About the Role

Leading CamRARE
As Managing Director, you will provide strategic leadership for the charity, oversee governance and operations, develop and execute the strategy set by the Board of Trustees, and build key external partnerships. This role leads fundraising efforts and develops high-level external stakeholder relationships with Government bodies, including healthcare organisations/departments, Industry, patient and charity organisations, and Research Institutions involved in rare disease. This is a key role to build, strengthen and nurture the charity's connection with the rare disease community, empowering them and fostering an inclusive and supportive network.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Challenge Events Team at Dementia UK, where you will help coordinate a portfolio of third-party challenge event activities, driving both participation and income for the organisation. You’ll manage our Great North Run, Cardiff Half Marathon, Paris Marathon and London Landmark Half Marathon, of who we are a Big Ben partner.
As a Challenge Events Executive, you will leverage your knowledge and utilise data-driven insights to identify new opportunities and shape budget plans. You will be responsible for driving and delivering marketing plans with a focus on email and digital activity, as well as coordinating the production of marketing collateral to ensure excellent supporter experiences and efficient delivery.
You will also work with the Database and Supporter Care teams as well as Challenge Events Assistants to ensure that supporter data is collected and stored efficiently, so that supporters are thanked appropriately, and post-campaign analysis is comprehensive. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the production of stewardship collateral including copywriting, compiling design briefs and liaising with internal teams and expert suppliers.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience of coordinating fundraising events or campaigns. You should possess hands-on experience utilising relationship databases, coupled with an understanding of effective marketing channels, particularly digital. Additionally, expertise in stewardship techniques will be crucial for increasing remittance rates and maximising average gifts. You should also have an understanding of how to use insights, data and market trends to identify opportunities and make recommendations.

Royal Trinity Hospice (Trinity) is the UK’s oldest hospice and serves a community of 950,000 in central and southwest London. Trinity delivers specialist end-of-life and palliative care at the Hospice and in the community as well as support and counselling services for family and friends. The Compton team deliver transformative funding results allowing the hospice to deliver outstanding care to patients and their families. Trinity is a key client for Compton, and we have a long record of success in generating income and sustainable growth across all income streams for the Hospice.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Currently corporate income at Trinity averages £150-200k per annum and incorporates a small local business supporters programme, corporate sponsorship of hospice events or services and several larger corporate partnerships. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is a newly created role and they will work to increase income from corporate and business partners over the next 3 years. They will develop a strategy for growing this important area of fundraising and execute it.
The successful candidate will build on what has been achieved to date to enhance our corporate offering, which will include engaging more businesses through the Local Business Heroes programme, working in partnership with other departments of the hospice to facilitate corporate volunteering and visits. They will work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator and Head of Philanthropy and Events to secure sponsorship for key events such as the RTH Gala Dinner, Dinner and Quiz, Opera at the Hospice, Light up A Life and others underpinning their financial success. In addition, we will look to the new Manager to enhance and develop our current offering. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be supported by a small team of Fundraising Executives as required and report to the Head of Fundraising.
The successful candidate will:
·Lead on developing and implementing an ambitious corporate fundraising strategy for our client to increase income to £300k+ over the next three years.
·Manage and grow our existing corporate partnerships, retaining relationships where possible and increasing income.
·Improve both our promotion of corporate giving and the processes to steward corporate relationships.
·Manage and grow our SME programme Local Business Heroes with the support of the Fundraising Executives.
·Develop and deliver creative partnership plans, including stewardship, communication, and fundraising strategies.

Experience, knowledge, skills, and characteristics
Required:
·At least two years of corporate fundraising or corporate relationship management experience.
·A strong track record in managing corporate fundraising promotion and relationship management to achieve sustainable growth.
·An interest and understanding of the importance of corporate support for a local hospice or other charitable organisation.
·A passion for fundraising and aligning with a corporate’s CSR / ESG goals to create meaningful change.
·Excellent relationship management and donor stewardship skills, with the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and other key stakeholders.
·Experience of running a variety of campaigns, events or products and monitoring budgets.
·Excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact successfully with a wide and varied group of supporters and colleagues.
·Well-organised, and confident in planning and executing activities.
·Demonstrably able to manage time and priorities workload effectively.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Events Manager to join a leading national charity based in Central London.
This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term role within the Events & Community Fundraising team, focused on developing and delivering an engaging and ambitious challenge events portfolio to maximise income and supporter engagement in support of the organisation’s vital work.

Corporate Partnerships Executive
Reporting to: Corporate Partnerships Manager
Location of work: London-based with at least three days per week required at Deutsche Bank’s London Office. JOB PURPOSE
Magic Breakfast has a motivated and high performing Corporate Partnerships team which was recently successful in securing a transformational partnership with Deutsche Bank, beginning in January 2026. We are now seeking a Corporate Partnerships Executive to support the Corporate Partnerships Manager who will together be dedicated to supporting that partnership over the next two years.
Background on the partnership:
Deutsche Bank’s UK Charity of the Year programme is a two-year partnership with Magic Breakfast beginning January 2026 with an ambition of raising £2m over that time. The partnership will be significant for the charity. Going beyond fundraising, the company aims to unlock further value by helping to build the charity’s capacity and provide access to in-house resources and expertise. Through their partnership with Magic Breakfast, Deutsche Bank is committed to enabling young people to develop life skills and emotional resilience whilst promoting social and economic equality for young people. The partnership also has the potential ensure a legacy beyond the 24-month partnership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Corporate Partnerships Executive, you will work with a Corporate Partnerships Manager to deliver one of the charity’s largest, most high-profile and multi-faceted partnerships to date. Together you will work closely with colleagues in the Corporate Partnerships Team and across the organisation, to maximise potential of this transformational partnership.
In addition, you will collaborate closely with the CSR Team at Deutsche Bank and their wider employee network.
In addition, you will be expected to support other corporate partnerships and collaborate with the wider fundraising team to deliver projects and implement processes that support Magic Breakfast’s Fundraising & Development team in achieving its income targets and wider success.
Partnership management:
- Work with the Partnerships Manager to produce compelling and timely reports for the funder.
- Work with the Partnerships Manager and Volunteering Executive to develop and coordinate a volunteering programme for Deutsche Bank’s workforce.
- Engage Deutsche Bank’s workforce through webinars, school visits and employee fundraising activity and campaigns, helping to build recognition of Magic Breakfast.
- Represent Magic Breakfast at events hosted by Deutsche Bank and brief other Magic Breakfast representatives when required.
Internal working:
- Work with the Partnerships Manager to create a partnership development plan to maximise the potential of Deutsche Bank.
- Work collaboratively with the Corporate Partnerships Team and Fundraising & Development Team to support broader departmental and organisational goals.
- Support growth by proactively identifying introductions to new prospects, whether corporate contacts or philanthropists.
- Work closely with all departments where relevant across Magic Breakfast to maximise the potential of the partnership in delivering the charity’s 2025-2028 Business Plan.
- Engage with Service Delivery team to enable school visits and volunteering opportunities to engage Deutsche Bank employees.
- Engage with the Brand and Marketing team to ensure that partnership comms and PR opportunities are optimised.

Planning, reporting and due diligence:
- Maintain accurate financial forecasting including updating monthly records.
- Ensure that Deutsche Bank and any third parties that work with Magic Breakfast as a result of the partnership adhere to our ethical fundraising policy, and flag any risks upwards for resolution if necessary.
- Ensure all partnership activity is carried out in line with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice, and that key documents such as partner contracts are saved on Salesforce.
- Taking an active role in delivering and evaluating progress against the charity’s three year business plan, Fundraising strategy and as well as Corporate Partnerships team objectives and KPIs.
- Inform and support the development of the Fundraising and Development Team budget with understanding and oversight of the charity’s overall budget and accounts.

- Up to date with corporate fundraising landscape, particularly the financial services sector.

Job Overview
The External Relations (ER) department is comprised of three main but complementary functional areas: Private fundraising, Communications, and Advocacy. The Director of UK Philanthropy will provide leadership and strategic direction for individual high net worth fundraising activities focused on the UK market, ensuring the delivery of significant, multi-year resources for the IRC's global mission. • Leading a team of fundraising professionals focused on raising unrestricted and restricted contributions from High-Net-Worth Individuals.

• Provide strategic oversight and manage collaboration between the UK-based leads of the Foundations and Trusts, Global Corporate Partnerships, and Mass Markets teams, ensuring strong coordination in executing comprehensive donor engagement strategies across the UK market.
• Collaborate as a peer with other UK leaders on the UK Senior Management Team, holding collective accountability for achieving the goals of the UK strategy and advising on the wider management of IRC UK to support those goals.
Executive and Global Collaboration
• Proactively drive the UK Executive Director's fundraising activities, including identifying and vetting high-level engagement opportunities, preparing briefing materials, and ensuring excellent donor/partner stewardship.
• Interface and collaborate superbly with US-based colleagues in External Relations to ensure consistent messaging, coordinated prospect management, and alignment with global fundraising priorities.
• Facilitate the deployment of IRC leaders (including the UK ED and global Executive Board and programme leadership) throughout the donor life cycle to qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward five, six, and seven-figure commitments.
Candidate Requirements
• Significant demonstrable years progressive experience or proven background of non-profit fundraising experience and expertise in high-net-worth individual fundraising, and/or foundation/trust/corporate partnership development.
• Demonstrated history of being an empowering and supportive manager to front-line fundraisers.
• Outstanding communication skills, including writing, listening, verbal presentation, and speaking.
Preferred Experience & Skills
• Consistent track record of securing 6 and 7+ figure gifts/partnerships from a complex portfolio of diverse donors and prospects, including qualifying prospects and upgrading donors.
• Proven organisational leadership experience, for example on senior management teams.
• Experience in international organisational collaboration, including interfacing effectively with leadership and colleagues based in other countries.
• Proven experience leading and directly supervising front-line fundraisers.
• Experience in leveraging and managing a Board or high-level volunteer leadership for fundraising success.
• Ability to develop creative and multifaceted donor strategy often carried out in partnership with programme staff or senior leadership.
• Ability to navigate CRM systems.
• Dedication to fundraising for international development, humanitarian, human rights, gender and racial equality, social justice, and migrant communities

Accountable to: Chief Executive Officer
Salary: £45,200–£55,200 (depending on skills and experience)

This newly created role will play a pivotal part in expanding the charity’s income and influence. You will:
- Lead on new business development, nurturing existing supporters and securing new partnerships with developers, housing associations, local authorities, funders and other stakeholders.
- Shape and grow their consultancy and service offer, helping reduce reliance on grant funding.
- Support the roll-out of their Growth Lab, working with practitioners and community groups to develop innovative models, products and services for Community Land Trusts.
- Capture insights, impact and learning to strengthen the case for scaling these innovations.
- Work closely with the CEO on funding proposals, partnership development and strategic initiatives.
