Refugee Legal Support is a dynamic organisation working in solidarity with people who migrate: we provide and promote legal support, training, and advocacy so that asylum seekers, refugees and migrants can access rights and justice. The role in brief

• Develop and lead the fundraising strategy: securing income from trusts, foundations, major donors, corporates, and other sources.
• Build, deepen and manage relationships with funders, partners and stakeholders to secure existing and new funding.
• Monitor fundraising performance, budgets, forecasts and contribute to organisational financial sustainability.
• Work operationally as required across the organisation: supporting RLS’s systems, processes and leadership team to ensure effective delivery and growth.

Person specification

Working arrangements

Community Fundraising & Individual Giving Officer

At Youth Concern, we create spaces where 13–25 year olds in Aylesbury Vale can feel safe, be real and be themselves. Through our Drop-in Centre, counselling, and homelessness prevention projects, we help young people overcome challenges and build brighter futures.

We’re a 46 year old charity with a strong local reputation, healthy reserves and ambitious plans to open a new Youth Hub. With the introduction of our Beacon CRM system, we’re ready to grow and diversify our income and we’re looking for a proactive fundraiser to help make that happen.

The role

This new role is ideal for a creative, relationship-led fundraiser who enjoys variety. You’ll lead on community fundraising and individual giving, strengthening supporter relationships, growing income, and delivering engaging campaigns and events.

You’ll work closely with our fundraising-experienced CEO, Finance & Communications Manager and volunteers, in a supportive environment where initiative is encouraged and micromanagement isn’t our style.

Fundraising Coordinator

Bexley Deaf Centre (BDC) is a small and dynamic, well-established charity which has been serving the borough since 1994. Our work is focussed exclusively on supporting people who are Deaf or hard of hearing. We work to raise awareness, break down barriers and promote understanding within the community.

NICE is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of people with movement disorders. We work with children and adults affected by neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s, Stroke and MS. We push the boundaries of human potential for people living with these physical disabilities by teaching them, through Conductive Education, a range of skills that promote an active lifestyle and showing them that there can be life after diagnosis.

TRAIN is a youth work charity based in South Oxfordshire. We support young people aged 10 to 18 in Didcot, Wallingford and the surrounding areas, especially those who are under-served. 

Young people in our communities are facing complex challenges. Mental health struggles, pressures at school, family instability and the impact of poverty can leave them feeling isolated or overlooked. Too often, they don’t have access to the right support at the right time. TRAIN exists to change that. ABOUT THE ROLE 

As Fundraising and Communications Coordinator, your main focus will be trusts and foundations: researching opportunities, writing persuasive applications and producing clear reports. You’ll also play a part in growing support from corporates, community fundraising, individual donors and major gifts, helping to build a broader base of income over time. 

Alongside this, you’ll lead on communications. That means keeping our website and social channels current, producing supporter newsletters, and sharing our story more widely through PR and campaigns. You’ll help make sure the difference TRAIN makes for young people is seen and understood by funders, partners and the local community. 

It’s a hands-on role, well-suited to someone who enjoys writing, building relationships and juggling different projects. You don’t need to be an experienced fundraiser — we’re open to people with transferable skills, whether from corporate, public or third sector backgrounds. What matters most is that you can communicate clearly, organise your workload, and are motivated by making a difference for young people. 

You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the rest of the team. This is a part-time role of approximately 30 hours per week, which can be worked flexibly. The role is based in Didcot with hybrid working, but for the right candidate we will consider a fully remote arrangement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Fundraising (approx. 80%) 

• Pipeline and planning – work with the CEO to keep a clear fundraising plan, with trusts and foundations as the main focus alongside manageable growth in corporates, community, and individual giving. 

• Trusts and foundations – research prospects, build a live pipeline, and write strong, tailored bids. Prepare accurate budgets and gather evidence from the team to strengthen proposals. 

• Reporting and stewardship – deliver timely reports, thank funders and donors well, and manage renewals and uplift opportunities. 

• Relationship development – nurture links with local businesses, community groups and potential major donors. Prepare simple proposals and support fundraising events or activities as needed. 

• Systems and compliance – maintain accurate records of applications, deadlines and outcomes. Ensure fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR and charity regulations. 

Communications (approx. 20%) 

• Supporter communications – produce engaging newsletters, updates and thank-yous that connect donors and partners with TRAIN’s impact. 

• Digital presence – update the website and social media channels with accurate, timely content that reflects TRAIN’s work and values. 

• PR and profile – share stories with local media, partners and networks. Ensure TRAIN’s messaging is clear, consistent and accessible. 

• Community engagement – promote TRAIN’s profile, youth offer, brand and presence in the community. 

General 

• Work closely with the CEO to align fundraising and comms priorities. 

• Collaborate with youth work staff to gather stories, quotes and data that demonstrate TRAIN’s impact.

East Brighton Trust (EBT) is seeking an experienced Head of Projects and Fundraising to lead the creation, development, and funding of innovative projects across East Brighton, and to play a key role in establishing a new charity being developed by EBT to lead creative, enterprise, and social infrastructure work in the area. 

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role for someone with strong experience in project development, bid writing, fundraising, and partnership building. You will help turn ideas into delivery and impact, securing the investment and collaborations needed to bring the new charity to life. 

Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, you will identify opportunities, develop and fund new projects, and manage delivery across creativity, enterprise, and social impact. 

TAG Youth Club, an award-winning charity and a youth club open to children, young people and young adults, whatever their disability. We work hard to accommodate anyone who wants to join and particularly those who have restricted opportunities elsewhere.  We respond to the needs of the communities we serve and cater for those between the ages of 8 – 25 years. 

TAG started almost 25 years ago, as a group of parents who got together to create an inclusive space for their disabled young people to socialise.  From those humble beginnings TAG has now grown to over 250 members and supports over 750 family members.The club now makes many activities available to young disabled people that would not ordinarily be available to them (such as climbing, skiing, archery, parkour, scootering and skateboarding). Our activities provide members with opportunities to meet new people, make friends, learn social and life skills, and to thrive and grow in confidence and independence.

This exciting new part time role has been created to support the CEO and Head of Operations, providing administrative support in a wide variety of areas including finance, fundraising, office systems and management, premises, promotion, marketing and communications. 

Financial administration includes input and reconciliation of all financial data and ensures efficient reporting, analysis and measurement of data and financial information against set timescales, targets and objectives. H/she will support annual budget preparation and will contribute to the Annual Report.

H/she will track funding opportunities, deadlines and bid submissions and will draft/edit grant applications.  They will maintain the funding database and track Award deadlines and write Award entries.

Office and systems management will include efficient record keeping and databases, maintain IT equipment and oversee insurance and service contracts.  They will also maintain TAG's website and social media platforms and support/represent TAG at external events.  They wil manage DBS documentation, insurance policies and membership subscriptions.

The Legacy Executive plays pivotal role in delivering exceptional fundraising services for our client Royal Trinity Hospice. You will be responsible for delivering excellent stewardship and supporter care – both of which are essential to achieving Trinity’s (and Compton’s) fundraising objectives.

You will inspire and support individuals in engaging with Legacy Giving, developing relationships that encourage a gift in their Will to Trinity. You will support in the development and management of legacy focused campaigns and products as well as exploring new opportunities for income growth. 

The successful candidate will be expected to:

• Support the Head of Legacy Giving to identify, develop and maximise fundraising (and income) opportunities through fundraising products and events, and developing supporter relationships.

Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to uniting for a life unlimited for everyone affected by cystic fibrosis. We’re working towards a brighter future for everyone with cystic fibrosis (CF) by funding cutting-edge research, driving up standards of care and supporting people with the condition and their loved ones every step of the way.

We are recruiting a Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer to build and grow relationships with charitable trusts and corporate foundations in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust’s strategic aims. You’ll manage a portfolio of small to mid-level trust funders, identify new prospects (£10k ), prepare high-quality applications and reports, and work collaboratively across the organisation to maximise fundraising opportunities.

In this exciting role, you will:

• Develop and manage a pipeline of trusts and corporate foundation prospects
• Prepare compelling funding applications and programme reports
• Deliver donor cultivation, stewardship and reporting using CRM systems
• Support biannual small-trust mailings and tailored approaches
• Work with colleagues (including finance and community fundraising teams) to ensure compliance and maximise income

To be the right candidate for this role, you will:

• Have proven experience fundraising from trusts and foundations and securing 4-5 figure grants
• Be target-oriented with high attention to detail
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate project information into accessible proposals
• Be able to work independently and as part of a team, working collaboratively across multiple teams
