About the role

We’re looking for someone who has experience in marketing, communications and engagement for events, gala lunches, fundraising products and campaigns. We want you to bring creativity, insight and energy to help drive the income of the Charity from your marketing and engagement perspective. This could look like selling tickets for events, running campaigns or increasing sign ups to Legacy.

You’ll oversee and be responsible for executing the marketing plans to support events, partnerships, music services, education and our annual campaigns, where you will get support from, and line manage a Marketing and Communications Officer and an Events Marketing Officer.

This role sits within our Engagements and Communications (E&C) team, which is under our wider Income Generation directorate, (other teams include partnerships, events, trust and foundations and business development) which has ambitious fundraising targets as part of a new 5-year strategy.

You’ll be working closely with and leading on projects between teams within Income Generation, such as our award winning Events team and our hugely successful Partnerships team. So if you love the fast-paced nature of events, and the challenge of increasing income through engaging audiences – as well as lots of music – then this role is for you.

Our client is a leading independent funder.

Prospectus is delighted to be working with the foundation to recruit a Lead Funding Manager on a full-time (or 0.8) to lead the delivery of the foundation’s priorities for Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights, as part of A Fairer Future (AFF) team. This role is a maternity contract for up to 12 months. A hybrid working model is in place which entails working at least 2 days per week in their office in Kings Cross (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and the remainder flexibly working from home if you wish).

The role:
This leadership role will provide grant-making and strategic support capacity to the AFF team, which currently consists of 7 people reporting to the Director of A Fairer Future. The role will take on existing relationships in the form of a portfolio of larger grants at various points in their funding journey. This person will pick up these relationships and ensure continuity as well as assessing new applications.  This role will take a lead on strategic initiatives, driving impact in the Gender Justice and Children and Young People’s Rights priorities.  Committed to social justice, the candidate will be ambitious to help create change using the foundation's full range of tools and approaches. This role will be responsible for informing, influencing and monitoring the implementation of the AFF strategy and programme, including developing and assessing proposals for activities, leading on the delivery of impact, and maintaining external networks to provide strategic guidance to the Foundation.

Convening collaborations, commissioning research and mobilising networks to create change will be core aspects of this role in addition to supporting other team members with expertise relating to the two sectors. This person will be responsible for managing the larger grant relationships throughout out the grant cycle, capturing and embedding learning along the way. They will also be responsible for site visits and facilitating online discussions with organisations, as well as representing the foundation at sector forums and events concentrating on the AFF priority areas.

The culture at the foundation is collaborative and nurturing, so working closely with colleagues to share ideas and learn from each other will be essential in this role.

The person:
The successful candidate will have substantial grant-making experience in addition to having knowledge of the Children and Young People and/or Gender Justice sectors, perhaps gained through work in the voluntary or local authority sector, or through another funder. Highly organised, intellectually curious and pragmatic, this person will be able to unpick complex information and will be confident and experienced in assessing grant applicants’ financial information. They will understand the charity funding world and importantly, the challenges faced by marginalised communities across the UK in the face of widespread inequity. The AFF team works with the Involving Young People’s Collective, candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the value of co-production.

IT confident and systematic in their approach, this person will also be confident and empathetic team leader in addition to being an excellent communicator, both in person and in written work. Excellent attention to detail, thorough and collaborative in their approach to work, this person will be a real team player whilst being able to work under their own steam, working in a fast-paced environment.

A broad understanding and experience of systems change principles and an appreciation of the nuanced intersections between the various priorities of the AFF programme will be important to success in this role. The ability to contribute to the effectiveness of a busy team through encouragement and inspiration will also be important.

About the role

This is your chance to make your mark as Design and Brand Manager at the Francis Crick Institute one of the world’s most iconic biomedical research centres, home to over 1,500 leading scientists and a large public gallery space with a rolling programme of exhibitions and events.

For 12 months, you’ll be the creative heartbeat of our Digital and Creative team, setting the standard for design excellence across everything from public exhibitions and scientific reports to internal signage and branded campaigns.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role that sits at the creative core of the Crick’s communications. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to shape visual identities for flagship exhibitions and events, lead design projects for branded materials like brochures and reports, and create impactful internal signage and communications.

Central to the role is refreshing and rolling out our brand identity, ensuring it remains bold, relevant, and consistent across all touchpoints. You’ll manage our in-house studio, oversee science illustration and printing services, and build a trusted network of freelancers and agencies to expand our creative capacity. The role is ideal for someone with a strong background in design and brand, with a creative flare and is able to identify and seize upon strategic opportunities. It would suit an experienced middleweight designer, ready to step up to a more senior role, or a senior designer looking to take on a new challenge.

What you will be doing

As a Design and Brand Manager at the Crick, you will:

• Produce on-brand, accessible and high-quality design and creative materials which meet the needs of the Crick’s varied audiences.

• Manage the Crick’s visual brand identity – including rolling out our newly refreshed brand identity – ensuring it stays fresh, relevant and consistent.

• Develop and implement internal processes for teams across the Crick.

• Manage design projects from concept to completion.

• Oversee the work of agencies and freelancers who are producing design and creative assets, from initial briefing to obtaining final sign-off.

• Produce and maintain a contact base of agencies and suppliers who can produce high-quality design work in accordance with our brand guidelines

• Be the Crick’s go-to for best practice in creativity and design, advising teams across the Crick with their creative output.

• Horizon scan for latest updates and innovations in design tools and practice in order to formulate and incorporate best-practice into our processes and templates.

• Continually evaluate our design and creative output, seeking out, absorbing and incorporating feedback into our outputs and processes.

About you

You will have:

• Demonstrable experience at middleweight or senior designer level – in-house, freelance or agency;*

• Strong understanding of design and brand principles – typography, colour, layout etc.

• A portfolio of original, engaging and creative ideas developed within a professional environment for successful brand design projects across various media that demonstrate an eye for detail, creativity and experience of art direction;*

• Demonstrable experience of managing, championing and maintaining a consistent brand identity within a professional environment;*

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously;

• Experience of managing creative production workflows and sign-off processes;

ROLE OVERVIEW:
 
The Events Community Fundraiser will lead the development and delivery of RABI’s community events programme, working closely with volunteers, regional supporters, and local stakeholders. This pivotal role focuses on organising and supporting fundraising events that unite our community while driving vital income generation. The Events Community Fundraiser will not manage every community fundraising event directly, but will provide the necessary support, training and guidance to ensure volunteers and local teams are equipped to execute fundraising activities successfully.
 
As a key player in our community-focused fundraising efforts, the Events Community Fundraiser will be at the forefront of fostering regional engagement and support for our committees and community groups, ensuring the continued success and growth of RABI’s fundraising events portfolio. This role will also be responsible for identifying and scaling key events that have the potential to be rolled out nationally, expanding RABI’s reach and impact across a broader geographic area.
 
With a strong emphasis on relationship management and supporter stewardship, the Events Community Fundraiser will spearhead the growth of community-led fundraising initiatives, ensuring that both supporters and volunteers (committee and non-committee) feel valued and empowered. Supported by both centralised and regional teams, this role will play an instrumental part in helping RABI achieve its ambitious five-year fundraising goal of £10 million.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Event Planning and Coordination: Organise and manage a wide range of community fundraising events (e.g. agriculture shows, supporter-led, community and corporate) from concept to execution, ensuring every event is well-planned and runs smoothly.
• Community Engagement: Develop relationships with local community groups, businesses and individuals to foster collaboration and secure event participation. Act as the main point of contact for community stakeholders and partners.
• Promotion and Marketing: Work with the Marketing and Communications team to help create event marketing materials to promote events and drive participation.
• Fundraising Strategy: Set and achieve fundraising targets for each event. Identify new opportunities for fundraising through events and provide recommendations for improving event-related fundraising efforts.
• Volunteer Management: Support volunteers with event planning, logistics and on-the-day activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that expenses are controlled and fundraising goals are met. Monitor event spending and provide regular budget reports.
• Donor and Sponsor Stewardship: Cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, ensuring they are properly acknowledged and thanked for their contributions.
• On-the-Day Event Management: Oversee the event on the day to ensure smooth execution, including coordinating logistics, managing staff and volunteers and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct post-event evaluations, analysing successes and areas for improvement. Provide detailed reports on fundraising outcomes and gather feedback from participants to inform future event improvements.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments (Marketing and Communications, Service Delivery, Volunteering and Finance, etc) to align community fundraising efforts with RABI’s overall purpose and goals.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practice standards, upholding RABI’s commitment to ethical and legal fundraising.
• Systems: Effectively use RABI’s CRM (Microsoft Dynamics) to track donor engagement, segment audiences and identify growth opportunities.

 
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
 
Essential:

• Proven experience in community fundraising, regional fundraising or events within the charity sector.
• A track record of delivering successful community fundraising events.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, equipped with the skills to engage and inspire a wide range of supporters, stakeholders and volunteers.
• Financial awareness and planning with the ability to develop and manage project-level budgets.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, capable of managing multiple fundraising activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and digital fundraising platforms, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Understanding of fundraising regulations, GDPR and best practices in community fundraising.
• A self-motivated, proactive and results-driven approach to work with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving and idea generation.
• Empathy with the farming community and an understanding of the challenges faced in rural life.

 
Desirable:

• Experience working in a charity focused on rural, agricultural or community-based initiatives.
• A full UK driving licence, as travel within England and Wales will be required.

About the Development Operations & Stewardship Manager role:

This job sits within the Museum’s Development Team, supporting a team of fundraisers to build philanthropic relationships, corporate partnerships and run National Museums Scotland’s Membership programme. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Development and be a senior member of the Development team. The post holder will bring experience and knowledge of best practice across the full Development Operations function, including CRM and supporter insight, prospect research, and financial reconciliation and reporting. They will be excited by the opportunity to embed new ways of working within the Development team and to contribute to National Museums Scotland mission.

As Development Operations & Stewardship Manager at National Museums Scotland you will:

• Ensure that the CRM system(s) support fundraising objectives, processes and reporting requirements, maximising opportunities for actionable insights that enable fundraising growth

About the Role

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Role Purpose

The main purposes of the Corporate Partnerships Officer role are:

• Managing the continually improving the digital systems to improve Tender’s monitoring and evaluation structures and procedures
• Leading the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation frameworks and processes across Tender, with the support of the COO

Our client is a vibrant Surrey-based charity, committed to building futures for local people by providing services that support and assist disadvantaged and vulnerable people; their wide range of projects and activities aim to create happy, healthy and connected communities. They are now looking to recruit for a new Family Centre Manager, to oversee their family centre based in Mole Valley.

As Family Centre Manager you will lead and manage the daily operations of the Family Centre provision to support families with children and young people aged 0-19 years (up to 25 years with disabilities and additional needs) that are identified as the most need of support or have emerging needs. You will oversee a dedicated team of Family Support Workers and will develop partnerships and embed  working protocols with relevant partners to deliver a range of targeted, integrated early childhood services. You will manage the collection and analysis of national and local data in partnership with the local authority and partners, to evaluate and demonstrate the impact of the children's centre services and inform future planning using Early Help Management system (EHM).
