Main duties:

• To identify and research themes for each issue, sourcing and managing contributors to ensure the magazine has a clear, consistent, relevant and interesting voice to the readership.
• To lead on planning, sourcing contributors, writing and managing content of Under 5 magazine, 10 issues produced every year
• To liaise with Communications and External Affairs colleagues to ensure that corporate partnership publicity, advertorial, editorial and competition deals are delivered to meet terms of contra deals in relevant issues of Under 5.
• To write, edit and upload regular online news stories for selected digital communication including planning, writing and managing content for the fortnightly Under 5 e-newsletter.

Essential criteria:

• Proven experience of working on magazine in an editorial role with an ability to lead on commissioning, writing, sub-editing and proofing professional copy.
• Excellent journalistic writing skills, with the ability to write concise and accurate news copy.
• Clear understanding and practical experience of managing magazine print and production processes
• Strong interpersonal skills with direct experience of managing internal and external suppliers, journalists, production staff, advertisers and contributors.

About the role

Digital technology has already transformed our communications and will continue to do so. This senior communications and marketing role will be responsible for steering the ongoing digital transformation of CAFODs work, primarily in the supporter programme and also across the wider organisation.

This role encompasses overall responsibility for the brand, digital marketing, messaging, proactive and reactive media relations, with a core focus on digital transformation across all platforms. This post will play a key role in guiding our digital shop fronts and marketing efforts, evolving supporter journeys, steering our email programme and leading on the digital infrastructure to enable delivery of our supporter programme. Key Responsibilities

• Supporting imaging services on their QSI journey with accurate record-keeping and communications.

This is a new and exciting role which you can out your stamp on. You'll help the charity run smoothly, support our Board of Trustees, coordinate meetings, manage key communications, provide day-to-day office management and ensure that strategic projects are delivered effectively. As well as our Brighter Horizons team, you’ll also have a hand in supporting our trading subsidiary Ignition Brewery, making this a varied role, ideal for someone who likes to be involved in lots of things at the same time.

What we need from you (the essentials):

Learning Support Assistants support PiP’s Development Workers to deliver a flexible programme of learning and development opportunities; ensuring that students can actively participate and engage in sessions, giving student’s maximum opportunity to learn and develop.

The Finance team at KCLSU are looking for a Finance Assistant to support the delivery of core financial and administrative functions, in line with financial regulations, procedures and compliance requirements of external statutory bodies. 

As part of this, you will: 

• Assist in the preparation of accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements and management accounts. 
• Support the annual audit process. 
• Play an essential role in ensuring high-quality service to KCLSU's internal and external stakeholders, including students, by maintaining accuracy, efficiency and professionalism.
