The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.
Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. You will build and leverage a network of advocates to help spread the word, accelerating take-up and growing the RSCM’s reach in churches and schools.
The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. Some of the work will be in support of RSCM Enterprises, RSCM’s wholly owned trading subsidiary.
The sales plan will be delivered with some assistance of external contractors (e.g. social media), and with input from individuals across the organisation.
The post holder is responsible for selling to individuals, corporate customers (such as school federations) and organisations (e.g. choral societies) including through appropriate organisational networks. The holder will play an active part in suggesting, agreeing and delivering agreed KPIs and sales targets, monitoring and adjusting activities as necessary to improve results. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the long-term financial viability of the charity and whilst we have a comprehensive product offer, we welcome innovation. The post holder will be expected to make suggestions and recommendations for NPD (new product development) and changes to our strategy that could make the products more attractive to parallel markets.

This is a new role for the Circuit, replacing a volunteer. In designing the position, the Circuit has aimed for maximum flexibility to secure the best candidate for the role. Initially, the person will need physically to attend some meetings to familiarise themselves with the Circuit's operations and ensure a smooth hand-over. As with all Methodist circuits, these churches function autonomously yet collaborate closely in their ministry and mission efforts. The Circuit oversees joint resources, including staff and property. As a part of the Methodist Church, its mission is “to respond to the gospel of God’s love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission”. Key Responsibilities

About CleanupUK
We’re a small charity that brings communities together to create cleaner, connected and safer urban and rural neighbourhoods by tackling the litter problems where they live. Litter-picking brings people closer together, enables neighbours to meet one another other and helps create a greater sense of pride and community in local areas.
Historically, we have delivered litter-picking focussed community engagement projects in London and Birmingham. Our current focus is developing partnerships with community organisations across England to expand our reach and increase impact.
Main duties of the role

To provide a pro-active, high-quality administration and support service to the Operational Team, Chief Executive and the Corporate Partnerships team.
Operational Team: Deals with logistics, processes and day to day functions of our work on the ground with community partners and volunteers.

To attend weekly team meetings

To assist in research into new areas of operation for the charity.

To oversee orders of equipment and printed resources to our partners with various suppliers around the country.

To maintain meticulous records regarding our growing national Cleanup Hub network of community partners.

To collate statistics and create regular reports of programme activity, using our website and new database.

To provide help and advice to enquiries that come through our information email inbox. This could include; helping people access their profiles on our website or advising them as to how to get involved in community litter picking activity.

To use Mail Chimp to send mailers to our partners and followers.

Database Management, to take a pro-active role in our upcoming database development project, considering how best to structure, store and export data. Following the launch of the database lead on database development and maintenance, such as an annual data cleanse.

To assist with setting up, maintaining and updating database information, Community Cleanup Hub registrations, profiles and filing systems, ensuring that data handling complies with GDPR requirements.

To assist with staff recruitment and induction processes.
Chief Executive: leads our strategic direction / reports to the Trustees

To organise board meetings; booking diary dates, venues, catering and taking minutes.

To attend and take detailed minutes at board meetings and any other meetings required.

Main Role & Responsibilities
The post holder will be an active member of our programmes team and will work across our portfolio of programmes.
They will be responsible for regional stakeholder engagement, developing relationships and promoting Ygam training across the UK. They will recruit suitable delegates to workshops, working closely with a range of organisations and families.
They will provide training both face to face and online and will be responsible for the delivery of our assured workshops and promoting the work of Ygam at conferences and events.
They will be able to demonstrate the impact of this work by working with organisations to collate case studies and evidence to support the programmes achievements.

We are looking for a talented Senior Learning and Development Officer to join our Research in Practice Adults Social Care team. Our ideal candidate will have experience of leading on the design, development, commissioning and quality assurance of learning and development materials to support workforce development and Continued Professional Development. We are seeking candidates with a good understanding of adult social care, and/or related sectors.
Up to date knowledge of learning requirements for adult social work and occupational therapy and understanding of current learning theory and methods for CPD would both be advantageous. With a relevant degree and work experience, you will be an organised, positive and IT-literate professional.
You will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and used to collaborative working. Above all, you will share our passion for helping others to use evidence to improve the lives of adults and their families. Research in Practice works with organisations across the children and adults social care, health and criminal justice sectors, supporting them to develop an evidence-informed approach to their work.
