In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]

We are looking for an experienced Policy and Advocacy Manager to take forward our work with Central Government and other Non-Departmental Public Bodies.
You will play a critical role in shaping and deepening our relationships with these key partners. By working together, we can expand the support available to community-based charities and social enterprises, helping them become more resilient through enterprise.
What you will deliver (responsibilities)
- Policy development - You will lead on developing clear and actionable policy recommendations to Government and relevant NDPBS that expand the funding and support available to charities and social enterprises looking to build their resilience through enterprise.
- Public affairs - Advocate for policy and funding models that create long-term, meaningful support for charities and social enterprises. Represent Access at various policy forums, meetings, and events to influence public policy and engage directly with decision-makers such as MPs.
- Partnership working - Actively contribute to relevant campaigns, policy forums, and advocacy groups to strengthen Access’s influence on policies that impact the social economy and the policy and regulatory environment for social investment.
- Communications - Write clear, engaging, and persuasive policy briefs, reports, and position papers to communicate Access's policy priorities to government and other stakeholders. Contribute to Access's wider communications strategy by developing blogs, reports, press releases, and speeches to amplify the organisation’s role in shaping public policy.
- Evidence and storytelling - Use data, sector insights, and compelling case studies to create narratives that not only advocate for policy change but also strengthen Access's position as a thought leader.

It takes on average, almost nine years to receive a diagnosis in the UK, leaving many living in pain and without answers.

The Role
As Head of Programmes and Impact, you will:

Oversee programme delivery – ensuring our current initiatives, from early years to secondary transition, run smoothly and achieve the best outcomes.

Embed impact and evaluation – creating a clear Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) framework that captures both data and lived experience.

Demonstrate impact – producing reports that inspire funders, inform strategy, and showcase the difference we are making.

Collaborate with stakeholders – from schools and community groups to funders and local authorities, ensuring our work is evidence-based and community-led.

Support fundraising – providing compelling impact evidence to strengthen bids and future funding opportunities.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and work closely with the Partnership Lead and the wider Maritime Academy Trust central team, as well as spending time in our 13 schools to see our programmes in action.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Single Homeless Project (SHP) in a brand new Caseworker role at the forefront of an innovative Westminster pilot service. The HMO scheme is designed to support under 35s who have experienced rough sleeping and are ready to take the next step towards independence. As a Caseworker, you will play a key part in shaping this exciting new service, working directly with clients to secure safe accommodation, build stability and open up new opportunities for the future. From assessing suitability for the HMO service and arranging property viewings, to supporting sign-ups with landlords, you will be central to each client’s journey into their new home.

You will guide clients through maximising their income via Housing Benefit and Universal Credit, help them register with GPs and health services, and create pathways into college and employment.
