellence and volunteer support, you’ll work closely with your line manager and colleagues in the East to streamline processes, improve systems, and keep everything running like clockwork.
You’ll lead on volunteer recruitment and engagement—welcoming new volunteers, managing onboarding, and ensuring everyone feels valued, equipped, and inspired to support CAFOD’s work. Your people skills and attention to detail will shine as you manage applications, data entry, and training coordination.
Communications will be at the heart of your role. You’ll create engaging e-bulletins and social media content that keeps our community informed and motivated, while ensuring messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with CAFOD’s wider goals.
