As Policy & Insights Manager, you will ensure the College has impact in influencing the future design and delivery of the child health workforce, by leading on a set of priority projects to promote the sustainability and protection of the child health workforce for future generations.
Working within the Workforce & Careers team, the Policy & Insights Manager will be key in supporting colleagues across multiple teams to ensure the College provides expert, evidence-based policy outputs that influences service planning, and promotes the needs of children and the workforce designed to care for them.
Keeping up-to-date with, including horizon scanning developments in, child health policy and NHS service planning, you will maintain an overview of emerging policy themes at national level and will develop a comprehensive engagement plan to ensure members, health service planners, providers and key decision makers in health across the UK are engaged in the advocacy of the child health workforce.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent relevant experience in a similar line of work in health policy, NHS workforce planning or national advocacy, you will have evidence of understanding the critical role of data and service standards within healthcare design, delivery and workforce planning across the UK.
With excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, you will have demonstrable experience of leading and influencing policy and/or advocacy evidenced by recent outputs relating to child health and/or health services.

Join Single Homeless Project (SHP) as a Senior Outreach Worker and become a driving force in our dynamic response to homelessness. This is more than just a job – it’s a chance to play a key leadership role within a forward-thinking outreach service that blends assertive street engagement with holistic, trauma-informed support. Working as part of a diverse and passionate team in Redbridge, you’ll be right at the centre of a service that partners closely with local authorities, health professionals, housing specialists, and immigration and substance use services to help individuals make meaningful, lasting moves away from life on the streets.
In this role, you’ll lead outreach shifts across the borough, support a dedicated team of Outreach Workers, and take on a focused caseload of people facing some of the most complex challenges. You’ll collaborate closely with Navigators who provide longer-term case management, ensuring each person’s journey off the street is consistent, compassionate and coordinated.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised Project Coordinator to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of Magic Me’s impactful intergenerational arts projects. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth logistical and administrative operation of our projects, contributing to high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities
As Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
- Project and administrative support:
- Assisting the Project Manager with coordinating project logistics, including scheduling, booking spaces, and organising refreshments.
- Updating project budgets and submitting invoices to the Bookkeeper.
- Supporting the Project Manager in planning and delivering performances, exhibitions, and events.
- Managing the materials inventory and sourcing environmentally friendly resources for workshops.
- Project promotion and participant engagement:
- Helping to manage communication with participants and partners.
- Assisting with volunteer coordination.
- Supporting participant recruitment efforts for projects.
- Helping to raise Magic Me’s profile by sharing images and stories for social media content.
- Monitoring, evaluation and reporting:
- Assisting the Project Manager with data collection for project feedback and ensuring continuous learning.
- Supporting the programme and development teams with preparing reports for funders and internal use.
- Assisting with reporting by keeping accurate records of participant engagement and feedback.
- Administration and team collaboration:
- Undertaking general administration tasks related to project activities.
- Supporting the wider Magic Me team through the management of Petty Cash (training for Xero will be provided).
- Participating in training and development opportunities to deepen knowledge and prepare for a future career pathway within Magic Me.

Our Offer & Benefits
- Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum, pro rata.
- Holiday: 25 days and bank holidays (pro-rata) + days between Christmas & New Year. Additionally, we are trialling an additional week of leave during August 2024 and 2025, which may be offered in 2026 if successful.

We manage Battersea’s website, and lead its digital products, campaigns and advertising - all to increase awareness of Battersea’s work and engage people with the need to support our dogs and cats.
