As a Marketing and Communications Officer, you'll leverage your creativity and proficiency in copywriting and editing across a variety of digital platforms. You'll report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager and collaborate closely with the Digital Content Officer, ensuring that the right content reaches the right audiences and our digital channels achieve optimal engagement and growth.

About you

You are a creative and analytical Marketing and Communications Officer, skilled at using digital marketing to build brand engagement and grow audience reach.

You have experience curating engaging content for websites and newsletters and developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with others.

Your understanding of user journeys and SEO will ensure that Youth Music’s new website is impactful, current and audience focused. Tasked with supporting projects from concept to completion, your organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines will be critical to your success.

You also excel in liaising with agencies and partners, and your analytical skills enable you to create reports and use data to inform marketing plans.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a regular flow of engaging content for our websites and newsletters, ensuring consistency and audience engagement.
• Write copy for the website, newsletters, and occasionally for social media. Ensure all copy is engaging, informative, and tailored to the intended audience.
• Regularly update and maintain the company website. Liaise with internal partners to ensure all content is current and relevant.
• Support the development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Digital Content Officer (DCO) and the Digital Marketing Manager (DMM).
• Coordinate closely with website, content, and Google Ads Grant agencies to ensure seamless alignment with Youth Music’s digital marketing strategy.
• Work with the DMM and DCO to create detailed monthly and ad-hoc reports. Analyse data to gauge the effectiveness of marketing plans and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement SEO strategies to improve the visibility and ranking of the company’s website. Stay updated with SEO best practices and adjust website content accordingly.
• Provide support to the Head of Marketing and Communications with PR tasks.
• Collaborate with the Insights team to interpret data collected from marketing campaigns, the grants programme and audience research. And optimise our use of databases, ensuring the highest quality of data is maintained on Mailchimp for more effective newsletter targeting and distribution.

About the role

The Global Communications Officer will help boost Compassion’s international media profile and campaigns through traditional media, social media, and other communication channels. You will generate international media coverage, use breaking stories to drive our campaigns and polices, sell-in stories, produce content across a range of channels, and be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of our global media coverage. You will also help support the coordination of the media work in our country offices and take part in our out-of-hours on-call rota.

About you

This post requires a passionate, confident and creative communications professional who works well in a team. You will need some previous experience in a busy press office or newsroom, a keen news sense, excellent writing skills, an eye for detail, and be able to work to tight deadlines. A good understanding of both traditional media and social media is essential. Candidates should also possess a keen interest in animal welfare and environmental issues. A second language, in addition to English, would be an advantage as you will be working closely with our teams across Europe and beyond.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled digital content creator who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment. The Digital Content and Communications Officer (DCCO) reports to the Digital Communications Manager and has responsibility for the SAT-7 UK website, digital marketing and social media. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Website: Developing and updating SAT-7’s websites as inspiring platforms to raise profile, income and engagement.

Emails: Work with colleagues in the Communications Team and across the organisation to build, test and send responsive email templates for all SAT-7 UK’s email requirements (meeting SAT-7’s brand guidelines and conforming to industry standards). Use email marketing tool DotDigital to develop automated communications that strengthen supporter engagement and convert recipients into committed donors.

Content: Deliver engaging and inspiring rich media content across a range of digital channels, including web, email, podcasts, social media and other digital marketing platforms.

The Communications department at Alzheimer’s Research UK informs, inspires and engages the public about dementia and the progress being made in research. This role sits within the Campaigns & Projects team, one of several specialist teams in the wider department.

The Communications and Content Officer will play a vital role in shaping and growing strategically important communications projects that aim to build understanding of dementia and support for research.

They will be responsible for maximising the impact of Alzheimer’s Research UK’s external news content and other digital comms activity to engage existing supporters and attract new ones. About the role: 

Crimestoppers is looking for a talented Marketing Communications Assistant to work with our Marketing Communications Manager to deliver online and offline, internal and external marketing communications activity in order to increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation.

You will support the delivery of internal, volunteering, regional and business growth and fundraising communications plans, internal communications activity, and managing multi-channel campaigns, including the website, e-mail, e-shots, and digital channels in-order-to achieve campaign objectives.

Key responsibilities of our Marketing Communications Assistant:

• Working closely with the Marketing Communication Manager/and wider marcomms team to deliver online and offline marketing communications activity to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation
• Liaising with third party suppliers and agencies to ensure requirements are delivered on time and within budget
• Working with business development and regional colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns and provide the appropriate reporting metrics
• Acting as a brand guardian across all Crimestoppers’ communications and assets

What we're looking for in our Marketing Communications Assistant:

• Graduate or relevant experience in Journalism/marketing or communications
• A post graduate marketing qualification (or working towards one) (Desirable)
• Excellent communications skills and a good eye for detail
• Good knowledge of current best practice in marketing including the use of digital media
• Strong writer who can adapt tone of voice for different audiences
• The ability to use and have experience of Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• The ability to use own initiative and know when to refer issues up to a more senior level
