We are currently in search of a passionate and committed male older peoples’ programme worker to join our team and lead a weekly a men’s group, as part of the thriving Over 50’s programme. The role involves designing, leading, and facilitating various activities and sessions aimed at improving physical and mental wellbeing, and improving community connection amongst older people. Set in a leafy heritage building, and ‘T&T2’, our second venue in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, we offer something for everyone. With a history of 137 years of supporting people of all ages in Rotherhithe and Bermondsey, we bring people together for mutual support, fun and friendship with a wide range of services and activities for older people and other adults, along with volunteering and children and families’ projects.
T&T has grown substantially over the last 5 years, and we are in an exciting time for the charity. Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings, managing teams and contract performance, underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach. JOB PURPOSE

NRPF Partnership
The NRPF partnership was set up in 2023 and is being developed by Citizens UK, Migration Exchange, and Praxis. We are working to build the necessary infrastructure for collaboration across a range of organisations, amplify their work, and build power to win change against the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) condition. Each partner contributes staff capacity and will work closely with the appointed person to ensure a positive, professional and supportive culture. The Partnership centres around:
1) Placing decision-making power and strategic vision in the hands of people doing the work
(frontline staff and people with lived experience), via a steering group and working groups.
2) Establishing a strategic pooled fund so that the steering group has sufficient budget to guide the collaboration, act, identify and seize political opportunities, and facilitate active participation of everyone involved.
3) Expanding the movement and building power, using incremental wins to build towards broader change towards the goal of ending NRPF.
The Person and the Role
100,000s people in our communities have put down roots in the UK but are denied access to the welfare safety net (No Recourse to Public Funds).
Citizens UK has worked with Migration Exchange and Praxis to raise over £2m to develop a 5 year partnership to enable the movement to end NRPF.
This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

Role Overview:
The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. The UK Legal team works to ensure that safe routes exist for all people seeking asylum. The team specialises in providing free legal advice and representation to unaccompanied children and families seeking asylum in the UK.
The Head of UK Legal Team will be a UK-based qualified solicitor or barrister or OISC Level 3 accredited caseworker or IAAS Supervising Senior caseworker with experience of working within the UK in a legal capacity, specifically in the area of asylum, immigration and refugee family reunion.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a high performing team of immigration lawyers, casework supervisors, and caseworkers. Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) are a national Christian charity working in partnership with local churches to give struggling children a hope and a future. We are looking for a well-organised, relational leader who is passionate about the way TLG enables local churches across the UK to get alongside struggling families in their communities. The Church Relationships Lead will work as part of the national Volunteer Programmes (VP) Team, reporting to the Early Intervention Network Support Manager and collaborating with staff responsible for programme training and development.
This is an exciting time to join our growing VP team to support an increasing number of churches who have chosen to partner with TLG through running the Early Intervention (EI) programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting EI Coordinators to effectively run their centres, as well as training new EI coach teams.
