Role purpose:
A member of the Senior Management Team providing management and direction to the Support Services to deliver The Stoll Foundation’s strategic objectives. This role is to provide operational oversight of tenant support and engagement services, ensuring vulnerable veterans are empowered, well-supported, and actively involved in shaping the services they receive. The role is central to fostering inclusive communities, improving tenancy sustainment, and enhancing resident wellbeing through collaborative, person-centred approaches.
To manage all Support Services across Soll, plus outreach services with partners.
Key responsibilities:
· Responsible to the Director of Support and Tenant Engagement for providing leadership and management of the Support Team in the provision of person-centred services, plus ensuring tenants are actively engaged in line with our Beneficiary Involvement policy.
· Implemented strategic objectives that align with our organisational goals. Ensuring that agreed outcomes are met, while actively monitoring progress.
· Present regular management information and detailed reports on key performance indicators, providing insights to guide decision-making and enhance service delivery. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, driving our mission to provide quality supported housing solutions for the community.
· Act as Safeguarding Lead.
· Deputise for the Director as required.
Management of Support Services
· Take on a strategic lead with other agencies including housing, health and social care professionals as required.
· Manage and maintain services in accordance with the principles and practice of equality and diversity.
· Ensure Support Plans and Risk Assessments are undertaken in line with Stoll’s policies and procedures.
· Ensure that there is a menu of health and wellbeing services provided, in consultation with beneficiaries.
· Ensure beneficiaries are involved in the design, delivery, and monitoring of services.
· Support the Director in undertaking a review of Support Services.
· Oversee the assessment of applicants on the waiting list for housing and support at Stoll. This includes monitoring progress.
· Ensure that each scheme is well managed, and staff cover is provided when necessary.
· Ensure any risks or significant concerns are escalated as required.
· As a member of the Senior Management Team contribute to the strategic vision and direction of Stoll, working proactively to ensure that services meet the changing needs and demands of the ex-Service community.
Person Specification
Head of Support and Tenant Engagement
- Significant experience of managing and leading Support Services at a senior level, working with adults.
- Significant experience in the involvement of beneficiaries.
- Experience of managing staff, including dispersed staff teams.
- Track record of developing teams and services.
- Experience of performance monitoring of the key performance indicators related to Support.
- Proven experience in Budget management and financial oversight.
- Experience with safeguarding responsibilities and the ability to act as the Safeguarding Lead.
- Experience/knowledge of the issues facing the ex-Service community.

Working as part of the Global Impact team, our Global Outcomes function catalyses positive change for children by driving influencing agendas and bringing knowledge, evidence, analysis and expertise to our partnerships, programmes and advocacy work.
The Education Team works as part of the Global Save the Children movement and the wider sector to drive long lasting systems changes at the global and country levels. The team's purpose is to drive impact to deliver equitable rights (outcomes) in education for boys and girls through participatory, inclusive and collaborative thought leadership and technical expertise to influence financing, policy and practise.
About the Role
Working 3 days a week and reporting to the Head of Education, you will work closely across the teams in SCUK and the wider movement in line with our strategy and policies in our global education priorities.
As a Senior Education Policy & Advocacy Advisor, you will provide global leadership within your area of expertise (Education) to shape and drive shared advocacy and impact agendas across Save the Children and the wider sector. You will develop and deliver high-quality policy and influencing strategies, fostering innovation and inclusivity and contributing to systemic change. In this role, you will build strategic relationships with key decision-makers, lead capacity strengthening for colleagues and partners, and champion equality, inclusion and the shifting power agenda.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Being our key representative in the Send My Friend to School coalition, including being an active member of its Policy and Parliamentary Working Group and potentially its Steering Group dependent on your experience. This the UK's global education coalition of international development NGOs and teachers' unions, bringing together young people, politicians, teachers, civil society and the media to campaign for quality education for all children across the globe. Its focus is to influence the UK Governments financing and policies related to global education.
• Lead the movements influencing in support of the Global Partnership for Education replenishment campaign which aims to raise $5 billion from donors in 2026, as well as partner government commitments on domestic education financing. You will work closely with colleagues across the movement to influence their governments, as well as lead the work to ensure a significant pledge from the UK Government.
• Provide global leadership in other areas of global education to shape and drive shared advocacy and impact agendas across Save the Children and the wider sector.
This is an important time to take up this role. The UK Government has stated that it plans to deprioritise its work on global education as part of its significant aid cuts in 2027. The inspiring Send My Friend to School coalition has developed an impactful UK schools campaign, youth campaign champion network and strategic policy and advocacy approach aiming to protect the education aid budget. Similarly a successful replenishment campaign for the Global Partnership for Education is vital for maintaining multi-year, transformative investment into education systems.
About You
We are looking for someone with the following experience, competencies, and skills:
• Strong track-record in designing and implementing successful influencing strategies with minimal supervision, drawing on analytical skills to identify political and other barriers to change and prioritise from the range of possible objectives and approaches.
• Very high-level expertise in the global international development and child rights policy landscape and institutions, coupled with deep expertise in Education
• Very strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to have resonance with and influence particular audiences.
• Ability to network and represent Save the Children externally, including facilitating and speaking at high level events and meetings and doing media interviews
• Strong track-record in policy analysis and development, with ability to draw on different sources of information and ideas from partners and children to generate relevant policy positions and solutions that will have cut through with target audiences.

- Planning and delivering careers assemblies
- Delivering impartial, personalised career guidance meetings and group sessions
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic records on Unifrog of guidance meetings
- Providing targeted support for students making post-16 and post-18 pathway choices
- Liaising with external agencies, networks and partners to enhance the Higher Education and Careers programme
- Tracking, monitoring and reporting on the aspirations of current students
- Engaging parents and carers in the careers guidance process
- Supporting with meaningful and aspirational employer encounters
- Attending results and enrolment days
- Supporting wider team members, including providing shadowing opportunities and sharing best practice
- Contributing to Careers Adviser team meetings with learnings or experiences that could enhance practice, inform strategy or support team development
- Providing support to academies during Ofsted inspections
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We would like to hear from you if you have:
- Diploma in Careers Guidance or Qualification in Careers Guidance to Level 6 (or working towards)
- Proven experience in delivering impartial, personalised career guidance through one-to-one meetings and group sessions
- Experience of successfully motivating individuals to plan and achieve their career goals
- A proactive approach, with efficient time management and prioritisation skills
- Self motivation, demonstrating an ability to work independently and flexibly within the Academy structure

The role
This maternity cover role is to deliver a programme of cultivation and stewardship events to engage new and existing major donors (individuals, trusts and corporates) and to contribute to the delivery of fundraising budgets by delivering events that enable a sector leading supporter experience.
The postholder line manages the special events coordinator and plays a key role in team culture, operational refinement, and cross-functional collaboration.
The Special Events Manager will report to the Head of Philanthropy and Capital Campaigns.
The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
· Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.

What you’ll do

Frazzled is a small mental health and wellbeing charity founded by Ruby Wax OBE based on the power of emotional openness. Our free, volunteer-led meetings run online every single day of the year, offering people a chance to share, listen and feel heard in a supportive community.
We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.
You will play a vital role in coordinating our schedule of peer-support meetings, managing our busy inboxes, supporting our volunteers and ensuring our internal systems and processes are well organised and working smoothly. You will work closely with our Co-Heads of Training and Programmes to plan and manage service delivery, support the recruitment, wellbeing, training and development of volunteers, as well as provide day-to-day running of our services. Supporting the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, you will contribute to Frazzled’s fundraising and development by providing administrative support and helping to organise events, meetings and reports.
Frazzled runs meetings throughout the day, from early in the morning until late in the evening seven days a week. The Project Support and Administrative Officer will be responsible for scheduling meetings and supporting our Facilitators with issues when they arise.

Summary of the role:

The Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager will oversee the development of existing high-net (HNW) donors and pipeline new high-net prospects. You will work closely with key Third Party supporters to establish our presence nationally.
A key part of their role will be to strategise to identify high-net donors and foster long term relationships so Muslim Aid is their charity of choice.
You will also work closely with fundraising and supporter services to organise tactical, innovative, bespoke and strategic events to meet the requirements of high-net donors and maximise major gifts like no other.
About the Role:
- Develop a three-year high-net donor strategy with stakeholders that drives long-term sustainable revenue and year on year growth.
- Develop short-, medium- and long-term strategies to maintain engagement, retention and increase revenue with existing and prospective donors that supports our organisational strategy.
- Develop a full Philanthropy & Legacy system to review fundraising forecasts, review progress and implement quarterly tactical activation plans to recover potential losses.
- Conduct market and internal analysis to identify novel funding prospects. Use innovative thinking to devise creative fundraising strategies and solve problems as they arise.
- Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy, aligning with our overarching objectives and CSR initiatives. Manage the budget to ensure maximum ROI on fundraising activities.
- Incorporate legal and regulatory standard into all fundraising activities design/delivery.
About You:
You must currently hold the right to work in the UK. Muslim Aid is not offering sponsorship for this role.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in fundraising, corporate relationship and/or high-net donor development.
- Proven track record in implementing corporate / business / high-net donor strategy and achieving challenging targets.
- Experience in public speaking and presenting information to executive level audiences.
- Knowledge of a wide range of fundraising mechanisms including CRM, sponsorship, brand association and employee fundraising.
- Interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with people at various levels.
- Highly developed negotiation skills.

You’ll recruit, train, and support volunteers who work with clients referred by health professionals, providing 9-week goal-focused support to keep them active and connected. This hands-on role involves home visits, building strong relationships, and seeing the real difference you make in older people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate referrals and link clients with trained volunteers.
- Support clients and volunteers throughout the 9-week programme.
- Recruit, train and supervise volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
- Work closely with NHS Community Independence and Rehab services.
- Keep accurate records, gather feedback and share impact stories.
- Promote inclusion and accessibility for all participants.

- Experience supporting or coordinating volunteers (desirable).
- Understanding of the challenges older people may face living alone.
- Great communicator – friendly, empathetic and organised.
- Confident with IT and record-keeping.
