This is a rare and genuinely exciting opportunity to lead the UK's only dedicated charity supporting children, adults and families affected by MPS, Fabry disease and related lysosomal storage disorders. Following the current Chief Executive's planned move to become Managing Director of Rare Disease Research Partners (RDRP) in January 2027, the incoming CEO will take the helm of an organisation with over forty years of history, a trusted national reputation and a growing role on the international rare disease stage. The successful candidate will shape the strategic vision for more than 1,800 families, oversee the close partnership between the Society and its research subsidiary RDRP, and champion the patient and family ethos that sits at the heart of the organisation's work. As our next Chief Executive, you will

• Define and deliver the MPS Society’s strategic vision.

This is an essential car user post. The applicant must hold a current UK driver’s licence, with no more than 6 points, have access to a car and be able and willing to drive UK wide as required.

This senior role requires flexibility in working hours and location.  It is primarily offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in our Amersham, Buckinghamshire, office each week. About The Role

As part of our BFI Screen Heritage Fund ‘Resilient Foundations’ project, we are seeking a highly motivated Fundraising Consultant to support and develop London’s Screen Archives’ (LSA) nascent major gift fundraising strategy from individuals.

Over three years, the LSA Fundraising Consultant will help start LSA on its major gift and individual giving fundraising journey.  You will develop a prospect list from our mailing lists, your existing contacts and through research, that you will then cultivate and convert into successful donations during your contract. You will be supported by our Executive Team and Board as needed. In addition, we will work with you to develop an annual fundraising campaign to raise our profile and secure donations that will support our work discovering and preserving London’s history on film.

These early stages of the strategy will aim to build long-term relationships and inspire on-going philanthropic support for LSA. Your work will be essential to our successful delivery of the BFI Screen Heritage Fund objectives.

You will have a track record of major donor fundraising, ideally with an established network of relevant contacts and relationships, and excellent knowledge of the heritage, film and arts sectors. You will also have some knowledge of the screen heritage sector. You will be a highly skilled communicator and relationship builder able to develop compelling cases for support tailored to individual prospects.

Film London can offer an initial contract of 60 days over three years (approx. 20 days per year) until March 2029.

Guts UK are looking for a new Fundraising Assistant to join the team. The fundraising assistant is the first point of contact for many of our supporters and donors. They record all of our donations in our fundraising database; they make sure all of our donor data is up to date; and they are often part of the early stewardship journey for our supporters.

The role holder is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all donor information in our fundraising database including consent and marketing preferences. They are also responsible for capturing all fundraising donations in that database with the appropriate coding to help us understand where the donation came from. The role works closely with the finance team to make sure physical donations are treated properly but also to make sure the fundraising systems and finance systems always match.

The role holder will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters and the role is critical in ensuring those supporters have a smooth, professional and friendly experience. We are seeking a confident, experienced and motivated Fundraising Manager to join our team! 

Our Organisation 

SLRA is a frontline community organisation established in 1991 which supports refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in crisis in South London. We provide specialist legal advice and holistic casework to enable people to regularise their immigration status, access rights and entitlements and move on from destitution. Every year we provide support directly to over 1000 migrants in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Merton, Croydon, Wandsworth, Southwark and beyond. Our support gives marginalised people access to justice and the opportunity to build a safe, stable and positive future. 

The Role 

This is a key role in ensuring that we continue to secure the resources we need to provide our vital services and activities for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants in South London. As Fundraising Manager for SLRA, you will play a pivotal role in implementing our fundraising strategy, building relationships with donors and exceeding fundraising goals. We are predominantly funded by Trusts and Foundations and you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding this funder base, while helping to diversify our income streams in order to ensure that established services and activities are sustained.

About the role

The Business Development and Fundraising Manager will play a crucial role in delivering a key pillar of our strategy: to build Claremont’s financial strength and sustainability.

The purpose of the role is to increase Claremont’s income from hall hire, therapy room hire, office lettings and donations, so that we can strengthen our much-loved services for vulnerable people.

By tapping into unrealised revenue streams (especially from in our large and centrally located building) the Business Development and Fundraising Officer will bolster our independence and ensure that our services are not put at risk when grants come to an end.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development, Marketing and Promotion

• Develop and implement marketing initiatives to increase bookings for Claremont's halls and meeting rooms.

• Promote our hire spaces across online platforms (such as TagVenue and Sharesy), build new partnerships, and grow bookings through local networking and word-of-mouth.

• Improve our online presence and promotional materials by creating engaging content, including photography, video tours, signage and marketing literature.

• Support the marketing and promotion of office space rentals, responding to prospective tenant enquiries and assisting with the lettings process.

• Monitor booking trends and recommend new opportunities to maximise bookings and income.

2. Customer Engagement and Venue Hire

• Work closely with the Facilities Manager to respond promptly and professionally to enquiries about hall and room hire.

• Welcome new hirers, deliver customer inductions and support them throughout the booking process.

• Build strong relationships with regular customers, identifying opportunities to improve their experience and encourage repeat bookings.

• Help coordinate office space lettings and provide an excellent experience for prospective and existing tenants.

• Continuously review and improve the customer journey, using feedback to enhance Claremont's venue hire and lettings offer.

3. Fundraising and Individual Giving

• Work with the Head of Operations to plan and deliver fundraising events, including the Claremont Exhibits Private View, Craft Fairs and new legacy programme activities.

• Develop and administer processes for Gift Aid and individual donations, ensuring records are accurate and compliant.

• Explore innovative ways to increase individual giving, improve donor engagement and reduce barriers to giving using digital tools.

• Support the development of Claremont's legacy giving programme and wider fundraising initiatives.

4. Operational Support

• Be an active member of Claremont's small team, contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the centre.

• Provide occasional front desk cover during staff absences, welcoming visitors and responding to enquiries.

• Assist with setting up and packing away rooms and equipment for activities and events when required.

• Support the successful delivery of centre events and activities, working flexibly to meet operational needs.

• Undertake other duties appropriate to the role that contribute to Claremont's mission and objectives.

As our Corporate Development Executive (Sponsorship), you'll play a key role in securing corporate sponsorship and fundraising income across a diverse portfolio of events. This brand-new Corporate Development Executive opportunity offers the chance to work across research, fundraising, campaigning and policy, helping to create sustainable income that supports people affected by motor neurone disease (MND).

Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Corporate Development Executive will lead sponsorship activity for the world-renowned International Symposium on ALS/MND while helping to grow long-term corporate engagement across the MND Association.

Main Responsibilities

• Secure sponsorship income from national and international corporate organisations, including pharmaceutical and biotech companies
• Lead sponsorship activity for the International Symposium and other Association-wide events
• Identify, research and develop new sponsorship opportunities and prospect pipelines
• Create tailored corporate sponsorship proposals and presentations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, prospects and key stakeholders
• Deliver excellent sponsor stewardship before, during and after events
• Plan and coordinate fundraising activity across events to maximise income and engagement

Here at Action For Humanity (AFH), we are looking for Head of Fundraising to join us in our Manchester head office. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £55,797 per annum DOE.

AFH is an NGO that provides aid and assistance to people affected by natural and man-made disasters. Our vision is a world of crises-resilient communities. Our mission is to mobilise and respond to emergencies and critical needs through humanitarian, development and peace-building action, helping affected communities survive, recover and build a better future.

Our Head of Fundraising will take charge of developing, implementing, and monitoring our community-based income generation plan. The role holder will provide a creative and dynamic external focus to identify and develop a range of income generation initiatives beyond the scope of existing fundraising activity, including but not limited to; building corporate partnerships, benefitting from CSR schemes, utilising networks, developing long term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and major donors, forging new business opportunities, and managing and building our current team of fundraisers.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

1. Diversifying income streams and building new partnerships:

• To drive for full maximisation of income generation opportunities across direct response, corporate partnerships, events, grant making, major gift and legacy promotion activities
• To personally build and manage a “top prospect” list of high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners and grant making sources to lead from the front and have a measurable personal impact on fundraising goals
• Develop long term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and forge new business opportunities.
• To devise and implement a plan to help the charity maximise on a range of funding streams, exploring new and innovative opportunities
• To support the CEO with the development of new international fundraising offices, providing strategic and operational input as required, in countries such as Canada and France
• To work towards achieving income targets and KPIs. 

2. Leading the Fundraising team, supporting external consultants, managing the budget and supporting the wider team

• Provide strong leadership to the Fundraising team through effective planning, monitoring and evaluation of all activities and campaigns
• Managing all reporting of fundraising activity, including for trustee reports, reports for donors, income and financial reports, and working closely with programmes on developing feedback / programmes update / reports for donors and / or fundraisers
• Manage the Fundraising budget, monitor income against targets, provide and support Finance on fundraising income reconciliation
• Managing, arranging, and attending Live TV Appeals
• Managing and arranging Deployments and Field Visits for fundraising, acting as the central point of contact for those travelling, as well as the point of contact for field and/or partner offices

3. Building the charity’s external fundraising profile, and positioning the charity effectively as an impactful, trustworthy and efficient charity of choice for donors:

• To work closely with the Executive Leadership Team to refine the charity’s fundraising strategy, and effectively communicate the charity’s vision to internal and external audiences, for fundraising purposes
• Work closely with marketing to capitalise and build on our new AFH brand and new website with specific focus on income generation
• Work closely with Marketing to look at how income generation can be considered in marketing plans and input into campaigns to ensure they align to the agreed income generation focus
• Build a strong external fundraising profile for the charity, and work with fellow team members to make use of the contacts of Board members and AFH to the full
• Focus on relationship building with AFH, the Board and other stakeholders to create an active network for identifying and building income streams

4. Compliance

• Ensuring fundraising policies and procedures are developed and followed
• Ensuring compliance with the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Conduct
• Acting as the risk manager for the fundraising department

What we are looking for in our Head of Fundraising:

Education

• Qualification in Fundraising beneficial but not essential
• Qualification in fundraising, sales or business development beneficial but not essential

• A proven creative commercial approach to income generation activities backed up with a strong understanding of the market
