Hillside Clubhouse is a co-produced mental health employment support charity working across Camden and Islington. We support people with mental health conditions into training, volunteering, and employment opportunities. People can access our services via our Clubhouse, where they can share their skills and expertise with others and support the running of the charity. Alternatively, they can receive support out in the community from one of our employment specialists based within primary and secondary care.
This role is still within its infancy and will be working closely with the Executive Director to lead and oversee our employment services. Recent investment in our services has led to the growth of our employment offer and this role currently oversees four employment teams across Camden and Islington. The post holder will work closely with the other members of the senior leadership team to shape, deliver and evaluate Hillside’s business strategy and support on ensuring Hillside continues to meet the needs of the local mental health community.
Role overview:
- To oversee and support the day-to-day running and growth of the employment services offering of the Charity; currently two Individualise Placement and Support (IPS) services and two Employment Advisors (EA) in Talking Therapies services.
- To line manage employment services managers:
o Islington IPS Manager
o Camden IPS Manager
o Islington EA in Talking Therapies Manager
o Camden EA in Talking Therapies Manager
- The post holder will be an active member of the senior leadership team, working in close coordination with the Executive Director and the Director of Clubhouse Operations.
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, the post holder will lead on the growth and sustainment of Hillside’s employment services. The post holder will also be expected to supervise new staff where new services are developed.
- The post holder will work closely with the Executive Director and Director of Clubhouse Operations to develop and implement Hillside’s business strategy.

The Charity are searching for a new Head of Development who will play an integral role in designing and delivering a fundraising strategy and lead a brilliant team to success. The Role
The permanent role is full time, 40 hours per week, and comes with a salary of £50,000-£55,000 p/a. They have a stunning London location, and given the nature of the charity, is primarily office-based, however some remote working is possible:

The Head of Development will deliver the charity's ambitious 3-year fundraising strategy and oversee all fundraising campaigns across membership, individual giving, trusts, foundations, and corporate support, as well as providing excellent stewardship to major donors. They will guide, inspire and support a high-performing and collaborative development team to achieve annual fundraising goals, as well as overseeing internal fundraising processes.
The postholder will manage and grow a portfolio of supporters, and work closely with the CEO on one-off major gift campaigns. They will also provide stewardship of funders to the highest standard, ensuring the delivery of promised benefits to all members and supporters, such as complimentary ticket requests, special events, and rehearsal attendance. Additionally, they will oversee the messaging and strategy for legacy giving and manage an engaging communications schedule for supporters that conveys the company's key messages and values.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Given the rarity of the disease, patients can often go through their entire treatment and recovery without meeting another patient, so external support is vital.
Over the last 4 years, our Support & Information Service has seen significant growth, and developed to become a leading source of support for patients, family members, siblings and friends of patients. Our Support & Information team provide enduring support and ensure that this can be accessed at any point in a primary bone cancer journey and by anyone affected.
Our aim is to increase the reach of the service further, ensuring that all patients diagnosed in the UK have the opportunity to access our Support & Information Service. The Support & Information Officer will play a pivatol role in achieving this through building lasting relationships with both patients and families and healthcare professionals.
They will assist in all aspects of the Bone Cancer Research Trust's Support & Information Service, including the organisation and delivery of virtual support groups, the administration of the Charity's financial grants, the distribution of information resources and the administration of our digital groups. They will also have the opportunity to lead on the delivery of our regional in-person ‘Get-Togethers’, which bring the primary bone cancer community together to gain peer to peer support.The successful candidate will also play an important role in the continuous development of the Service, ensuring that impact is measured and feedback is acted upon.

We’re looking for a creative-loving Marketing Communications person to join our digital content team at Hospice UK. It’s a really exciting chance to jump into a pivotal role here, and facilitate much of the great visual content that we produce as a team.
You’ll be working with some lovely people in the wider Communications and Campaigns team, which is part of an External Affairs directorate. We’re a small, close-knit department but already this year we’ve achieved some truly mighty results – not least, our recent rebrand, new strategy and new visual identity.
As you might imagine, working at a hospice charity brings with it some truly compassionate people. It’s a really lovely place to work because the people make it so. As Senior Marketing Communications Officer, you’d be part of a team of three, including your line manager (Senior Digital Marketing & Campaign Manager), and Membership Communications Officer.
And yes – as a hospice charity, we do work with death and dying on a daily basis. But it’s not all doom and gloom. Actually, by talking about it, writing about it and sharing stories about it, we’re helping to remove the stigma and taboo that it often comes with. And those stories and communications help give people hope, strength and confidence, sometimes when they need it most.
As Senior Marketing Communications Officer, you’ll be looking after a lot of our more creative, aesthetic products and projects. You might already be working as a Marketing or Digital Marketing Officer or Coordinator, and looking for the next step for your career. Or you could be an established Marcomms professional searching for a new challenge. Maybe you’ve already been in a marketing management position and want to get back to doing what you love!
Either way, you’ll be pretty knowledgeable on how to look after digital channels like social media and websites, and will have some experience of both. You might have some photoshoot management and video projects under your belt too, and ideally you’ll have experience of managing a digital asset management system. The role will also involve some print project knowledge, so it would be really handy if you’ve looked after relationships with designers, printers and know how the process works (and what gsm our new Impact Report should be, for example!)
We don’t expect you to be a brand specialist, but hopefully you’ll have experience of working with an organisation’s brand book, tone of voice and visual identity guidelines. That’s because many people in other teams here will turn to you for guidance on how to use our new brand, which logo or font to use, and requests to source appropriate photography in our house style.
We’re looking to bolster our content and storytelling about compelling hospice care, and we’d love someone to join us with ideas on how to elevate that, and help source and write those stories up for us. Part of your role as Senior Marketing Communications Officer will be to help produce content – stories, videos, photos, resources – to our two major national campaigns: Hospice Care Week, and Dying Matters Awareness Week. About the role
As digital content officer, you’ll design, edit and optimise our web content to help our users feel empowered throughout their breast cancer experience.
From personal stories and blogs to landing pages and webforms, you’ll support teams across the charity and lead the content creation for some of our key projects and campaigns.
You’ll know content design, search engine optimisation (SEO), user experience (UX) and accessibility best practices like the back of your hand and be able to advise teams on the correct approach for their pages. And with support from our digital analytics manager, you’ll be able to advise teams on how to improve their content to drive conversions.
Not only will you be able to take the lead, but you’ll also be a team player. You’ll be able to take direction from the digital content manager on bigger projects and collaborate with other members of your team.
You’ll join the team at an exciting time as we’re amid our digital transformation project. You’ll play a key role in moving our content from the old to the new website. You’ll also help set the standard of content on the new website by training teams on new processes on the new CMS and coaching them on web best practices.

Role overview
The Partnership Manager will oversee and deliver account management across our mentoring partnership portfolio. This role involves managing the partner experience across a range of sectors, including higher education, the third sector, schools and corporate partnerships. The post-holder will be responsible for onboarding new partners, supporting them in developing their yearly mentoring plans, engaging in regular communications to ensure we’re on track with our deliverables, and renewing contracts annually. Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators such as partner satisfaction, partner engagement and meeting renewal income targets.
Key responsibilities
- Onboard new partners and welcoming them to Brightside
- Complete annual mentoring project plans with all partners
- Provide account management for partners to ensure a positive experience
- Coordinate our partner engagement work (such as our partner forums and the partner satisfaction survey)
- Meet regularly with partners to monitor project deliverables and ensure we meet and surpass expectations
- Lead critical partnership meetings, including planning meetings, mid-point reviews and end of contract reviews
- Lead contracting and renewal discussions with partners to achieve renewal income targets

- Lead the recruitment function for our London based mentoring project, working with schools to promote the opportunity to young people

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll proactively create development opportunities with individuals, corporate partners, granting giving trusts / foundations, and community groups. You'll oversee the Development Assistant and Development Volunteers to grow a volunteer development team, bringing our cause to life and building lasting support from within our local community.
Main Duties:
● Create development strategies which identify and deliver resources to enable the charity to carry out its ambitious strategic objectives, toward achieving its Vision and Mission.
● Identify and build good relationships with key individuals and corporate decision makers, securing them as development partners who go on to resource the Charity’s work.

About the Role
The Head of Development will work closely with the CEO, Head of Programmes & Funding and Head of Operations & Finance, as part of the SLT, setting the strategy and taking responsibility for income generation across Frank Water including charitable fundraising as well as commercial sales and development through our Social Enterprise.

BEO is a civil rights charity that was set up to challenge and dismantle systemic racism. We work with Black communities by using campaigning, policy and research in conjunction with the law to effect meaningful change.
Legal services are central to BEO. We are therefore looking for someone of 4yrs PQE who has experience in social welfare, human rights, public and administration law and who seeks an opportunity to use those skills specifically in the area of challenging systemic racism.
In the last year we have been developing our relationships with partner organisations, ranging from community groups, our stakeholder law firms, NGOs and law firms experienced in equality and discrimination law, to deliver legal services. The role holder will be required to build on and expand these relationships so that BEO can offer quality legal advice to Back communities in the nations and regions across the United Kingdom.
We are building our internal legal team so that we can provide targeted legal support to Black communities. We are looking for someone to work with the Director of Legal Services and Policy to ensure that high quality legal advice, support and representation are the hallmark of BEO.

About the role:
The HALO Trust has more than doubled in size over the last eight years by growing support from both Governments and philanthropic donors. Global income from philanthropic donors (including the US) has significantly increased over the past five years – from circa £4 million to £15 million in 2022/23 and reaching a further peak of £44 million in 2023/24 in response to exceptional donor support for Ukraine. We are seeking a motivated business manager who is committed to improving health outcomes for children and young people and reducing health inequalities. The successful candidate will provide exceptional organisational, financial, & business support to continue to grow the organisation.
SAPHNA is a professional organisation and charity established in 2006. We are the voice of school and public health nurses across the UK, and the Crown Dependencies. Our mission is to achieve equality and excellence in school nursing practice leading to improved health outcomes and reduce health inequalities for all school aged children, young people and their families and communities.
We strive to take forward the Public Health agenda by working in partnerships to influence health, care policy, and support the workforce, for the benefit of children and young people and the communities where they live and learn.
The initial contract is 12 months fixed term with a view to extension. There will be a 3 month probational period.
24 hours per week, £33,000-35,000 pa, pro rata and depending on experience. Pension included.
The role is home based with ability and willingness to travel across UK when required. Flexible working hours to be agreed and to meet the needs of the organisation. Holiday allowance is 25 days per annum pro rata plus bank holidays.
Main Responsiblities:
- Supporting the Professional Officer in managing finance, human resources, risk management, quality, operational change, board activities and business planning for the organisation.
- Providing programme management support for SAPHNA bidding, budget, invoicing, and contract management processes.
- To support the development and delivery of SAPHNA business planning and prioritisation, including horizon scanning and creating business cases and new opportunities for income generation.
- To support the Professional Officer in ensuring all the organisations charitable obligations are met.
- To support the Professional Officer and SAPHNA team as required in any other related work- streams.
- Line manage the administrator assistant and have organisation oversight and governance responsibilities of the office based processes.
The SAPHNA is an expanding and evolving organisation, as such the job description and person specification will be reviewed on an ongoing basis in accordance with the evolving needs of the wider team.
