Purpose of the Role:
This is a key role to work with an exciting community taking lead responsibility for the looking after key aspects of existing and new membership. You will be working alongside an experienced team supporting the Liberal Jewish Synagogue, the largest Liberal Synagogue in the UK, to be the best it can be.
Your role will touch all aspects of the synagogue with a particular focus on looking after new members, the membership process and members in general, acting as a key conduit to ensure that our members receive the best service we can provide. You will also ensure that ourCRM system is up to date and important data and information can be pulled form it.
You will support bereaved families in the immediate aftermath of a death by organising funerals, shivas and stone-settings.
Additionally you will support our Senior Rabbi in her work including diary management and ensuring, working alongside others, that life cycle and important religious festivals are being managed and delivered to the highest standards.
Senior Rabbi PA
Support the Senior Rabbi in all aspect of their work to include:-
o Administrative and secretarial support for the Senior Rabbi including correspondence, diary management and to act as their first point of contact for enquiries by phone, email and in person
o Liaise and work alongside the member of staff (Office Administrator) who is PA for the other Rabbis and supporting when necessary
o Meet with Senior Rabbi regularly to review weekly diary, plan for the future and complete event forms
o Work closely with the Office Administrator (who organises all internal and life cycle events) to develop efficient procedures, printing and systems to ensure organisation of all life cycle events (including baby blessings, Bar-Bat Mitzvahs, Kabbalat Torah, weddings and mixed faith blessings, conversion, admission ceremonies).
o Assist with planning and coordination of events generated by the Senior Rabbi
o Keep timetables of all life cycle events coordinating with office staff to ensure these events and linked celebrations are delivered effectively
o Keep a tracking system that logs where proselytes are on their conversion journey.
o Liaise with the LJS Community Care Co-ordinator and other contacts over pastoral and other issues being dealt with by the Senior Rabbi.
o Circulate the services calendar and the Bar/Bat Mitzvah schedule of dates
o Support the volunteers who coordinate the mitzvot
o Assist in the organisation of the High Holy Days particularly in co-ordinating all mitzvot
o Assist the Senior Rabbi and the office in the organisation of interfaith/multifaith and other events including the sending out invitations and co-ordinating response
o Ensure that thank you letters for donations, yahrzeits and other acknowledgements are prepared and signed by the Senior Rabbi
o Complete the weekly yahrzeit list
o Complete administration support for the Bereavement Support
o Any other duties which may be reasonably requested by the Senior Rabbi and Executive Director.
o Funeral Coordinator
o To co-ordinate the administration of funerals (burials and cremations) for members and non-members.
o To liaise with the family/estate, rabbis, funeral directors, cemetery/crematorium or others as necessary in making the arrangements.
o To provide details of cost to the person organising the funeral.
o To prepare funeral and related invoices in consultation with the Financial Controller.
o To organise consecrations and arrange interments of ashes and ordering of memorial plaques.
o To administer the burial of non-members, including preparing invoices and dealing with payments for the burials.
o To administer the allocation of graves, reservations and columbarium
o To prepare condolence letters for Rabbis.
o To send out electronic Bereavement Notifications
o To respond to requests from the public for plot locations and information on the cemetery.
o To provide annual statistical information on burials and cremations for Liberal Judaism and the Board of Deputies.
o To ensure and promote the maintenance of graves as requested by families
o Send out the biennial Memorial Service for the Loss of a Child and the Loss of the Prospect of a Child.
Membership Coordinator:
o Administer and coordinate the membership process from receipt of a new application including liaising with the applicant, the Financial Controller and the Rabbis
o Maintain the appropriate Council reports for new members and resignations
o Send welcome letters and packs to new members
o Send resignation letters to members
o Ensure the CRM (ShulCloud) system is up to date (training will be provided) with members’ details, and their journey through the membership process including adding new members, resigning members, changing their status in respect of age membership changes and so on.
o Produce ShulCloud (CRM) reports
o Ensure ShulCloud (CRM) is maintained and up to date
o Work closely with staff to support contact with members in respect of volunteering, marketing, High Holy Day ticketing, the creation of mail merges and the AGM
o Be a ‘superuser’ of the ShulCloud, working closely with the ShulCloud consultant, understanding and learning what the system can do and supporting others to use it.
o Work alongside other areas that involve links to membership i.e. education
o Any other relevant tasks as requested
Personal Specifications:
Prior administrative or personal assistant experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Proficiency with office software (i.e. Microsoft Office)
Experience of using ShulCloud CRM system would be beneficial but not essential (training will be provided)
Comfortable working in a Progressive Jewish religious environment; familiarity with Jewish customs and terminology
Flexibility to work occasional evenings/weekends during holidays or events
An understanding of how a CRM system can be used to provide data and information and enhance membership experience

Purpose of Role
As Digital Fundraising Lead you’ll oversee Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising & Engagement programme, from strategy to delivery; managing and developing a team of high performing colleagues. You’ll be role modelling and leading expert collaboration across the organisation, and with partner organisations, to deliver integrated digital fundraising and audience engagement growth in line with organisational objectives.
As a digital first organisation, a significant proportion of Comic Relief’s fundraising and public engagement is delivered via digital channels. In this high impact role, you will lead individuals and cross-organisational project teams to innovate, optimise and execute digital strategies and activities including shaping web UX journey’s; designing email communications and integrated digital media campaigns (including media targeting and digital content); and leading product and proposition development, all to deliver agreed annual income targets from a growing active supporter base. Championing innovation, robust test and learn and performance marketing methodologies, the Digital Fundraising Lead will ensure Comic Relief’s investments in digital fundraising and engagement deliver maximum gains towards a just world free from poverty.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
· Lead the strategy setting; annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s Digital Fundraising and Engagement activity, including keeping abreast of external trends; innovations and digital developments and exploring how these factor into Comic Relief’s objectives; building financial models, developing business cases, setting and monitoring budgets and managing reforecasts throughout the year.
· Where appropriate, bring x-organisational project teams together to strategise, plan and deliver digital fundraising and engagement change projects.
Delivery & Performance
· Working as a lead within the Public Activation & Individual Giving team, work with the team and wider organisation to champion digital innovation and performance optimisation, specifically leveraging new technologies, tools, approaches and data-driven insights to ensure digital communications and experiences are appropriately targeted, designed and delivered in a way that maximises audience growth, engagement and income; return on investment and / or life time value in line with agreed objectives.
· Ensure a robust and continuous test and learn methodology is applied across the team; results and learnings are recorded, systematically actioned and shared for maximum impact.
· Bring teams together to ensure our Digital Fundraising and Engagement strategies and plans are aligned with organisational capabilities and priorities and
oversee direct interventions to take advantage of opportunities; solve problems and mitigate risks to delivery and performance.
· Lead stakeholders across the organisation, unifying separate digital fundraising and engagement campaigns and activities (paid, owned and earned) to ensure digital efforts and investments are integrated and streamlined to maximise effectiveness and efficiency in delivering organisational goals. This includes collaborating to optimise the website and use of social channels to drive agreed data acquisition, supporter engagement and income KPI’s.
· Accountable for Comic Relief’s:
- development of agreed digital campaigns, content, products and propositions and their performance against agreed organisational objectives and KPI’s.
- paid digital media programme, including the contractual and performance management of external digital agencies, specifically paid digital media, ensuring value for money and delivery to agreed KPI’s. This includes coaching and supporting the Digital Growth Manager to inspire, optimise, manage and evaluate supplier performance.
- email marketing strategy, including strategic use of marketing cloud and integration with CRM to maximise engagement and fundraising, through effective segmentation, targeting and personalisation of audiences and messages. Coach and support the Email / Digital Officer(s) to continuously test, optimise and evolve email activities to achieve agreed KPI’s.
- use of digital data (including GA4) to inform the development and optimisation of user experience and supporter journeys.
- Operate as primary point of contact with BBC Marketing and other partners, specifically in relation to digital fundraising strategies, retaining accountability for the development of Red Nose Day web pages, supplying content and performance tracking.
Leadership & Management
· Manage and coach a team of digital fundraisers to execute fundraising, (acquisition and engagement), activity across digital channels to deliver against agreed plans and objectives to time and to budget, specifically focussed on the UK public audience: individuals and communities of individuals (including schools and workplaces).
· Foster a culture of high performance and build organisational expertise through a structured test, learn and iterate approach where data, learning and insight is used to make informed decisions and implemented swiftly to ensure ongoing optimisation.
· Maintain regular two-way communication and dialogue with staff and peers, ensuring information is cascaded and escalated as needed.

Person specification
Essential criteria
· Experience of designing, implementing and optimising digital strategies and user journeys to achieve ambitious B2C sales/fundraising outcomes for a high profile brand.
· Significant experience of paid, owned and earned digital channel planning and delivery; media buying and performance management, including attribution modelling/tracking.
· Extensive knowledge and proven technical experience of using Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM); Email Service Providers (ESP) and Google Analytics (GA4) & associated systems to optimise engagement and income.
· Experience of designing and leading the development and execution of digital products and content for defined audience segments based on data insight.
· Experience of defining digital strategy and designing and managing budgets including planning, building and managing detailed, annual and campaign models and budgets.
· Proven team leadership, line manager and effective relationship builder with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different styles and ways of working. Able to demonstrate a coaching approach to effectively manage and motivate a team.
· Effective relationship builder with the ability to influence stakeholders and partners with proven evidence of leading and working effectively in cross-functional digital project teams to deliver organisational goals from high impact below the line public campaigns.
· Good working knowledge of regulatory requirements related to digital marketing activities, including GDPR; PECR and advertising standards.

We are now looking to strengthen our Fundraising Team. Although we are open to a variety of candidate experience, the overall team must be absolutely focused on achieving successful grants applications and Fundraising that delivers no less than £185k p/a, and significantly more to meet our growth aspirations.
So, you could have a proven track record of fundraising and providing accurate forecasting to CEO and Trustees with a good knowledge of, and existing relationships with foundations and grant-giving organisations, or, you might be a strong administrator, ideally with some experience of managing the full life cycle of a grant applications. All team members are expected to own and progress multiple Grant applications and own a fundraising target of thier own
We are looking for up to 2 people to join our fundraising team. These are part time roles (max hrs expected to be 18hrs) depending on applicant. Ideally we are looking for one very senior experienced Fundraising Manager (and minimum salary will be adjusted accordingly) and one Grant Administrator but overall team success is key and org structure can be adjusted accordingly.
Location: is flexible but applicants must be prepared to be in the office in Farnham with the rest of the Fundraising team and Director of Services at least half a day a week

Working within an experienced, successful and highly committed department, this role will create, deliver and implement the strategy for the Membership Programmes (Friends and Patrons) at the Royal Ballet and Opera (RBO), to meet agreed annual income targets (currently £10m in membership fees and events). Suffolk Wildlife Trust is seeking a Membership Assistant to support the delivery of an exceptional experience for our 27,000 members and help drive our mission to bring nature back to Suffolk. This role is central to the effective administration of our membership schemes, ensuring that members feel valued and connected to the work of the Trust.
The Membership Assistant will manage the day-to-day processing of memberships, including maintaining accurate records in our CRM system (Charity CRM by Access), handling payments and Gift Aid, responding to member enquiries & issuing welcome packs and renewal reminders. Working closely with the Senior Supporter Development Officer, they will help improve and streamline our systems, contributing to membership growth and retention.

About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Trauma Informed Therapist to join the team. Leading peer-mentoring support to trauma-informed therapists while delivering trauma-informed therapeutic services. We are a dynamic service with a holistic service model, so the senior role is supporting wider than just direct delivery.
You'll play a key role in supporting clients, managing communications, supporting volunteers/placements. You will work closely with our Community Development and Criminal Justice Services teams to ensure survivors have access to the right support. All staff have a Thematic Leadership area to expand the organisations knowledge in areas impacting male survivors and their loved ones.
About You
You’ll be someone who is a qualified and experienced therapist working with trauma. We’re especially keen to hear from people with experience in working with men, sexual harms and supporting therapists and trainees, but we value transferable skills too.
