If so, you may be just the person we are looking for to take the lead on developing our newly awarded supported living service based in the Harrow and Wembley area.

Based across two properties, you and your team will be supporting ten adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, as well as additional mental and physical health needs.

You will play a pivotal ambassadorial role, continuing Centre’s 404 service expansion into the London Brough of Brent and bringing our expertise, vision and values to families in need.

This varied and dynamic role will lead on the set up, coordination and provision of excellent person-centred care and support to service users, enabling them to live independently in their home and be supported in all aspects of day-to-day living. As Project Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans designed to provide meaningful choice and a range of activities and support to meet individual needs. You will also contribute to the development of the team and be responsible for encouraging a culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, providing supervision and clear management to a team of support workers.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading and coaching a team supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable client group. Experience of supporting people with high and complex support needs would be an advantage. Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Funding

· Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end funding process from development of applications to decisions and monitoring of funded programmes.

· Overseeing ongoing delivery of the funding strategy by working with Funding Managers to effectively deliver and manage funding portfolios.

· Co-chairing of funding committees as required, supporting delivery in line with our governance structures.

· Oversee effective management of our Special Purpose Funds (SPFs)

· Working with finance teams and Funding Managers to ensure appropriate financial reporting and information is available across our funding portfolio.

· Supporting on financial and operational planning in-year, at mid-year review and in planning for future years, in line with our strategy.

· Supporting Funding Managers to maintain strong relationships with the Trust leads, to enable a partnership approach

· Working closely with the Head of Evaluation & Learning to ensure evaluation and learning are embedded at every stage of the funding cycle

· Leading on cross-team programmes of work such as embedding health equity into our funding, deliver effective patient and public engagement (working with the Patient and Public Engagement Manager) across our decision-making and deliver improvements to our grant-making.

· Supporting the iteration of the funding strategy

Other

· Provide line management to the Funding Managers and Patient and Public Engagement Manager as well as supporting the overall work of the wider team.

· As a key senior leader of the Funding and Impact Team, contribute and support the wider work of the team.

· Support the Director of Funding and Impact and Executive Director of Charities with other tasks relating to planning and development as required.

· Build and sustain strong relationships with the Fundraising, Marketing and Engagement teams within NHS Charities to enable collaborative working and sharing of information on our funding portfolio.

Working Environment: 

The post holder should expect to: 

• Work in a hybrid hot desk environment, generally working 2 days a week in the London office and three from home.

The Research Team is pivotal to ensuring that research funded by Children with Cancer UK is at the
forefront of the children and young person’s cancer research area. You will have the opportunity to be at
the cutting edge of cancer research in children and young people and work closely with members of the

The Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance and work closely with the Finance Officer to deliver an efficient and robust financial service for The Photographers’ Gallery (TPG) and its trading subsidiary. A pivotal role within a small but impactful team, the Finance Manager will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthen financial processes and controls, and contribute to strategic decision-making across the organisation.

A summary of key duties is as below:

• Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, reconciliations, purchase and sales ledgers.
• Prepare quarterly management accounts, budgets, and cashflow reports in collaboration with the Head of Finance.
• Support in the preparation of the annual accounts and liaise directly with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with charity accounting standards (SORP), HMRC, VAT and pension requirements.
• Maintain effective financial systems and controls, working with senior staff to ensure best practice across the organisation.
• Work closely with budget holders to monitor financial performance and support effective decision making.
• Contribute to wider organisational initiatives, including digital transformation of finance processes and cross-departmental working groups.

About You

• ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification (part-qualified considered) or significant relevant finance experience.
• Experience in financial management and bookkeeping, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
• Strong technical skills, including use of accounting systems, Excel, and financial reporting.
• Excellent organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across a range of stakeholders.
• An interest in the arts, culture, and working in a values-driven environment.

About the Role

This is a pivotal senior leadership role at the heart of NCTJ's growth strategy - and is not your typical charity role.

It's a chance to lead on large-scale projects, shape commercial strategy, and build partnerships that make a real difference, while working alongside a passionate and supportive team. As Head of Business Development, you'll lead on identifying and securing revenue opportunities while forming strategic partnerships that support their mission and charitable objectives. You'll manage two direct reports, the Fundraising Manager and Journalism Skills Academy Manager, and work closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team to align business development with organisational strategy.

This role covers a broad and exciting remit including:

• Business growth and revenue generation
• Commercial partnerships and industry engagement
• Strategic leadership and operational management

You'll be negotiating high-value partnerships, exploring international growth opportunities, and leading on innovative training initiatives including digital and AI-driven programmes. You'll also oversee fundraising efforts to support key initiatives like the Community News Project and the Journalism Diversity Fund.

About you

We're looking for a commercially minded leader with a proven track record in business development and revenue generation. You'll be a strategic thinker with the ability to spot growth opportunities, build high-value partnerships, and expand NCTJ's impact. With strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, you'll inspire a small team and engage confidently with media organisations, funders, and industry partners. You'll bring commercial acumen, project management expertise, and a deep appreciation of the journalism and media landscape, including digital transformation and AI.

Position: Nightstop Support Worker & Volunteer Coordinator
Salary: £27,136 including Greater Manchester Weighting Plus Pension and Other Benefits
Location: Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours

About the Role:

The Nightstop Coordinator role is busy and varied role, it involves working with young people from when they approach the service to when they find longer term accommodation. You will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all young people, assessing each young person’s needs and risks, finding short and long term housing options, organising the logistics of each Nightstop placement and making sure that each Nightstop placement is safe.

You will also lead on the promotion of the service with the aim of recruiting new Nightstop volunteers. The role will be based in the Manchester office and cover referrals from young people in Greater Manchester

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide a welcoming and supportive service to young people at risk of homelessness

· Conduct needs and risk assessments and arrange Nightstop placements

· Support guests and volunteers through a 24-hour on-call service when required

· Recruit, onboard and engage new volunteer hosts

· Promote the service at events and meetings, building strong relationships with partners

· Maintain accurate records and support reporting processes

· Ensure safeguarding and health and safety requirements are met at all times

About You:

We are looking for someone who is committed to supporting young people and has the skills to work calmly and effectively under pressure. You will bring:

· Experience of working with vulnerable people or people experiencing homelessness

· Understanding of housing and homelessness legislation and safeguarding procedures

· Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Confidence in working collaboratively with a range of partners and stakeholders

· Flexibility to take part in an on-call rota and occasional evening or weekend work
