 Overall purpose of role

As WeProtect Global Alliance Fundraising and Grants Manager,you will:

• Lead the day-to-day management of a multi-donor grant portfolio (restricted and unrestricted) to ensure donor obligations are met in full and on time.
• Optimise and maintain grants management systems (calendars, trackers, templates, CRM, workflows) proportionate to a small organisation operating at global scale.
• Produce and co-ordinate high-quality donor reporting and contribute to renewal and proposal development, working closely with the Head of Development and collaborating with the Deputy Head of Operations and Finance, as well as colleagues in the Strategy and Members teams.
• Ensure and strengthen donor compliance, due diligence, and data assurance across the grant lifecycle in line with donor requirements, relevant regulations (including UK and EU), and best practice standards (including GDPR).
• Support the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance with grant budgets, forecasts and pipeline, supporting decision-making by the Executive Team and Board.

Key responsibilities

Portfolio ownership & planning

• Maintain a live grants calendar covering deliverables, reports, payments, audits and evaluations; ensure all internal and donor deadlines are met.
• Act as primary point of contact for assigned donors on contractual, reporting, and routine relationship matters, escalating strategically as needed.

 Reporting & stewardship

• Coordinate the production of timely, accurate and outcome-focused narrative and financial reports, synthesising inputs from programme, policy, finance and leadership colleagues.
• Support contract amendments/variations, no-cost extensions, and budget realignments in collaboration with the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance.

Compliance, risk & due diligence

• Interpret, operationalise, and ensure adherence to donor terms and conditions, including eligibility rules, procurement, safeguarding, DEI, anti-fraud, and data protection requirements.
• Contribute to risk registers linked to grants and grant files (audit-ready) with clear decision trails.
• Support alignment with UK and EU regulatory frameworks and internal policies.

Budgeting, finance & cost recovery

• Support the Head of Development and Deputy Head of Operations and Finance to maintain budgets, forecasts, and cashflows to delivery plans.
• Support cost recovery and overhead allocation approaches and ensure compliant coding and reporting for restricted awards (i.e. timesheets and expense coding).
• Track income recognition and receivables against milestones; prepare payment requests/invoices as required.

Proposals, renewals & pipeline support

• Work with and report to the Head of Development to identify and develop new funding opportunities.
• Support the preparation of compelling proposals, concept notes, and donor presentations tailored to institutional, foundation, and private sector partners.
• Conduct donor research and maintain a live fundraising tracker and CRM system to support proactive pipeline management.
• Contribute to the cultivation and stewardship of funders, preparing impact reports, case studies, and donor communications.
• Coordinate cross-team inputs for donor meetings, funding campaigns, or events that support income generation.

Systems, data & process improvement

• Utilise available grants management tools (e.g., trackers, templates, checklists, shared drives/SharePoint, CRM).

· Promote disciplined data management, ensuring GDPR-compliant document storage and access controls.

• Provide training and guidance to colleagues on grant requirements and internal workflows.

Governance & internal collaboration

• Prepare or contribute to concise briefings, dashboards, and summaries for the Head of Development, Executive Team, and Global Policy Board.
• Contribute to annual planning, KPI setting, and impact measurement related to fundraising and grant delivery.
• Support continuous improvement in monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

Essential criteria

Experience

1. Substantial hands-on experience managing multi-donor grants across the full lifecycle, from start-up to close-out with a diverse donor community (governments/multilaterals, trusts and foundations, and private donors), including restricted awards.

2. Proven track record coordinating high-quality donor reports and ensuring contractual compliance across multiple awards and deadlines.

3. Demonstrable experience collaborating internally and leading applications, funding reports, financial reporting (budgets, forecasts, cost recovery, and expenditure monitoring).

4. Experience of preparing concept notes, proposals, and application forms for funding opportunities.

5. Experience with grant databases/CRM.

6. Stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising with donors and supporting senior leaders with briefings and stewardship.

7. Experience in due diligence, risk management and audit-readiness for grants (e.g., procurement, safeguarding, sanctions/PEP checks, data protection).

8. Proven experience working autonomously in a fast-paced environment to deliver a broad range of donor activities.

Skills

1. Outstanding organisation and time management, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and maintain meticulous records.

2. Excellent written communication, able to synthesise complex information into clear, outcome-focused reports and proposals.

3. Financial literacy: confident reviewing budgets, variances and forecasts; advanced Excel skills and comfort with shared-working tools (MS Office, Teams, SharePoint).

Movember's UK and Europe public fundraising operation is one of the most ambitious in the global movement. Hundreds of thousands of Mo Bros and Mo Sistas, a full calendar of endurance events, deep community partnerships across education, sport and workplace, and a year-round supporter engagement program that keeps people coming back long after November ends. Leading all of it takes someone exceptional.

As Director of Public Fundraising, UK and Europe, you'll own the strategy and delivery for community fundraising, endurance events, and all public fundraising activity across the region. You'll lead the local implementation of the Movember campaign, drive year-round retention and engagement of the Mo Community, and take an active role in shaping the broader UK and Europe Country Strategy. You'll also play a key part in Movember's European growth ambitions, helping to identify and unlock new markets and opportunities across the region.

People leadership is central to this role. You'll lead a team of 12 or more, building capability, setting clear accountabilities, and creating the kind of environment where people are genuinely empowered to take ownership and deliver with excellence. You'll work closely with the UK Country Director and Global Director of Fundraising, contribute to global campaign squads, and collaborate with counterparts across markets to share what works and maximise collective income.

From setting strategy to stewarding high value supporters, from budget oversight to being a public face of Movember at community events, this is a role with real breadth and real impact.

Based in London, 12-month fixed term parental leave cover. We are open to this role being filled on a full-time or 0.8 part-time basis.

No Moustache Required - but the following are:

• At least 15 years of experience in relevant fundraising roles, with deep expertise in public fundraising.

• Demonstrated experience delivering major fundraising campaigns, preferably including peer-to-peer fundraising.

• A proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing successful strategies, with the ability to translate strategy into action on the ground.

• Proven success managing fundraising portfolios and consistently meeting income targets.

Essential

Desirable 

Ideally, you bring background experience in education (schools or HE), capital campaigns, or bursary fundraising, alongside familiarity with platforms like Raiser’s Edge or ToucanTech and alumni or volunteer networks.

What the job involves
We're looking for a Fulfilment Manager to join us on a fixed-term contract until the end of February 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in how we support our fundraisers, supporters and people affected by prostate cancer, ensuring the smooth delivery of fulfilment services across the charity. You'll manage our relationship with an external fulfilment partner, making sure services are delivered efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with agreed standards.

You'll join us at a pivotal time as we begin working with a new supplier. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, supporter care, health information, digital and customer operations, you'll lead on supplier performance, service improvements and process optimisation. Using data and insight, you'll identify opportunities to enhance the supporter experience, protect income and help ensure our fulfilment service continues to meet the changing needs of the charity.

Alongside leading our fulfilment service, you'll manage and develop our ecommerce function. From stock forecasting and product development to supplier management and shop performance, you'll ensure our online shop delivers a great customer experience, supports fundraising objectives and continues to grow its reach and impact.

You'll also provide line management support to the E-Commerce Executive, providing guidance, feedback and development opportunities to help them thrive.

What we want from you
We’re looking for someone who enjoys improving processes and building strong relationships.  You’ll thrive in this role if you’re naturally organised, able to balance attention to detail with multiple moving parts and motivated by delivering an excellent supporter experience.

You’ll be solutions-focused and confident managing priorities, working with data to inform decisions and collaborating across teams to make things happen. You’ll build strong relationships with both suppliers and internal teams and feel confident holding partners to account when needed. You’ll be process-driven, always looking for simpler, smarter ways of working, and comfortable managing complex operational activity while keeping everything running smoothly. Strong attention to detail is essential, particularly when working at pace or with large volumes of data and multiple suppliers.

You’ll bring experience of forecasting, stock management and using insight to guide decisions, along with the ability to support, coach or motivate others, whether formally or informally. Ideally, you’ll also have line management experience.

Additional in-person attendance will be required during your first few months for induction and training, to support you to learn the role and get to know colleagues.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Development Manager works collaboratively with senior management, staff, and consultants to ensure sustainability goals are achieved. The Development Manager cultivates prospects, sustains relationships, creates proposals and reports for funders to illustrate impact and spends most of their time engaging with prospective funders and supporters through both virtual and in-person interactions. 

The ideal candidate is a skilled fundraiser and a relationship builder with a strong understanding of philanthropic giving. They should be proactive and strategic, with a proven track record of securing mid-to-large multi-year funding, nurturing donor relationships, and effectively communicating the organization's mission and impact. Familiarity and commitment to IFIP's mission is essential. Experience working remotely and across multiple time zones is an asset. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Fundraising and Resource mobilization  

• Develop a comprehensive multi-year development strategy, including developing related guidelines and policies and ensure IFIP secures annual revenue goals.

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with funders and other donors, including foundations and other funders. 

• Responsible for the development, writing, and submission of compelling grant proposals. Manages full lifecycle of grants, from proposals to reports, ensuring fundraising goals are met annually. 

• Able to skillfully navigate donor relationships and the philanthropic landscape with nuance, big picture, and keen understanding of the shifting trends and perspectives.

• In coordination with senior leadership, organize, prepare and attend donor meetings and convenings in support of strategic initiatives. 

• Develop strategic fundraising initiatives, including events and campaigns and identify new opportunities for resource mobilization. 

• Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive fundraising plans that align with the organization’s goals, programs, and initiatives. 

• Coordinate with leadership on restricted gifts, proposal budgets with restricted allocations, and financial reporting to donors.

• Partner with the CEO to ensure IFIP’s strategy is reflected across fundraising plans, funder engagement and partnerships.

Required Experience and Qualifications: 

• At least 8 years of experience in the development and resource mobilization sector. 

• At least 3 years of experience working in an international remote work environment with a multi-cultural team 

• Experience building partnerships and securing funding from bilateral and multilateral donor agencies is an asset 

• Track record of garnering new donors and substantial levels of funding per year

• Demonstrated experience in developing fundraising strategies and plans and excellent donor relations skills.

• Familiarity with donor database tools to track grants and donor relationships 

• Exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, results and solutions-oriented attitude are essential.

• Problem-solver, with high integrity and ability to communicate clear expectations and foster team collaboration.

Fundraiser

Do you have fundraising, sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, events or experience in another public-facing role?

We are looking for a passionate individual to build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, Hospital staff and the wider public.

Don't worry if you're new to this, the team will provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the knowledge you need. Your enthusiasm is the most important thing!

Position: Engagement Fundraiser

Location: Cambridge, Biomedical Campus

Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 per annum, pro-rata (depending on skills and experience)

Hours: 2 x part time roles as part of a job share (18.75 hours per week) or 1 x full-time role (37.5 hours per week)

Contract: Fixed Term 9-12 months

About the Role

This role is about more than raising funds. You will help people feel connected to a hospital that matters deeply to the community, showing how their support can make excellent care even better. Every conversation should be warm, honest and supporter-centred.

You will support the face-to-face fundraising activity by recruiting and welcoming new regular givers, encouraging consent for future communications, and ensuring an excellent supporter experience from the first interaction.

In this role, you will help grow long-term, sustainable income while keeping supporters at the heart of everything the charity does.

You will be confident, resilient and enthusiastic, able to work towards targets while acting with integrity at all times.

About You

We are looking for someone who has the passion and personality to build lasting relationships.

You will have:

• Experience in fundraising, sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, events or another public-facing role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to a wide range of people.
• A warm, friendly and positive approach, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Resilience, self-motivation and the confidence to approach members of the public.
• Comfortable working towards agreed targets while maintaining high standards of supporter care.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when capturing supporter information.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently in different locations.
• A good team player who is willing to share learning and support colleagues.
• Empathy and a passion and enthusiasm for the work of ACT.
• Commitment to acting with integrity and following fundraising compliance requirements.
• Willingness to work in person, on site and at approved fundraising venues, including some outdoor or event-based activity.
• A Driving Licence or access to a car/transportation
