Role Summary

The Programme officer role is a key component of a CEC wide initiative to ensure that national objectives and strategies are aligned across the business and implemented effectively and consistently across our Career Hubs infrastructure.

A key priority for this role will be supporting CEC’s and the government’s ambition for a new work experience guarantee to ensure that all pupils participate in 2 weeks’ worth of work experience by the time they leave year 11. The role will support specific programmes, pilots and activities that will be rolled out across Careers Hubs.

This role will play a key part in supporting the implementation of the programmatic strategy for Work Experience as well as other strands of work. It will support in helping to translate national initiatives and policy aligned with our strategic priorities into operational programmes delivered through our Network of Career Hubs. Priorities and programmes may change and flex over time but work experience will remain a priority theme.

To be successful in this role you will need to be a natural collaborator, a strong communicator and have strong organizational skills, and some function knowledge of our priorities.

The role will also contribute towards the wider success of the Network and Employers team supporting colleagues and areas outside of the designated area as required.

Within this role we would also offer a development opportunity for post holders not currently qualified in project management. Such employees would be offered the Associate project manager (level 4) apprenticeship, which is an 18-month development programme. This would be fully funded and paid for by CEC, you would be able to complete the qualification while in post in the Programme Officer role and you would also be given the appropriate release time each week for activities and tasks specifically related to gaining the qualification.

Role Overview

The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.

About You

You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required. 

Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home,  although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. There will also be other times when you’ll need to be in the office for fulfilment tasks or to attend meetings such as our ‘All Staff Together’ days four times a year and you will also be required to attend fundraising events.

Art Fund is seeking an experienced marketing and brand leader to drive membership for The National Art Pass.

As Head of Marketing for the National Art Pass, you’ll take ownership of a strategic, data-driven programme to recruit, engage and retain members, shaping the reach and impact on a national scale. JOB DESCRIPTION

Programme Leadership & Partnership Management

• Lead the delivery of core programmes and our international award, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, funding commitments, KPIs, and quality standards.
• Oversee programme planning, scheduling, logistics, and budget management with Programme Managers.
• Monitor delivery performance and budgets, ensuring effective processes and accurate reporting to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
• Ensure all programme activities meet agreed funding KPIs and deliverables.
• Work across the organisation, including closely with the Marketing & Communications team, to support effective delivery of programmes and partnerships.
• Support the Director of Programmes & Partnerships in developing and implementing a partnership strategy, cultivating new relationships to strengthen programme funding and delivery.

Reporting to the Head of Publishing and Scientific Engagement, you will have responsibility for developing content which supports the Society’s member value proposition project, our partnerships, publishing and events programmes; and create engaging content for various RMetS activities and stakeholders.

You will support the delivery of the Society’s career strategy working alongside our education team; lead our ECR and Youth special interest group; deliver RMetS early career initiatives such as our career events; and support Society committees and team members in ensuring early career representation and involvement across our programmes of work.

Amala’s mission is to use the power of education to transform the lives of young refugees, their communities and the world. We are a UK-registered charity delivering innovative educational programmes for displaced youth globally. We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented Governance Clerk to support our Board of Trustees and committees. In this flexible, remote role, you’ll ensure the smooth running of meetings, maintain accurate documentation, and compliance with governance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating and minuting Board and committee meetings

• Managing agendas, papers, and governance records

• Ensuring compliance with internal governance requirements and charity regulations

• Supporting trustee onboarding and development
   

Skills and experience

• Demonstrable experience of having successfully worked with charity boards and committees including writing agendas and concise and accurate minute taking

• Experience of maintaining systems and records in a governance or committee environment

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with excellent written English

• Familiarity with charity governance requirements and the UK Charity Governance Code

• Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement in handling sensitive information

• Comfort working independently and remotely; able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

• Company Secretary Experience desirable

• Experience with Google Workspace and basic formatting tools for paper packs preferred

You must have the legal right to work in the UK, and be available to attend one in-person meeting per year in or around London.

We’re looking for a collaborative digital leader to help shape and deliver Shelter’s digital products and services. You’ll work with teams across the organisation to prioritise the work that makes the biggest difference for the people who need us most, overseeing a talented group of Product and Delivery Managers to bring our digital vision to life. You’ll develop and manage digital roadmaps, and ensure our products are accessible, effective and aligned with Shelter’s goals. Working closely with our digital specialists and wider teams, you’ll help colleagues turn ideas into impactful digital solutions that support people facing housing injustice, inspire campaign action and drive donations.

Role specifics

You’ll be passionate about how user-focused digital services can change lives, with a drive to create the most effective and supportive products for people facing bad housing or homelessness. With experience in a senior digital product or delivery role – whether in-house or agency-side – you’ll bring strong agile planning skills and a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver impactful digital products. You’ll know how to lead cross-functional teams, turn insight into action through user research and metrics, and align digital work with strategic goals. A confident communicator and collaborator, you’ll build positive relationships, advocate for good digital practice, and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical colleagues. Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector, and an agile certification such as Scrum or Lean Kanban, would be a real bonus.

About the team

Reporting into Shelter’s Head of Digital (role currently vacant), this role oversees the work of our Digital Product Managers and Delivery Managers and sits within the Digital team alongside our front and back-end developers and QA testing capacity.

The Digital team sit alongside our Content and User Experience team, our Strategic Evaluation, Learning and Insight team and our CRM team, within Shelter’s Digital and Audience Engagement (DAE) sub-directorate. A background in international non-profits, consumer rights, or advocacy is desirable, and additional language skills (Arabic, French, Spanish) would be a bonus.
