We are looking for a highly skilled Programmes & Operations Manager with a minimum of three years’ administrative experience to provide professional, inclusive, and efficient administrative support across DanceSyndrome’s Community programme and operations. This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the weekly Community timetable, and all associated administrative processes, co-ordinating key systems, and ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to session bookings, CRM management, and team co-ordination.

Overview of the Philanthropy Manager role and the team

Barnabas Aid is seeking a proactive and experienced Philanthropy Manager to join our International Outreach team. This new role is integral to ensuring the growth and sustainability of our work through regular or one time organisational and personal donations. The Philanthropy Manager will develop and implement a comprehensive strategy in support of this, targeting potential supporters who wish to leave a lasting impact through Barnabas’ work. The role will involve cultivating relationships with current and prospective organisational and private UK based and international supporters, overseeing communications and marketing strategies, and ensuring that Barnabas Aid’s fund raising programme is promoted effectively across all channels.

As part of a dynamic fundraising team, the Philanthropy Manager will work closely with the Head of Campaigns, the Living Streams Officer, and the Head of Communications. The role will also involve engagement with donors, ensuring that Barnabas Aid is at the forefront of supporters' minds when it comes to making donations or leaving a legacy for future generations of Christians in need.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Fund Raising Strategy:
  •  Develop and implement a comprehensive donation, legacy marketing and stewardship strategy, with the aim of increasing the number of organisational, regular and one-off individual donations in addition to legacy gifts to Barnabas Aid.
  • Adherence to the Code of Fundraising Practice within this strategy.
• Fund Raising Marketing:
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns that inspire organisations and supporters to consider making one off or regular donations to Barnabas Aid. • Fundraising Expertise:

The Diocese of Rochester is committed to equipping its churches and leaders for growth and transformation. As part of this, we are seeking a Missional Development Parishes (MDP) Project Manager to join our Programme Team based at the Diocesan Office in Rochester.

The MDP Project Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of 15 strategically funded parish projects supported by the National Church. Working with the Head of Programmes, Diocesan colleagues, and parish representatives, the Project Manager will oversee planning, budgeting, governance, and reporting processes across the MDP project. This role will be vital in supporting parish leaders and PCCs to lead and deliver their local MDP initiatives effectively.

The successful applicant will be an experienced and highly organised project manager, with excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to manage risk, track project outcomes, and support change across a variety of contexts. A background in monitoring and evaluation is important, and a desire to serve the mission of the Church will be key to thriving in this role. Experience of working with Church of England structures is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

· Build strong working relationships with the 15 MDPs, acting as a governance and communications link with the Diocesan MDP Project Board

· Oversee and report on progress, risks, outcomes, and finances across all MDP projects

· Track progress against milestones and budgets, escalating risks and managing changes as needed

· Support the sharing of learning and success stories in collaboration with the Communications Officer and Mission and Ministry Development team

The Benefits Service within South East London Mind is a well-established offer of support to clients who need to access welfare benefits they are entitled to receive. The service currently provides casework support for people who need to challenge benefits decisions across the three boroughs of Bromley, Lewisham and Greenwich. There is also a cross-area team of volunteers who assist with form filling and all aspects of the assessment process.

We are looking for a Benefits Service Manager with significant experience of working within welfare benefits. You will have a good understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems and the links with welfare issues. You will take responsibility for the quality of support the team deliver to ensure it is robust and accountable. We hope to be able to extend our offer of support in the future so it will be important you have an interest in developing the service.

About the Role

The two Communications Officers will work closely and collaboratively to help deliver the diocesan strategy and tell the story of the diverse church communities in the Diocese.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To manage, lead and support the Fundraising and Communications Team to retain donors, increase income and provide clear direction for our communications. • Establish a database for external stakeholders also supporting those living with Duchenne on a national basis, fed in to from the Support Team.

• To develop a triaging and caseload process for the Support Team, and how best to regularly monitor this.

• Be involved in the recruitment, selection, and induction of volunteers appropriate to your area of work. 

• Coordinate cover for the Support Team when there is sickness or leave.

This role will have a key part to play in enabling the planned growth in the charity in the coming years.

As a member of the newly formed development team this is an exciting opportunity to grow our expertise and provide support to the Development Director in the following areas: fundraising, business/charity development, communications, marketing.

Senior Communications Officer

We are looking for a creative and strategic communicator to shape the voice of the UK’s National Trails.

Position: Senior Communications Officer
Salary: £32,000 FTE (4 days/week)
Location: Remote, with occasional UK travel
Contract: Part-time (4 days/week), 1-year fixed term

About the Role

As Senior Communications Officer, you will lead on delivering a bold, inclusive communications strategy, raising the profile of the UK’s National Trails and building awareness of their value for people, places and nature.

You’ll create and manage inspiring, accessible campaigns across digital, social and press channels; support National Trail teams across the UK with comms advice; and help shape public and stakeholder engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to be the voice of a small, national organisation making a big impact.

Key Responsibilities Include:

· Deliver creative, multi-channel communications

· Manage digital channels including the website, LinkedIn and Instagram

· Write and distribute newsletters and member communications

· Develop press relationships, draft media content and secure coverage

· Lead a Communications Special Interest Group across National Trail teams

· Provide accessible comms advice to member organisations

· Support campaigns and events that influence public policy and stakeholder awareness

· Promote representation and inclusion across all content

About You

You’ll be a passionate storyteller with a flair for strategic communications and a commitment to inclusion and representation. Comfortable juggling day-to-day delivery with long-term planning, you’ll be just as happy drafting a press release as coordinating a campaign or advising trail partners.

You will bring:

· Experience of communications delivery across social and press

· Excellent writing, editing and content creation skills

· Knowledge of inclusive and accessible communication practices

· Strong media relations and public engagement experience

· Confidence working independently and with multiple stakeholders

· A passion for the outdoors and increasing access for all

Desirable:

· Experience with membership organisations

· Knowledge of outdoor recreation, heritage or protected landscapes

· Familiarity with policy communications or stakeholder engagement

About you

We are looking for a skilled and experienced contract management professional with a strong understanding of third sector commissioning and service delivery. You will have a proven ability to manage and monitor complex contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and funding conditions. You’ll be confident in building and maintaining relationships with commissioners, funders, and delivery partners.

You will be highly numerate, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to produce clear, insightful reports that demonstrate impact, value for money, and continuous improvement. You’ll be comfortable working with data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and will support operational teams to address underperformance and drive service excellence.

We are looking for someone who can balance the retention of existing contracts with a proactive approach to identifying and supporting new opportunities for growth and innovation in the third sector.

 How are staff supported to work remotely? 

VoiceAbility has a small number of offices. All Employees are homebased meetings will be held online as well as in person in the relevant community.

Finance & Operations Manager

As part of this work, our Finance & Operations Team engages with a wide range of people to support the Trust’s vision for Gloucestershire, and our Finance & Operations Manager is integral to this.

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to provide effective financial management, accurate financial reporting and oversee the facilities management of the Trust’s offices. The Finance & Operations Manager will manage a team of 2 and be part of the Trust’s People Manager Team.

Contract terms:

• This role is permanent, and we welcome applications from people looking for full time hours (37.5hrs per week), we will also consider for a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Summary of key duties:

Financial Management and Reporting

• Develop, implement and operate monitoring systems for financial forecasting and re-forecasting to support sound decision making.
• Lead on and co-ordinate the annual budgeting and planning process ensuring that information is collected, compiled and reported in a timely manner to the Leadership Team for review and recommendation to the Finance & Audit Committee.
• Produce quarterly and annual internal finance report and management accounts for reporting to the Leadership Team and Finance & Audit Committee, which summarise budget trends, analyse and report variance.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, through liaisons with the Trust’s external auditors for preparing of the SORP financial statements.

Policy and Procedures

• Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of effective procurement policies, procedures and systems ensuring best value is achieved across all activities.
• Lead on the annual insurance renewal process, ensuring appropriate cover is in place and general administration of the Trust’s insurance policies is enacted.

Payroll

• Maintain payroll processing system and run the monthly payroll.

Facilities Management

• Support the development of a 5 year planned preventative maintenance plan for the Trust’s premises, to support budget and resource planning.
• Oversee the management of the Trust’s premises ensuring contracts are in place and appropriately managed to ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the building and that all health and safety requirements are met.

Line management responsibilities

• Provide line management to the Finance Co-ordinator and Workplace & Facilities Manager, enacting the Trust’s management processes to ensure that all employees are motivated, supported and enabled to give of their best.
• Contribute to Trust-wide people management policies, procedures and team culture as a member of the People Manger Team.

Essential Knowledge and Experience 

• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or experience to this level (E).
• Practical knowledge and understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of budgeting and financial forecasting and preparation of financial reports for senior management and compliance purposes.
• Line management experience to foster a productive and supportive team environment.

Summary of skills

• Strong numerical and analytical skills to effectively analyse financial reports.
• Proactive problem-solver, demonstrating high levels of initiative, organisation and flexibility.
• Ability to work meticulously and methodically, demonstrating attention to detail.
