Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
Location: Based in London office, E1, with the team meeting in person to collaborate once per week. There is also the expectation of travel as required (usually 2-4 times per month) across London (and potentially) the UK to meet with donors. Homeworking options in line with our Crisis Hybrid Working Policy.
About the role
Crisis is in the first year of our new strategy, and philanthropy is critical to achieving our organisational goals, especially the £20m Housing Supply campaign, an ambitious initiative at the heart of our strategy to deliver genuinely affordable homes and end homelessness for good.
You would use your proven ability to build strong relationships and secure four- to five-figure gifts to manage a dynamic portfolio of major donors and prospects, applying your understanding of moves management and the major donor solicitation cycle to engage, inspire, and retain support. Confident in working with high-profile individuals, you would use your excellent communication and influencing skills to deliver compelling cases for support, represent Crisis with professionalism, and create meaningful donor experiences.
Proactive and creative in your approach, you would work collaboratively across teams, integrate digital techniques to enhance engagement, and measure success against KPIs and targets. Above all, your work would be driven by a deep commitment to Crisis’ purpose and values, equity, inclusion, and the belief that together we can end homelessness for good.

Leeds Survivor Led Crisis Service (LSLCS) exists to provide compassionate, person-centred, trauma-informed crisis support to people across Leeds and West Yorkshire. Founded in 1999 by individuals with lived experience of mental health crisis, the organisation has grown to deliver a range of services for adults, children and young people while remaining rooted in survivor leadership and empowerment. LSLCS has a long history of innovation and excellence; receiving multiple national awards.
The CEO holds overarching responsibility for the current service provisions, with the support of operational directors and service managers. LSLCS challenges and shapes current practices; aligned with the needs of those accessing crisis services, with a strong emphasis on gaining and reviewing service user and team feedback to inform decision-making. About the Role
The Upper Room (TUR) works with individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty, social exclusion and involvement with the criminal justice system. Through UR4Meals, UR4Driving and UR4Jobs, we provide practical support, dignity and opportunity to some of the most disadvantaged members of our community in West London.
TUR anticipates an annual income of approximately £725,000 in 2026/27, with around 57% generated through trusts and foundation grants. We have strong, established relationships with the majority of our funders, including a number of multi-year grants already in place.
We are seeking a Fundraising Officer to lead, shape and grow our income generation activity at a pivotal time for the organisation. This role is responsible for securing and sustaining the funding required to meet growing demand across our services.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead on trusts and foundations and community fundraising initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping strategy while also delivering high-quality funding applications and maintaining strong funder relationships.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role of Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to provide support in ensuring the
local community is kept informed about Matrix and its projects, as well as engaged in
supporting us. We expect you to be creative, enthusiastic about our cause and an effective
communicator. In this role you will work independently, but in close liaison with the CEO,
Wider Leadership Team and the wider Matrix team.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
External Communication
● In collaboration with the CEO, write, edit and coordinate the production and delivery of
all postal and electronic newsletters.
● Plan, prepare and coordinate communication with Matrix donors, supporter Churches
and the wider public.
● Create, plan and schedule posts across all Matrix social media channels.
● Develop original copy for social media platforms, websites, broadcast and printed
advertising materials.
● In collaboration with the Data Coordinator, simplifying complex data into a user-friendly
format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids.
● Ensure Matrix team understand and use the correct branding for internal and external
communications.
● Understand brand guidelines and consistently implement the brand voice across all

This is a rare opportunity to work on a small portfolio of high-impact, relationship-led events within one of the UK’s largest charities. Unlike many events roles, this position focuses far more on donor engagement and stewardship than high-volume logistics or delivery targets.

We’re building partnerships with leading companies across the UK, raising the profile of kidney disease and working with them to make sure that their customer service teams understand the needs of kidney patients throughout the country, working with them to make sure that kidney patients are top priority for their vulnerable customer teams. We’re working with global pharmaceutical companies developing world class patient information and advice. And we want to identify more companies in different sectors who are passionate about supporting people with kidney disease, which is why we are expanding our Corporate Partnerships team.

About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will play a key role in this growth, managing and securing new corporate partnerships with support from the Corporate Partnerships Manager. Our corporate partnership income has grown from zero in 2020 to c£2.3 million in 2025. It is a very exciting time to be joining the charity and our Fundraising team.
Primarily, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of corporate partnerships, growing strong relationships, delivering partnership activities, and proactively securing new corporate partnerships, including charity of the year relationships. You'll further support the Corporate Partnership Manager and Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications as needed with key activities within larger partnerships, developing a well rounded understanding of how Kidney Care UK works in partnership.

The Fundraising Lead will both raise money to support the sustainability of NHS Charities Together and contribute to supporting NHS Charities to increase their income.

NHS Charities Together Fundraising Strategy
- Oversee the shaping of and support the Stewardship Manager on the delivery of a simplified, effective individual giving programme aligned with NHS Charities Together’s strategic priorities, with a focus on the retention and upgrade of existing donors and avoiding competing with our members.
- Ensure individual donors are regularly engaged and asked for appropriate cash gifts through a light-touch programme.

Sector Fundraising Support

- Oversee the development of support the Products Manager on the rollout of replicable or white-label fundraising products, starting with the roll-out of a lottery and legacy product, and on the development of campaigns (e.g. focused on grateful patients).
- Oversee and drive the thinking on future fundraising products that will appeal to and benefit our diverse group of member charities.
- Work closely with the engagement team and other NHS Charites together staff to tailor activity in line with segmentation and engagement strategies.

This important role supports the operational delivery of the charity’s busy events programme and supports the team and running the office.
The events programme is diverse - from drinks receptions and report launches to events at agricultural shows across the UK - and support on administration for the wider charity, including some communications activity. Through these events, we drive awareness of our work supporting family farms and rural communities. In doing so we also garner support from funders to tackle the issues facing the countryside, ensuring our work reaches a diverse audience to raise awareness.
Under the direction of the Head of External Affairs, and with support of the wider staff team, you will be responsible for coordinating and running all the charity’s events, including full administrative support, booking venues, the invitation process and guest lists, organisation of collateral (including marketing and promotional information), catering arrangements and researching and inviting speakers. You will be also ensuring effective follow-up to each event such as wider dissemination of event content, evaluation, and reporting.
Working on events will account for approximately 75% of the role. The remaining time will be spent working across the charity undertaking a variety of administrative tasks. This will include supporting the team with mailings, coordination of specific activities and some general office management. Whilst reporting to the Head of External Affairs, this role will work closely with several team members, particularly the Executive Support & Governance Manager, providing a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of different aspects of the charity’s work.

This is an important role, and we’d like you to have a sound working knowledge of end-to-end event management and office experience within a charity or other professional environment. To be successful you will be required to demonstrate a confident attitude supported by good written and verbal communication skills. You must be comfortable using Microsoft office suite, events management platforms and our CRM system (currently Salesforce). You will be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload. An ability to engage with a wide range of people is also advantageous. Most of all is the desire to provide first class customer service.
This position requires you to be a reliable individual with a detailed, methodical and organised approach who can work independently as well as part of a team. You will enjoy detail and managing data, all this supported by an interest in our work and the desire to develop a successful programme of events. You must be able to handle confidential information with discretion.
