The role

As Partner Engagement Manager you will promote the work of Family Fund and maintain a positive profile within the disability sector in Northern Ireland and with key Government/political stakeholders.

You will undertake a range of public affairs and policy activities that help sustain and grow our government funding and that secure positive outcomes for disabled children and their families. You will be acknowledged as a senior Family Fund representative across the disability sector, deputising for the Group CEO, or Directors on committees and at events as required.

You will also identify growth/income opportunities and feed through to relevant internal teams, providing follow up support, as required.

• Ensuring that Family Fund’s profile remains high amongst key organisations.
• Engaging with Ministers and MLAs to building awareness and support for Family Fund’s work.
• Family Fund’s key point of contact for all partners and stakeholders in Northern Ireland.
• Engaging in sector working groups and consortia to help secure improved support for families raising disabled children.
• Inputting to government policy development via consultations and direct work with government departments.
• Promoting the support offered by Family Fund to support demand generation, including targeted work in relation to our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion objectives.
• Supporting our Fundraising Team in identifying and securing funding opportunities that allow Family Fund to provide improved grants/information and support services to families.

About you 

For this role you will need to have experience of presenting to external stakeholders and representing an organisation in a professional capacity. Ideally you will have some knowledge/experience of public affairs or policy development work.

To be successful in this role you will need to be self-motivated and be able to engage positively with different teams. You must be flexible, adaptable and resilient to work demands and change. This post is home based with regular travel.

ACCT UK is a national youth charity dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. The Combined Cadet Force Association (CCFA) is a charity dedicated to the promotion of the ideals and activities of the Combined Cadet Force in schools. As a Future Frontiers Partnerships Manager, your role is to identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations which work with us to enable our mission. This is key to delivering our work and making a lasting difference for young people from under-resourced backgrounds on their education and career journeys. 

The focus of the role is on building meaningful, long-term relationships with schools and/or businesses, to match young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds with business professionals who can provide insight into the world of work and guidance to help young people unlock their aspirations and develop the plans and skills they need to be successful. 

Our Partnerships Managers each have a focus on a priority audience, either schools or businesses, and on an activity area, either new business development or account management. The role we are currently recruiting for will have a main focus on driving new business from companies. 

Your responsibilities

The focus of each role could expand or change depending on the needs of the organisation. Maintain relationships; renew and grow partnerships

• Explore opportunities to grow partnerships through working together in different ways and/or extending involvement to more pupils or colleagues

• Regularly request feedback and respond to suggestions from partners, helping them to feed involved and engaged with Future Frontiers’ work and development

Set up and enable successful partnership working

• Contribute to department-, directorate- and organisation-wide projects and priorities through membership of project groups or taking on pieces of work in line with your skills, experience and development objectives

About you

Experience and knowledge  

• Experience in a fundraising, sales or account management role, ideally working with businesses and/or schools (essential)

The Administrative Officer will play a key role in helping to ensure the smooth running of HEP’s operations, events, and communications, and in delivering the high-quality service that underpins our success.  This role reports jointly to the Operations Manager and the Lead for Digital and Communications. 

Key Responsibilities 

Administrative Support

• First point of contact for schools, clients, suppliers, and visitors triaging issues and responding efficiently and helpfully to queries in person, via phone, and by email
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks including maintaining records and supporting internal workflows and some internal team communications
• Monitoring of shared inboxes across various teams, addressing enquiries in a timely manner
• Work closely with the Operations, Comms, CPD and Curriculum teams to support projects and workstreams

Event / Visitor Coordination

• Prepare and manage meeting rooms and training venues liaising with trainers and delegates
• Assist with the planning and delivery of in-person and online events, including training sessions, conferences, and away days
• Creati event collateral in a professional and timely manner 

CPD Support

• Support with organising and hosting online and in-person training and courses
• Support with the development of CPD promotional material including brochures and flyers
• Support with uploading HEPs training programme and events onto website
• Support the technical and logistical setup for virtual meetings and webinars

Communications and Digital Support

• Website administration support, resolving member queries 
• Help in creation and distribution of communication materials, such as flyers, newsletters, brochures,podcasts and content for social media/digital channels
• Work with the Communications Team to ensure consistency in tone, branding, and messaging

Essential Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom, Mondaycom, Adobe Suite
• Good numeracy and data-handling skills
• Ability to manage time, prioritise effectively, and work flexibly across multiple tasks
• A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach to work
• A strong commitment to improving life chances for children and young people

Desirable Skills and Experience 

• Experience of working in or with schools or education settings
• Experience with event coordination or customer service
• Familiarity with maintaining websites and basic content management systems

Using platforms such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and Flourish, this role will help tell the important stories which emanate from the work of the Food Foundation. This could include publicising events, communicating report findings and raising awareness and addressing interesting topics that are relevant to the work of the charity. The role will be responsible for overseeing the creation and execution of design deliverables such as marketing materials, briefing documents, social media assets and webpages.

This role will also play a part in putting together content strategies, posting across our social media channels and supporting with the running of the busy press office when needed. They will ensure there is a vibrant, creative and relevant tone across all platforms and mediums. Working closely with the Senior Communications Manager, this person will be responsible for providing creative direction and guidance for design projects, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and the charity’s goals.

Delivering high-quality events for UK foundations

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive senior events manager to lead the delivery of our learning and events programme for a 12 month period.

This role is pivotal in ensuring excellence in how we deliver value to our members through events and learning.

We are looking to recruit a motivated and talented individual with strong project management skills to lead the delivery of the training function within the BSI. Reporting directly to the Director of Events and Training, and in collaboration with the wider BSI team, the Training Manager will be responsible for the delivery of existing training programmes and for devising, setting up and rolling out new training courses by working with BSI members to develop content and curricula, utilising different platforms from face-to-face to remote learning and supporting marketing of the courses to relevant sectors.

This role is responsible for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to help identify training needs and opportunities that the BSI can meet. This will include opportunities in several sectors including clinical, scientific and public/patient focused. Using strong commercial acumen, the Training Manager will be critical in the continued development and growth of the training function to generate significant new income for the BSI.
