The ideal candidate will have;

• Experience commissioning robust qualitative and quantitative research.
• Experience using research findings and evidence to develop robust policy positions and respond to high-profile Government consultations.
• Experience proactively identifying opportunities to influence.
• Ability to facilitate sensitive internal conversations to reach a point of consensus on policy positions.
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders in Government, industry, and other charities and foundations.
• Exceptional written and oral influencing skills, including the judicious use of data and evidence and the compelling presentation of the case for change.

Responsible for ensuring financial controls, processes and systems are updated and effectively implemented, the Finance Manager will create accurate, regular reporting ensuring adequate financial forecasting, as well as ensuring that the organisation remains financially compliant, and they will be instrumental within the organisation in supporting scale and growth at Hope Street.

This is an exciting time for the charity and an excellent opportunity for a skilled Finance Manager who:

· Holds an acounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA) part or fully qualified or qualified by experience.

· Has strong budgeting/forecasting and at least two years financial & systems management experience, with experience of producing management accounts, budget planning and financial monitoring processes.

· Has experience of working in or with the not-for-profit sector and housing sector.

· Can demonstrate exceptional budgeting skills with experience of managing complex funding sources.

· Has highly developed interpersonal & team-working skills with a positive, flexible & can-do attitude, strong leadership & communication skills, with the ability to develop policies/procedures and convey complex financial control concepts to non-finance colleagues in both verbal and written format.

· Is resourceful, practical with an approach to problem-solving, with the ability to plan, prioritise and maintain efficiency during periods of pressure and high volume of work

You will have advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Sage Payroll software and of the benefits system, tax credits and universal credits.

Previous experience of the following would be an advantage, but is not essential as training can be provided:

Joining a small national team, the Business Partnerships Manager for London will support the London and national Tempo team to expand and deepen the networks of community, public and private sector programmes and to develop new opportunities and partnerships in London.

Key responsibilities:

• Regional Recognition Network Development: You will develop regional recognition opportunities with potential partners, attract a diverse range of regional partners aligned with Tempo funders' objectives, and ensure network variety meets programme and beneficiary needs.
• Lead Generation: You will promote Tempo's work through events and communications, identify and approach new business leads, attend events, present, and network, and coordinate business development enquiries and attend and pitch Time Credits in meetings.
• Management of the London Recognition Network: You will ensure the effective management of the Network, including partner communications and regular network audits, provide leadership for recognition communications, such as newsletters, marketing materials, and social media, contribute to reporting and provide data and evidence, and manage existing partner relationships.
• Support Network Sustainability and Development: You will facilitate local events, trips, and networking meetings, and support innovation, learning, and development across the network.

The Business Partnerships Manager will need to be innovative with ideas and approaches to grow and maintain partnerships. The successful candidate will need to be a good listener and people person as partnerships will be driven by the needs of the volunteers and community members and will have a genuine passion for supporting the development of individuals and organisations. You will be a natural team player to work alongside team members to deliver training and network events and will have excellent and adaptable communication skills. You will be collaborative and collegiate with a willingness to contribute to and strengthen a strong team culture to empower team members to lead and develop, and be an articulate and confident presenter, able to bring stakeholders together at the highest levels to unlock problems with strong skills of persuasion. Strong experience of improving processes and procedures in grant management is key and experience of capital projects/spend out of a fund would be helpful but not essential

The role:

The post holder will prepare all finance papers for Board and Finance and Investment Subcommittee meetings and will support the oversight of the Foundations’ investment portfolios. The person

The successful applicant will have a detailed knowledge of accounting principles, ideally with experience of the charitable sector, and a strong track record of day-to-day financial management in a comparable role. You will have strong analytical skills and be able to demonstrate both operational and strategic thinking. You will have a proficiency in accounting (with a relevant finance qualification) and will be able to evidence the successful production of annual accounts and monthly reporting, ensuring monitoring against budgets. Additionally, you will have strong analytical and reporting skills, exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication and presentation skills, and hands-on experience of explaining complex financial information clearly and concisely. Finally, you will have a high degree of humility and a collaborative style and will be able to pro-actively manage a diverse workload on your own initiative.

Senior Media and Campaign Manager

Hospice UK are looking for someone who is collaborative, has superb news judgement and who is able to pivot quickly from project to project and story to story. You'll need a softness of touch when working with storytellers and hospice colleagues, and the patience and pragmatism to work with internal and external colleagues. You'll need to be decisive, and able to explain complex decisions to journalists and senior management. As well as strong media relations skills, we're looking for someone with a wider understanding of the full communications and marketing mix, and who will have some oversight and strategic control of the charity's digital channels.

As Trusts and Foundations Manager, you will advise, develop and implement a strategy to secure income, and build a sustainable income stream, from charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory bodies as part of the overall fundraising strategy. You will proactively prospect research to identify potential charitable trusts, National Lottery and statutory bodies funding streams with a view to securing restricted and unrestricted income for core activity and for new programmes of work. You will lead on the preparation of funding bids, planning and managing the process, working with the Director of Communications and Fundraising and/or the Head of Fundraising as appropriate. You will also be responsible for the account management of trust, lottery and statutory grants; ensuring that reporting is on-time, compliant with grant terms and conditions, professional and of high quality.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Proven experience of writing successful and compelling proposals and applications to Trusts and Foundations and securing multi year funding
• Experience of working across an organisation to develop fundraising bids and reports
• Ability to undertake high quality research to identify potential trusts and foundation prospects

We are on the lookout for a fantastic Events Project Manager to help our healthcare client on an interim basis for a 6-month contract role.
The post holder will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering one their biggest annual events and ensuring the project is completed according to the allocated budget and timeline.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• Assume the lead operational role on the project and develop, oversee and manage the end-to-end project plan for the award scheme and event.
• Launch and manage the nomination process internally and externally.
• Manage and lead the judging panel process.
• Plan and execute the award ceremony event including: administration of invitations and management of the attendee list; scope and book the venue and finalise the contract including audio visual arrangements; confirm catering requirements, logistics, entertainment and table decoration; agree the event programme and speakers.
• Work closely with the small project team to lead the project, problem solve and ensure that tasks are delivered on budget and to the desired timescale. 
• Negotiate and effectively manage relationships with the venue and suppliers.
• Work closely with the communications team to promote the awards scheme, generate nominations and ensure that internal and external stakeholders are engaged
• Recruit, manage, coordinate and oversee event volunteers.
• Maintain the budget and ensure milestones are met according to the agreed timeline.
• Manage, negotiate and implement contracts with external providers and suppliers.

What’s on offer:
