Job description

Playing a key role in the smooth running of the department and the HR functions across CMS, the Recruitment and HR Assistant will provide support to the Head of HR and operate processes for recruitment, contracts, HR systems and administration.

The post holder will support the attraction, engagement, development and retention of excellent employees and cross team working to fulfil CMS’s global mission. They will work closely with other support services such as finance and ICT to ensure systems and processes are effectively managed, as well as encouraging a climate of collaborative relationship between staff at all levels. 

This is a six months fixed-term, full-time role of 35 hours a week with a starting salary of £24,670–£26,135 per annum, depending on experience, and a generous pension scheme contribution.

It is essential that the post holder is educated to at least A-level with at least two years’ HR administrative/recruitment experience, excellent people skills with a warm approach and experience of database management. It is also a requirement for this post holder to be in sympathy with the aims and values of CMS.

It is a fixed-term role as CMS is going through a strategic review to re-define our purpose and be even more effective in God’s mission.
