As Head of Social Enterprise, you will:

Provide proactive support to the Chief Executive Officer on strategy and operations. Offering clear advice to the CEO and Board of Trustees.

The Role

In this role, you will lead on the delivery of the safeguarding learning pathways across the Diocese, in line with Church of England policies and procedures. You will support clergy, lay leaders, staff, and volunteers to meet safeguarding requirements and embed best practice across the organisation.

You will also support the Head of Safeguarding in providing advice on safeguarding learning policies, maintain strong relationships with local and national safeguarding networks, and ensure training materials remain up to date with legislation, policy changes, and emerging best practice.

This is a varied and rewarding role with the opportunity to influence culture change across the Diocese, delivering high-quality safeguarding training to over 1,400 participants each year and supporting a network of volunteer trainers.

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced trainer with a passion for safeguarding and learning.

You will have:

• Proven experience in leading and delivering effective training programmes.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
• Experience of working with multi-professional agencies and the ability to analyse complex safeguarding issues.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate training provision.

You will also need to be able to travel independently across the Diocese and work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.

Job Purpose

The Partnership Coordinator role is varied, offering the chance to develop a wide range of skills. Responsibilities include delivering programme and network activities, managing local hubs, supporting events and meetings, and participating in recruitment and retention activities led by the Partnerships Team.

Key Responsibilities

Programme and Network Delivery:

- Support the planning and delivery of programmes and networks, including scheduling dates, organising training sessions, and other activities.

- Support the organisation and delivery of programme-specific and national events.

- Provide year-round support to local Hub Managers to ensure schools receive necessary support.

Recruitment and Retention:

ob Title: Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor

Location: Homeworking with a requirement to occasionally work at Head Office (Vauxhall, London)
Salary: £28,857.12 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting allowance if applicable

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours rota that includes evenings, weekends and night shifts). Shifts are scheduled across a 24 hour rolling rota and we are unable to support specified non-working days (although shift-swapping is available).

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Domestic Abuse Helpline Advisor to provide high quality practical and emotional support to survivors of domestic abuse and other forms of violence and abuse, including those at the point of crisis.

Helpline Advisors are responsible for providing high-quality, empowering, emotional and practical support, assistance and information to women and those supporting them, who contact the Freephone 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge. Helpline Advisors deliver one to one support to women and those supporting them to ensure that they are provided with a safe, supportive and welcoming service, enabling women to understand their rights, make decisions and increase their options. The job involves working across multiple platforms including phone and live chat, to inform survivors of the full range of civil, criminal and practical options that might increase their safety.

Please note that this post is restricted to women due to the nature of the role. The Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010 applies.

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Partnerships & Impact Funding, the role of Partnerships and Business Development Lead is responsible for strategic leadership in developing and nurturing institutional funding partnerships (Government, Multi-lateral, Trusts & Foundations,

About you

Who we are looking for

Essential:

• Proven track record in directly securing multi-million-pound contracts or grants from institutional, trusts and foundations, and corporate donors.
• Substantial experience in building and cultivating strategic donor partnerships including engagement at global, regional and country mission levels with senior stakeholders and demonstrable experience of engaging.
• Extensive management experience overseeing high-performing teams directly and remotely.
• Extensive experience of leading multiple bid teams to successful outcomes.
• Advanced negotiation skills at senior levels within HQ’s, regional offices, or missions.
• Detailed understanding of institutional, corporate and trusts and foundations donor funding landscapes and  trends.
• Advanced understanding in interpretation and negotiation of government and foundation grant and contract calls for proposals and contract and compliance agreements and frameworks.
• Highly developed decision-making skills including working under high pressure, negotiation skills,  organisational planning and prioritisation skills.
• Verbal fluency in English with a persuasive writing style.
• Highly developed communication and networking skills for engagement, relationship building and facilitation, including consortium development

• Degree or equivalent qualification in business, economics, international relations, development studies, or related fields.

Purpose of the post  

To assist in the management and delivery of high quality, responsive, specialist refuge support and services that enable people to feel safe, to be empowered, and to flourish in a life free from Domestic Abuse and Sexual violence

Responsibilities

• As a key member of the team, contribute to achieving Cyfannol Women’s Aid’s vision, mission and ambition.
• To demonstrate and positively promote the organisation’s values, culture, and qualities
• Collaborate with the support services coordinator and the refuge team to plan and deliver high quality, specialised, trauma informed, person-led support services.
• Line management of refuge team members (Support Worker, Support Work Assistants, Out Of Hours and Relief Workers) in line with policy in an inclusive, engaging and empowering way. (including supporting recruitment, completing induction, supervision, training and development) supporting and coaching.
• Case hold, providing direct support to adults and children staying in Blaenau Gwent Refuge Services.
• Oversee all rotas for refuge staff and on-call for Blaenau Gwent and make sure the refuges are adequately staffed at all times.
• Work collaboratively with the support services coordinator to ensure refuge referral paths are easily accessible are clear and concise, and to continue to promote a whole team approach.
• Support women and children to have a voice and provide feedback within the organisation and the sector, including surveys, listening sessions, and external opportunities
• Oversee operational Health & Safety requirements within refuge services and to oversee housekeeping, maximise refuge occupancy.
