CHAS are looking for a Communications and Fundraising Assistant. 

CHAS has recently gone through a period of sustainable growth to meet increasing demand for services. This role is a key position within CHAS: helping develop the charity’s emerging communications presence and helping secure revenue streams for the charity’s ambitious future growth. You will work closely with the CHAS Director supported by the mentorship of experienced fundraisers and marketing/communications professionals to ensure the smooth running of key processes. This will include creating and maintaining a marketing & communications program for the charity, strengthening our brand and supporting fundraising applications and appeals. There is opportunity to shape this role as the charity develops. 

Personal Outlook 

The post-holder must be a person with a strong commitment to the voluntary sector and a desire to make a real difference. You will be adaptable, dynamic and open to supporting change and development within the organisation. You will be working as a member of a small staff team.

We are keen to have a staff team which is representative of the community we serve and also welcome applications from people with life experience of housing and homelessness issues to help us to shape and develop our service.
