We are seeking a Philanthropy Officer to join our Development Team. This role will play a part in managing AllChild’s portfolio of philanthropic supporters, including Trusts, Foundations and Major Donors. You will work closely with the existing Philanthropy Officer, supporting the Philanthropy Manager to steward our existing supporters, as well as build a strong pipeline of prospective donors and secure new funding.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking two Careers Advisers to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Careers Team. In this key position, you will work across multiple sites within our South West or South East Academies, supporting students to make informed, ambitious, and aspirational decisions about their futures.

You will be joining an experienced and knowledgeable team of advisers, from whom you can gain advice and support. Working closely with your colleagues, you will help shape and deliver a high-impact CEIAG programme.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working with each academy’s Careers Lead to plan a high-quality careers education provision
• Planning and delivering careers assemblies
• Delivering impartial, personalised career guidance meetings and group sessions
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic records on Unifrog of guidance meetings
• Providing targeted support for students making post-16 and post-18 pathway choices
• Liaising with external agencies, networks and partners to enhance the Higher Education and Careers programme
• Tracking, monitoring and reporting on the aspirations of current students
• Engaging parents and carers in the careers guidance process
• Supporting with meaningful and aspirational employer encounters
• Attending results and enrolment days
• Supporting wider team members, including providing shadowing opportunities and sharing best practice
• Contributing to Careers Adviser team meetings with learnings or experiences that could enhance practice, inform strategy or support team development
• Providing support to academies during Ofsted inspections

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Diploma in Careers Guidance or Qualification in Careers Guidance to Level 6 (or working towards)
• Proven experience in delivering impartial, personalised career guidance through one-to-one meetings and group sessions

• A proactive approach, with efficient time management and prioritisation skills

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

Location: Based onsite in Crisis Skylight Merseyside, 96 Kent Street, L1 5BD

Hours: 35 per week between the hours of 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday on a rota basis

About the role

As an Engagement and Assessment Worker, you will be the first point of contact for someone who comes to Crisis for help to prevent or end their homelessness. You will:

• Welcome them to the service on site and at partner agencies,

• Listen carefully and non-judgementally to their story,

• Complete thorough Crisis and Mainstay assessments using a trauma informed approach,

• Agree realistic options and the support needed to assist them to prevent their homelessness or a pathway out of homelessness.

• Help them formulate a holistic plan and help them take the initial steps, where necessary.

• Hold a caseload of members who require short term intervention to end their homelessness.

About you

• Experience of working successfully with disadvantaged/or socially excluded groups and individuals, utilising a psychologically informed approach.

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service, ensuring accessible, welcoming, and safe ‘front of house’ environment in a busy service.

• Experience of assessing presenting needs, and an understanding of strengths-based assessments. You will have empathy and understanding of the barriers to accessing services.

• Ability to manage successful relationships with external agencies and relevant service providers and successfully advocate on members behalf.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills used to ensure accurate record keeping on a variety of Case Management Systems/Databases.

• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to successfully manage a busy and diverse workload.

• The ability to use your own initiative to contribute to the effective running of the service and to work flexibly as part of a team.

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for dedicated School Mental Health Practitioners to join the Harris Federation’s central mental health team and make a meaningful impact in secondary schools across London.

You will be part of a supportive, forward-thinking team led by our Lead Mental Health Practitioner, receiving regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development and helping to shape the future of mental health support in education.

In this full-time role, you will deliver evidence-based, low-intensity mental health interventions to students aged 11–18 across up to three Harris secondary academies. You will work directly with students through 1:1 sessions, group work and whole-school wellbeing initiatives, helping to shape a culture of mental health awareness and support.

You will be based in schools for four days per week, primarily in South, South East and South West London, and occasionally in North London. Travel between schools is required.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored 1:1 mental health and wellbeing support to students and their families
• Facilitating small group interventions and psychoeducational sessions
• Running drop-in sessions during break and lunch times for students experiencing mild to moderate distress
• Collaborating with school staff to promote mental health awareness and training
• Contributing to school-wide risk assessments and wellbeing strategies
• Maintaining accurate records and report on outcomes using national standards
• Sharing best practices and innovations across our network of schools

What is the role?

As the Schools & Community Fundraiser, you will be working as part of the Fundraising Team to meet organisational income targets. You will have responsibility for the co-ordination, organisation, and evaluation of existing schools fundraising events within agreed levels of income & expenditure.

You will be expected to foster and grow our links with educational establishments, the wider community across Lanarkshire and 3rd party supporters. You will be required to maximise and grow the income generated from all fundraising activities related to schools and community fundraising.

In addition to your own workload, you will support the work of the fundraising department with other fundraising initiatives as directed..

· Experience working within a fundraising/sales role

· Proven experience of working to income related targets.

· Experience of liaising with young people in a formal or informal setting.

· As an important part of the Hospice team, you will also deliver Hospice educational presentations to schools & community groups that will range from three or four individuals to classes, full school assemblies or School awards nights, across all age groups

· A proven track record of success when working individually and as part of a team.

· Flexibility as occasional evening and weekend work will be required

Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice supports babies and young children who have complex illnesses or disabilities from birth to age five.

We work to ensure that very unwell children can enjoy the best possible quality of life and we support their families throughout their journey.

About Our Role

Job Purpose

This role sits within our crisis alternative service, Safe Space, which is a core and out of hours service providing a safe and welcoming space for people who are feeling distressed and experiencing crisis. Our aim of the service is to keep individuals well in the community and prevent readmission into hospital. The service operates 365 days a year from 14:00-22:00pm across all of our boroughs.

Staff within the service will provide person-centred, practical and emotional support, face to face or via telephone or virtual on a one-to-one basis to individuals experiencing mental health crisis or preventing crisis.

The objectives of the service include:

• To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental health and social crisis in HFEH.
• To proactively work with keeping people well in the community to reduce re-admitters into hospitals by working with WL NHS teams (e.g. discharge, LPS, CATT, MINT and SPA)
• To provide a true alternative to A&E via a non-clinical drop-in service to support clients
• To provide support to clients accessing the service- for instance: signposting, de-escalation and crisis recovery planning.
• To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
• To remain a source of independent support for all clients.

This role will project manage all areas of individual giving, from concept through to delivery and evaluation, working with colleagues across Fundraising, Communications and Supporter Care to maxmise income, deepen supporter engagement, and grow sustainable regular giving.

You’ll be responsible for delivering existing appeals (e.g. our Christmas Appeal and Grand Draw), developing new fundraising products, and ensuring that donors receive thoughtful and inspiring journeys.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Giving & Campaign Delivery

• Deliver the individual giving operational plan, managing all campaigns and appeals within agreed budgets and income targets.
• Lead the development and delivery of multi-channel fundraising campaigns (direct mail, digital, email, retail-linked activity etc.), ensuring integrated messaging and brand consistency.

• Work with available data to ensure strategic decisions are evidence-based and data-driven, using segmentation and testing to maximise impact.

About the role

This role will be an expert resource to support the Housing Income Team on legal issues and best practice on all aspects of income management and debt recovery. Ensuring collection of the maximum amount of rental income to ensure sufficient revenue to maintain a first-class housing service, and good quality, safe homes as well as compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023.
