Kentish Town Community Centre (KTCC) is looking for a Projects and Admin Coordinator for exciting new community project The Connection Centre here at KTCC. This is a very rewarding position working a wide variety of members of the community centre. This role will enable the We are looking for someone who is committed to providing an amazing standard of service for our the community. Your Role

Key responsibilities include

Community Engagement and Fundraising

• Develop relationships and apply to Leeds based groups for funding.

Regular Giving and Supporter Growth

• Promote and grow regular giving schemes within community networks.

• Support the Marketing Manager to develop messaging, materials and campaigns that encourage sustained support.

Supporter Data and Income Tracking

• Monitor and report on all income and supporter engagement, using the charity’s CRM.
• Ensure all activity is compliant with Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice and GDPR requirements.
• Set and monitor targets aligned with departmental KPIs and board reporting cycles.

It’s an exciting and important time for our charity as we work to help more people out of homelessness and poverty as part of an ambitious strategy.

As the Federation Development Lead, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth and development of the Emmaus movement within the UK, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement, and supporting the overall success of the federation. Our technology

We've got complex needs: recording, monitoring and reviewing information about our clients, with their informed consent. Our in-house web application acts as an electronic patient record, a case management system, a quality management system, and more - it's grown over the last 15 years!

We started out with a Perl application, and have improved it aggressively over the years. All our software is deployed using Docker containers using ECS; much of it using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Pulumi. Our data is stored in a serverless/autoscaling MySQL database.

Newer work is often written in TypeScript, using NestJS and SvelteKit. We’ll use a variety of testing tools in both languages: end-to-end, integration and unit testing are all covered.

About you!

An ideal candidate will have some familiarity with SQL: our team write queries often!

We’d love to see candidates with some strong knowledge of HTML and CSS beyond the basics. Debugging and testing experience is a must, in any language - we think that's a highly transferrable skill.

Prospectus is excited to be working with our client as they recruit a Grants and Bids Manager. The organisation is a charity helping people facing severe disadvantage to find jobs, homes and the right support they need. They help them to become positive contributors to local communities and wider society and they passionately believe everybody is capable of changing their lives.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £37,500 per annum. The postholder is expected to work 1 day a week at the office and the rest from home.  While the full-time role is 35 hours a week, they are happy to consider applicants seeking flexible and part-time working (minimum 28 hours).

The Grants and Bids Manager will manage statutory funding applications of five, six and seven figure multi-year income compliant with commissioner/funder requirements. You will be expected to write funding bids, applications and proposals and plan and chair proposal development meetings with key internal stakeholders, including Senior Management Team and Frontline Managers.

They are looking for someone with experience leading, managing and writing winning proposals/bids – this can be via foundations, trusts or statutory bodies. You will have experience of charity fundraising, have good written and verbal communication skills, and be able to bring together key stakeholders to collaborate on a project.  You will also be self-motivated and be able to demonstrate your passion and commitment to the organisation.
