• In collaboration with the business lead, manage the development and delivery of technology projects, ensuring that it meets RCR’s required standards and supporting successful implementation.
• Ensure plans, risks and finances associated with project delivery are tracked as required and made visible for governance and portfolio management purposes. 
• Use feedback and research to recommend improvements to RCR’s IT project management processes, implementing agreed changes.
• Support the Head of IT in the day-to-day management of invoices and of the IT budget, ensuring that spend is accounted for and managed according to RCR’s guidelines.
• Manage, administer and schedule regular board meetings.  Follow up actions agreed in the board meeting, in partnership with the Head of IT.

You’ll need to research and book trainers, venues, activities and resources, negotiate value for money, promote the calendar of events and manage bookings. The sessions will offer opportunities for Unpaid Carers to meet with peers, develop confidence, learn new skills, reduce social isolation, and improve their own wellbeing.

Applicants should have relevant personal or professional experience of working with Unpaid Carers and/or vulnerable adults or children in a social care, health, education or voluntary and community sector, as well as experience of planning and delivering a programme of group work.

You’ll need a practical understanding of barriers faced by Unpaid Carers, and an awareness of cultural differences and access to services. You should be an excellent communicator and able to motivate and empower others.

Citizens Advice Hammersmith and Fulham (CAHF) is a busy, dynamic award-winning service.  We deliver a variety of projects via face to face and digital media.  Since 2012 we have delivered a volunteer led community library service at Avonmore library. 

In April 2024 we embarked on running a second community focused library at Askew Road.  To support CAHF community library delivery at both libraries, we introduced the role of Community Library Coordinator.

Job Purpose 

This is a new role created to assist the small but growing team at SKT with our primary goal of engaging and mobilising residents in the neighbourhood we serve, numbering around 7500 people. Wandsworth WellFamily and Foodbank Service is an adult mental health service serving the Wandsworth community and based in foodbanks and GP surgeries across the London Borough of Wandsworth. We offer short term, holistic support focusing on the needs of the whole family whilst directly supporting the adult.

New funding has enabled us to create this post which will focus on increasing our capacity and inclusivity to provide emotional and practical support to the most vulnerable foodbank guests, who present with complex needs. This will involve providing a short-term intervention of up to two sessions, making safeguarding referrals where appropriate, liaising with GP’s and improving their access to services.

The other facet to the role will involve building new links with marginalised communities in Wandsworth, such as Refugee and Asylum Seekers, people with substance misuse, victims of domestic violence and the LGBTQ+ community. The goal is to reduce health inequalities including racism and all forms of discrimination.

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes.

A key part of the role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service.

The Stroke Association Support Coordinator will:

· Support new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

· Provide personalised information, advice and support.

· Support clients to make informed lifestyle changes which will help them to prevent further strokes

· Be accountable for volunteers, so experience of recruiting, training and managing volunteers would be an advantage.

About You

The post holder will have experience/background in:

· A caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities.

· Setting up and running support groups.

This role requires extensive travel across a large geographical locality to visit people at home and in community settings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can meet this requirement of the role.

For Age UK Westminster, the Befriending Service is one of its most important services tackling loneliness and isolation for older people in our community. This role would suit anyone who would like to play a key part in further developing a well-established service that makes a real difference to its community.

Excellent people skills, a strong initiative, and effective communications are required for this role, including an ability to build relationships with clients and volunteers, and undertake matching in an astute and sensitive manner. While supported by the Wellbeing & Connections Coordinator, the ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated and enjoy a certain amount of autonomy.

The role will demand a division of time between the office, and out in the community completing home assessments and matching visits. The position will be subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references.

We are looking for an experienced  experienced coordinator, to support the development of StreetDoctors external communications, advocacy and policy development. 

We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 9,000 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 300 healthcare volunteers and youth workers. We empower young people with the skills to become part of the solution to violence by developing the skills and confidence to save lives and increasing their understanding of the medical and psychological consequences of violence.

The key areas of focus include:

• To develop and maintain creative communication routes with partners, stakeholders and policy makers, to increase StreetDoctors value and level of engagement within the sector.

• To support the positioning of the StreetDoctors offer and engagement in policy making with government departments, devolved countries and regional decision makers (including PCC’s, Regional Mayors).

• To create, develop and maintain partnerships with a range of organisations to support the development of StreetDoctors research, policy and strategic direction.
