Person Specification
- A practising Christian who is passionate about personally representing the Christian values of Resurgo and committed to Resurgo's mission to inspire and equip organisation to bring about ambitious and sustainable social change.
- Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
- Some knowledge of statutory fundraising is desirable but not essential.
- Extremely organised and efficient; calm under pressure, able to juggle competing deadlines and priorities, splitting time across multiple projects.
- Excellent people skills, able to relate well to colleagues of all seniority levels, freelancers, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management
- Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
- Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
- Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.
Write applications and reports
- Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
- Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
- Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
- Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner.
Data Management and Monitoring
- Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
- Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.
Line Management
- Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

The 2025 BES Annual Meeting will take place in Edinburgh 15-18 December, with a limited online programme delivered alongside the in-person event.

- Assist with collecting information for the online conference agenda
- Take ownership of a particular element of the Annual Meeting
- Assist in the set up and development of the online conference platform

- Support online sessions run through the online conference platform

Essential Responsibilities

About the Role
The focus of this permanent role is to manage the development and growth of the Strategic Programmes, in line with the organisations new strategy and core mission to end youth homelessness. As a charitable trust the core purpose includes distributing grants to create sustainable routes out of homelessness and into sustainable independent living for young people.
The Strategic Programmes’ team are responsible for brokering services for charity partners that broaden the offer above and beyond the core grants in three different areas:
- Pro Bono
- Employability
- Property Donation
The focus for all three programmes is now on their growth and the maximisation of their social impact. This follows a period of development and refresh for Pro Bono, and the successful piloting of the newer Employability and Property Donation programmes. All three programmes have proven to be successful, sustainable and scalable. This role is primarily concerned with maintaining the management of the programmes whilst working alongside the Head of Strategic Programmes to enhance them and expand their reach.
The charity relies heavily on the voluntary support of its corporate partners from the real estate industry and this role will work closely with these partners to maximise their contribution to the mission to end youth homelessness. The role will also require you to work closely with charity partners to ensure that the programmes deliver against their needs for maximum impact

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead a team of two to deliver exceptional and effective brand and marketing activity.

After ten successful years of growth, underpinned by a strong mission and successful fundraising, the Chineke! Foundation is looking for a Projects Director who will help ensure that the production and organisation of projects match their artistic ambition.
You will play an important role in the continued growth and evolution of the organisation. You will work closely with the Projects Team and lead on planning, selling and delivery. You will communicate the development of any new projects whilst overseeing the pre-existing engagements and work closely with our touring agents at Askonas Holt. Reporting to the Managing Director and working as part of our dynamic team of management staff you will play a vital role in the organisation.
Job description
Reporting to the Managing Director and in coordination with the Artistic Director and Deputy Artistic Director, you will handle the orchestra’s diary, lead on the production of projects and line manage the Orchestra & Tour Manager and our Production freelancers.
Your responsibilities will be:
· Attending all Chineke! rehearsals, projects and tours
· Working closely with the artistic team to assist on curation of programmes, keeping track of conductor/soloist invites and handling contracting once bookings have been confirmed
· Meeting with venues to generate interest in our future programmes and secure concert dates to build out regional tours around core Southbank Centre dates
· Keeping the Development Director and Marketing and Communications Manager up to date on projects and future plans
· Keeping track of our National Portfolio Organisation requirements with Arts Council and planning projects to meet our targets on the number of concerts in each category that we have committed to in each financial year
· Working closely with our important partners i.e. Askonas Holt, Southbank Centre, Woolwich Works, Royal Albert Hall
· Working closely with the Artistic Team and Managing Director to ensure that our performance plans align with our mission and 5 Year Development Plan
· Producing and negotiating contracts to engagements (conductors, soloists, with venues/festivals, tours, commercial engagements etc.)
· Contributing to a supportive and collegiate culture within the Chineke! Foundation
