Carers Manchester is a partnership of Statutory and Voluntary Sector organisations who work together the plan, enhance and deliver advice and support services for unwaged carers in the city. Through working together, the Carers Manchester Pathway is in place, which supports carers being able to access the right advice and support at the right time in their caring journey.
Gaddum plays a key role in managing the development of the Carers Manchester Pathway, in supporting a network of voluntary sector organisations, ensuring that the carers voice is heard in everything that we do and delivering a Carers Helpline.
Following the recent award of an extension to our current contract we are looking for an administrator to support us in managing a number of workstreams which will enhance the provision of services for unpaid carers in the city.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst the core tasks in this role will be to:
- Arrange and take minutes of a number of Carers Manchester meetings.
- Support the delivery of a number of projects and workstreams co-ordinated by Gaddum.
- Take responsibility for receiving and inputting data into databases and spreadsheets.
- Provide an initial point of contact for carers and professionals contacting our services.

Role Overview: Fundraising and Operations Director
The successful candidate will lead RLS’s income generation through our next phase of development. You’ll oversee our relationships with key funders, individual giving, our approach to major donors and our communications. You’ll work closely with the Management Team and trustees to set and implement fundraising strategy and highlight and manage risk.
As a member of the Management Team, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day leadership and oversight of the organisation, with involvement in decisions from strategy to HR, project design and many other aspects of our work.
Core Responsibilities:
Fundraising strategy and development
- Lead the development and delivery of RLS’s fundraising strategy to meet our funding targets and deliver our strategy.
- Meaningfully involve and guide the Management Team, trustees and Fundraising Officer in strategy development and delivery.
- Develop new funding sources as appropriate.
- Ensure that funding sources fit with RLS’s values and our moral and ethical fundraising policy.
Organisational leadership
- Work with the Management Team and trustees to lead on the delivery of RLS’s strategic objectives.
- Work with the Management Team to lead RLS, including finding creative solutions to issues as they arise and ensuring the smooth running of the organisation.

Lead on funder relationships

Our Senior Individual Giving Acquisition Officer will develop, test, learn and grow our fundraising acquisition programme. Your Role
As our Head of Alternative Provision, you’ll lead the development and delivery of our new Alternative Provision service, supporting young people who are struggling to thrive in mainstream education. This is a hands-on role at the start, shaping the model, refining plans, and directly managing delivery. As the service grows, your focus will shift to leading its further development, maintaining quality, and expanding provision across sites.

About you

While you don’t need to have had direct experience in an international humanitarian or development organisation, you will have an understanding of or strong interest in international development. Most of all, you will have a commitment to helping others, enjoy learning and staying curious.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Trusts and Foundations team, with a mission to raise funds for CARE International’s work globally to shift power and resources to women and local communities.
As part of the Partnerships & Philanthropy (P&P) team, you will form and nurture relationships with UK based Trusts and Foundations, securing five and six figure partnerships with small and medium sized organisations. You will manage your own portfolio of five and six figure UK based Trusts and Foundations, and support the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager with large opportunities.
New business is a key part of this role, and you will have the exciting opportunity to research, identify and engage organisations that could be great prospects for CARE, as well as stewarding a small number of existing donors through creative, gold standard, relationship management.
You will work closely with the Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager, Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy, country and programmes colleagues globally, engaging leadership as needed to progress donor relationships.

As Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, you will:

About you

We are recruiting a Challenge Events Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ challenge event income by leading on allocated PAPYRUS own events, projects and campaigns and managing all third-party challenge events.
What you will do:
- Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.
- Build and manage relationships with supporters across all communication channels and provide professional, relevant, timely and empathetic stewardship at all times.

You will be responsible for managing their current commercial businesses and seeking out new, exciting commercial opportunities to support annual profit growth. You will also inspire and manage a diverse team of staff and volunteers and ensuring delivery of project milestones and financial targets.
The successful candidate will have retail sector management and development at a senior level, alongside experience of e-commerce, multi-site management and strategic planning and development. You will have a proven track record in people management across paid and volunteer resource and the charity would like to see evidence of driving profit improvement by at least 20% within a three year period. Alongside your strong commercial and financial acumen, you will have plenty of ideas about new business opportunities and/or experience of development and trialling of new business and alternative trading models. The Role
In this role you will be:
· Planning and delivering engaging and informative energy support workshops within local communities, tailoring content to meet the diverse needs of attendees.
