Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by bipolar, including carers and families. We're launching an exciting new lottery-funded project in Northern Ireland to expand our peer support network.
As Senior Volunteer Co-ordinator, you’ll play a central role in growing and supporting our network of local support groups. You’ll recruit, onboard and induct volunteer co-facilitators, ensuring a welcoming, inclusive experience. You’ll supervise and support volunteers, helping them develop skills and confidence to deliver safe, effective peer support—whether online or in-person.

About the role
As the Data Protection and Compliance Officer, you will deliver the data protection and compliance agenda at Crisis, ensuring a risk-based approach in line with applicable laws including the Data Protection Act 2018, UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Privacy and E-Communications Regulation in respect of marketing compliance.

These are two unique roles to be impact catalysts across four of Youth Zone locations: Carlisle, Wigan, Wolverhampton and Barnet (London), generating support and building towards a ‘culture of impact’ in all four Youth Zone organisations such that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine and ‘every day’.
Position: Impact and Insights Officer – 2 positions available

About the Role
You will lead on data analysis and reporting on the data held in Salesforce CRM, improving both the quality and quantity of monitoring and evaluation processes, driving improvements in data capture through training and upskilling the Youth Work team, strengthening the ability of the four Youth Zones to demonstrate the measurable impact of youth work delivered.
You will also be responsible for measuring and demonstrating the charities’ impact to stakeholders; authoring and providing the necessary data to the leadership and fundraising teams and Board (as required), annual publications such as Trustees Reports and annual Impact Reports. Innovation is a key aspect of this role, involving the introduction and embedding of new methodologies to enhance the qualitative data capture process.
You will collaborate closely with a cross section of teams within the Youth Zones, working with the Youth Work delivery teams to feed data into decision making, and with the Communications and Fundraising teams to provide impact measurement and analysis content for use with stakeholders and in donor reporting. Furthermore, it will align impact and data work with national and local policy, and use national census, health, police and other statistical data to position the four Youth Zones for new income generation opportunities.

These two roles are ideal for someone who has the ability to bring technical analysis to life in a youth work setting and can communicate insights in an accessible style to different audiences. The Impact and Insights Officer should be passionate about embracing the power of youth work and be keen to support Youth Zones in evidencing the impact created with young people. It will require someone who can bring impact expertise and creativity to create buy-in and drive improvements in data capture; and someone who is keen to work flexibly and closely with teams of passionate Youth Workers and who is unafraid of the challenge presented by Youth Zones in four very different geographic locations.

Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse (AAFDA) was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. AAFDA’s prime function is to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
As a growing charity, AAFDA is looking for an exceptional candidate to join our supportive team and lead our finance and resource management functions. The role will provide and manage the HR, administration and finance activities of the charity and sit within the Senior Leadership Team.

ROLE OVERVIEW
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for a full time Finance and Resources Manager to join our team.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
To work with the Board, CEO and Deputy CEO to ensure efficient and effective financial management, including setting and monitoring budgets, producing financial reports, and overseeing day to day financial management, including payroll and bookkeeping via Quickbooks, and providing advice and guidance, to inform the development and delivery of AAFDA’s strategy and business plan.
To work with the CEO and Deputy CEO to ensure that AAFDA meets its funder obligations, including reporting on time, gathering data from across the team and compiling reports for CEO/Deputy CEO sign off.
To work with Trustees and staff to ensure AAFDA fulfils its legal and regulatory requirements, including; coordinating the implementation of health and safety, GDPR and other policies and procedures; leading on human resources support; and overseeing office management and IT. Note that specialist HR advice and support and IT are provided to AAFDA by external contractors.
The role provides and manages the HR, administration and finance activities of the Charity and sits within the Senior Leadership Team.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
· Ensuring the day-to-day financial and accounting operations (Quickbooks) are delivered and maintained.
· Administering and managing Payroll, expenses, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, managing the bank including reconciliations and other financial management.
· Managing AAFDA’s budget planning, monitoring and review and year-end accounts processes.
· Meeting AAFDA’s funder reporting deadlines, including oversight of the compilation of information for the funder and the provision of financial reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Finance:
· In conjunction with the Leadership team, undertake regular finance operational duties including;
- Preparation and setting of a three-year outline budget to accompany AAFDA’s three-year strategy.
- Preparation and setting of the annual budget.
- quarterly reviews – including cashflow and operational re-forecasts.
- Monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
· Prepare quarterly finance reports for the Board, including variance analysis, re-forecasts and ad-hoc reports, as necessary.
· Assist the third-party accountant with the preparation of year-end accounts.
· Manage and operate the internal finance and accounting systems and databases.
· Oversee delivery of payroll, through the use of third-party providers software and using the staff time management recording system.
· Manage all staff expense systems and ensure compliance with relevant AAFDA policies.
· Manage and operate a purchasing system and ensure appropriate levels of pre-expenditure financial authorisation are in place and followed and that suppliers are paid on a timely basis.
· Ensure that all receivables are billed and collected on a timely basis.
· Be the main contact with and management of, the day-to-day operations of the Charity’s banking arrangements, seeking secondary authorisations where required.
· Ensure compliance with HMRC, including monitoring VAT threshold, tax and gift aid, and undertake necessary returns where necessary.
· Commission specialist VAT and other financial advice as required and in conjunction with the Board and CEO/DCEO.

With oversight by the Director of Science and Regulatory Affairs, you will support the collection, preparation, organisation, and use of the Science team’s key information resources which contribute to ensuring that our work and external communications are underpinned by accurate and robust evidence.
You will support the Science team in inputting to marketing and fundraising efforts as well the preparation of press releases and other forms of external communication. Purpose of the Role
You will provide administrative support to our skills curriculum, that we deliver to every learner across Y12 and Y13, as well as support our learners to build their knowledge of their progression options by supporting the many industry and university interactions we curate. This will require meaningful collaboration with our Sixth Form team, our learners, as well as the External Relations Team. You will also be tasked to provide administrative support to our T-level learners when they are on their industry placements. This is an immensely rewarding role for the right candidate and will play a substantial part in a student’s progression during their two years of study in our sixth form.

ShareAction’s Financial Sector Research team works towards holding financial institutions accountable for their impact on globally important challenges such as tackling climate change, upholding human rights and reversing biodiversity loss.
Asset managers, insurance companies and banks hold a huge amount of influence over the world’s largest companies through their investment, lending and underwriting activities. While many of these financial institutions publicly claim to be taking environmental and social issues seriously, often, these claims do not hold up to scrutiny.
In this role, you will have many opportunities to challenge the financial sector by contributing to:
- Our financial sector benchmarks. In the first 12 months, you would primarily be working on our 2026 benchmark of some of the world’s largest insurance companies (following our 2024 report). Our research also covers asset managers and banks.
- Coordination with civil society allies and developing new collaborations with leading global NGOs.
- Engagement with financial institutions, regulators, and industry bodies to provide detailed recommendations for improvement.
- Communication of our research findings externally, for example, on webinars.
Working alongside the rest of the Financial Sector Research team, you will contribute to ShareAction’s key reports ranking financial institutions. Background: The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is a leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration, working closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners. Established in 1951, IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. The Islamic Philanthropy Fund (IPF), launched by IOM in February 2025 in Riyadh under the supervision of Private Sector Partnerships Division at the HQ, IPF aims to harness the power of Islamic charitable giving to support some of the world's most vulnerable migrant and displaced populations. This initiative aligns with Shariah principles and seeks to provide a sustainable source of income to ensure the safety and dignity of those affected by crises.
The Private Sector Partnerships Division (PSP) sits within the Office of Partnerships, Advocacy and Communications under the overall oversight of the Director General. PSP builds partnerships with the private sector that enable IOM's strategic priorities and engage the private sector as a key stakeholder in migration through impactful and innovative partnerships. PSP leads strategic outreach and engagement with the private sector and Islamic Philanthropy Fund and provides Headquarters, Regional and Country Offices with assistance and expertise relating to initiating, establishing, and maintaining partnerships with the private sector and IPF. PSP is responsible for the development and implementation of IOM’s Private Sector and IPF Strategy which provides a framework for how IOM engages with the private sector and IPF partners to support safe, orderly, and regular migration. IOM has had a presence in the United Kingdom since 1995. The UK office supports migrants through a variety of resettlement, support, and protection activities. The relationship between IOM and the UK has grown significantly, with the UK being one of IOM's largest donors and an influential Member State. IOM UK collaborates with the government and other partners to provide emergency response, resettlement assistance, and durable solutions for displaced populations.
Objective: Under the overall guidance of the Chief of Mission in the UK and with technical coordination from the Private Sector Partnerships Division to ensure alignment with IOM's overall strategic goals and objectives for the IPF, the incumbent will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Islamic Philanthropy strategy in the UK. The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS), the UK’s largest national charity dedicated to improving bone health and beating osteoporosis, is seeking a bold and dynamic fundraising and communications leader who can drive transformative income growth and galvanise public engagement.
Half of women aged over 50 live with osteoporosis, plus a fifth of men. The condition causes bones to break (fracture) following everyday occurrences – e.g. sneezes, coughs and falls. Fractures are the fourth worst cause of disability and premature death, but most people with osteoporosis are undiagnosed.
ROS works to improve diagnosis and access to care for the unacceptably high number of people whose lives risk being destroyed by this highly treatable condition each day. They equip people with practical information and support to take action on their bone health and, working with healthcare professionals and academics, influence and shape policy and practice at every level. The charity’s research arm is investigating new diagnostic approaches, including the world’s first screening programme, as well as novel treatments to beat osteoporosis for good.
This is a pivotal time for ROS as they aim to seize on momentum garnered from half a million people checking their risk, two national media partnerships, a groundbreaking Ministerial pledge to roll-out early diagnosis clinics to every area, and more people than ever engaging with their services. They aim to lead a movement for change around bone health similar to those that have gained widespread attention by menopause and prostate cancer campaigners.
To capitalise on this momentum and as the charity prepares for its 40th anniversary, the time is right for ROS to step up fundraising and public engagement to address one of the most urgent threats to people living well in later life and meet the charity’s vision - No more broken bones, no more broken lives. To achieve this, the ROS Board has committed to investing up to 80% of annual designated spent into developing fundraising every year up to 2030.
To deliver on this investment, the ROS team is seeking a creative and inspiring fundraising and communications leader who can build strong partnerships, harness digital innovation and create and deepen supporter journeys to convert awareness into long-term support.
As well as driving the delivery of a transformational audience-centric growth strategy, the role-holder will also be responsible for building a powerful organisational brand to reflect ROS’s vision and impact, as well as compelling communications and media plans to drive momentum. They will lead and motivate a high-performing team, as well as embedding a fundraising culture across the organisation and acting as a key ambassador for the cause.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of senior leadership experience and possess outstanding business acumen. They will have proven success in developing and delivering income generation and communication strategies within the health or not-for-profit sector. They should also have extensive experience of setting and delivering an organisational income development vision and securing buy-in from colleagues at the most senior level. Experience in building and maintaining a strong brand profile and of driving impactful communications and PR to underpin income generation will be essential, as well as the ability to work collaboratively across department boundaries and externally to achieve organisational goals. Finally, they will have a ‘can do’ personality with the gravitas, energy, creativity and solutions-focused mindset to drive transformative income growth.
ROS has made osteoporosis one of the most prominent health conditions on the national stage, but there is so much more to be done to address the enormous unmet need in the NHS for people living with this devastating condition. The Role
This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across regions, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region.
Mentoring programme
- Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
- Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
- Design and deliver events and workshops for mentees.
- Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
- Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
- Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
- Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
- Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network process in line with our child protection policy.
- Develop effective relationships with schools, on-boarding, supporting and retaining the partnerships.
Partnerships
- Work with the Senior Network Manager in your area to identify professional partnerships and sponsorship with local and national businesses.
- Work with your Senior Network Manager to identify a recruitment and retention plan for your area including key partners to work with.
- Be an active presence in the community, attending events and networks to encourage local women to mentor on our programme.
The Girls’ Network reputation and network
- Advocate The Girls’ Network at every opportunity, through local media, PR activities and social media.
- Identify opportunities to build the reputation of The Girls’ Network in your region and through events and networking.
- Report significant successes and achievements to relevant staff members.
Ongoing success of The Girls’ Network
- Work with the Programme Team to identify key areas for programme development.
- Opportunities to get involved in programme and wider organisational projects.
- Understand the development of school initiatives nationally and in your region, and understand their impact and implications for The Girls’ Network programmes.
- Attend programme and whole team meetings and team days.
- Maintain and champion a girls-centred way of working.
Other duties
As a small charity with limited resources, all staff are expected to be flexible with their work and as such you may be required to undertake other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time.

Essential skills, knowledge and attributes
- You are deeply passionate and driven to achieve equal opportunities for all and will keep the girls we work with at the heart of your work.
- You are able to build and manage a number of relationships with a variety of different people and are confident speaking to both young people and adults within schools and businesses.
- The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the disadvantages faced by both women and those from the least advantaged communities and have a drive to rectify the inequalities that currently exist.
