Day Care Officer – Day Care Centres 

Age UK Camden Day Care Centres are looking to recruit a Day Care Officer to cover  20 hours a week in shifts (4 x 5 hours) across our two Day Care Centres. 

There is a need to be flexible to be able to cover all days Monday to Friday and days are subject to change based on the rota.

Our Centres provide a wide range of activities as well as being a specialist Day Care Centres caring for older people with complex needs. About the Role

The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker will undertake a range of activities in support of Reprieve’s work on cases of individuals on death row or at risk of the death penalty across the MENA region, including casework and investigations into individual cases and the broader death penalty landscape, support to Reprieve clients, and support to partner organisations and lawyers in the MENA region and beyond. The MENA Death Penalty Caseworker is an integral member of the MENA Team, and will work closely with the Media, Campaigns and Digital, and UK and US Policy teams, and the Directors and Deputy Directors. Background on MENA Death Penalty Work

Several countries in the MENA region consistently rank amongst the highest executing states in the world. Reprieve is one of few international organisations working on combatting the use of the death penalty in the region, working with partners primarily on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt, and monitoring the use of the death penalty across the wider region. The MENA team’s work is diverse and constantly evolving to shape, respond to, and anticipate changes in the domestic and regional death penalty landscape. Our strategy in any given jurisdiction is developed in collaboration with – and informed by – our partners and fellows. • Leading and co-ordinating delivery of the financial statements for the group including leading on the annual external audit

• Keep up-to-date with functional good practice and technical updates to all our systems, including within the third sector.

Family Futures is a not for profit, independent adoption agency and therapy centre in London, rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in 2022 for the fourth consecutive time. We also have our Wellbeing Hub which offers evidence-based, one-to-one therapy for children, young people, and families to improve their mental health, relationships, physical health, and engagement at school. New members of the team will be involved in contributing to the development and delivery of this service.

The role

You will be part of a small team that works collaboratively towards making a huge impact on the lives of the children and families we work with. We look for people who want to be part of a service that is innovative, creative and constantly striving to do better.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Coordinator to support our Assessment and Therapy Service. This vital role ensures smooth operations by managing scheduling, case tracking, document management, and communication with families and professionals. You will be a key point of contact for up to 30 active cases and work closely with internal teams and external agencies to facilitate high-quality service delivery.

You will be involved in the development of the service and your views, and insights are encouraged.

· Schedule and coordinate internal meetings and therapy consultations

· Provide administrative support for allocated assessment and therapy cases

· Maintain and update electronic records (Charms, SharePoint)

· Proofread, format, and distribute clinical reports and correspondence

· Liaise with families, therapists, Local Authorities, and partner agencies

· Assist with service costing, funding proposals, and contract tracking

· Assist in service evaluations, complaints management, and internal reporting

You will have regular informal guidance and formal supervision on a monthly basis. You will be part of the wider service of Family Futures and attend monthly Team Days to learn, share and develop the service and your practice.

SANE is a UK-wide mental health charity working to improve the quality of life of anyone affected by mental illness. About the role:

We are looking for a compassionate and committed Youth Support and Project Officer to join our SANEline Services team with a dedicated focus on supporting young people affected by mental health.
 

In this role you will;

- Deliver emotional support and to both adults and young people

- Shape and lead on a youth helpline and/or written service

- Liaise with external agencies and services

- Help build and shape youth focused services at SANE

You will bring;

- Experience of supporting young people with mental health needs ideally in complex situations

- Strong safeguarding knowledge

- A trauma informed, empathetic and resilient approach to support

- The ability to build trust and rapport with young people and families

Salary: £30,000-32,000 per annum, depending on experience
