The Commonwealth War Graves Foundation (CWGF) is the charitable arm of the CWGC. The CWGF highlights the work of the CWGC through projects that engage new audiences and find innovative ways to involve the community - through education and outreach, voluntary activity, arts and heritage projects, local research and partnership working.
What you'll be doing
We have a grand opportunity for someone looking to grow their charity experience - As our Fundraising Officer, you'll generate income by creating exceptional written applications and reports. To do this, you'll dive into research, keeping tabs on all fundraising opportunities, as well as crafting strong grant proposals, which is a key aspect of this role. You'll also need to bring in new corporate supporters by building new relationships/sponsorships as well as maintaining existing ones.
In this dynamic team, you'll plan costing, and execute various activities for a charity experiencing an invigorating period of expansion. The role encourages autonomy for you to help move the foundation forward, giving you visibility to own it by working with different people within the organisation to help our foundation grow.
What you need to have
- Experience of securing significant income from partnerships with trusts, corporates, and/or foundations
- Organised, independent, easily multitask, good timekeeping, and deadline-driven
- Excellent communication/customer skills, especially with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to build strong and meaningful relationships
- Experience of working with databases

Join Global’s Make Some Noise as our Senior Brand Partnerships Executive and be at the forefront of driving fundraising income through securing and account managing corporate partnerships. You'll be instrumental in driving new business fundraising income through securing purpose-led media partnerships, in aid of our charity Make Some Noise.
Guide Salary:
The salary for this role is circa £28,000.

Measures of success –
In the first few months, you would have:

Secured substantial new partnership income by crafting compelling proposals, with particular focus on sponsorships for our flagship annual appeal "Make Some Noise Day."

Developed a solid understanding of Global’s Radio, Digital, and Outdoor platforms in order to leverage them effectively for charity partnership campaigns.

Provided exceptional account management and smooth project implementation, ensuring partnership deliverables align with key objectives.
Responsibilities of the role
-
Be responsible for securing a fixed amount of new business income annually. Identify and secure new high-value partners through proactive prospecting, engaging pitches, and effective relationship building.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders for seamless partnership delivery, including Campaigns, Talent, Finance, Legal, Commercial planning and more.

Brainstorm creative branded content ideas and partnership solutions to meet both proactive and reactive briefs.

Produce comprehensive post-campaign partnership reports to summarize activities to highlight key learnings and recommendations.

Diligently manage partnership accounts, providing materials, resources, contracts and project plans as required.

Provide support to Head of Brand Partnerships on all projects and practice adaptability according to external and internal priorities.

Develop strong working relationships and exceed expectations with partners secure repeat business.

Produce compelling case studies and pitch documents to support new business endeavours and potential award entries.

Support with financial reporting, income tracking and forecasting.
What you will need
- Proven track record of creating new business pipelines and meeting ambitious fundraising / sales targets, with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management abilities, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Passion for pitching to big brands, coupled with strong design and copywriting skills.

Research Co-ordinator
12-month Fixed Term Contract - Part time, 22.2 hours per week

Location: This role can be based at any one of the Arts Council of Wales offices in Cardiff, Colwyn Bay or Carmarthen. We are currently working in a hybrid way.
Our benefits include 30 days annual leave, 2.5 privilege days, flexible working hours/pattern, cycle to work scheme and a final salary pension (6%).
We are looking for a Research Co-ordinator to assist with the collection, compilation, analysis and presentation of data. The Research Co-ordinator will be able to aid in the provision of information and data that helps us to assess how effective we are being in meeting our objectives. This information can also be used to provide a wider understanding of the impact of the Arts Council’s funding, and of the activities that it supports.
As a public body, the Arts Council strives to manage its affairs to the highest standards of effectiveness and accountability. The Research Co-ordinator contributes to the Research & Evaluation team in achieving that goal.
The successful candidate will hold a qualification in a relevant discipline containing formal training in statistical theory and research methods, and/or have significant experience with demonstrable ability in a statistics related field.
The ability to work on own initiative and prioritise, working effectively under pressure is essential along with good communication skills and a commitment to high standards of customer care.
Welsh language
We work in both English and Welsh. Fluency in Welsh (both written and spoken) is desirable but not essential for this post. Upon appointment we can support you to learn, develop and improve your language skills and to increase your confidence in speaking and writing in Welsh.
