Job Purpose

The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces. 

Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery. 

Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

• Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

• Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

• Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

• Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants. 

• Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

• Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

• Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested. 

• Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

• Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved. 

• Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

• Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.

Person specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent track record of customer service.

• Proven ability to work well within a team.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Partnering with grantmaking trusts, foundations and statutory funders is fundamental in helping Parkinson’s UK to deliver the impact we want to see for people affected by Parkinson's. As a Senior Trusts and Statutory Officer, you will be a part of our dynamic and high performing Major Gifts and Special Events team. About the role

This role is part of the trusts and statutory team of eight. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a portfolio of five and six figure trust and statutory funders to help significantly grow the income over the coming years. You will coordinate trusts and statutory fundraising activity, identify compelling project propositions, and write high quality proposals and reports in collaboration with colleagues across the charity.

• Cultivate strong working relationships with a portfolio of trusts and statutory funders, increasing their involvement and engagement with the charity’s work.

• Create compelling proposals and reports for high and mid-value funders, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term value of your portfolio.

• Contribute to the team’s overall target and wider major gifts strategy of delivering first class supporter relationships. 

What you'll bring

• Proven experience of leading successful five figure fundraising from major trusts and foundations.

• Demonstrable expertise in the requirements of trusts fundraising, e.g. bid-writing, budgeting, activity and outcomes reporting. 

• Ability to work effectively with external people to support new projects through proposals, meetings, site visits.

The Senior Officer – Network, Partnerships and Programmes plays a critical role as the initial contact point for CSC’s global network of 200+ NGOs and delivery lead for our practice-based partnership programmes and Street Work training, working closely with a small but dynamic team in pursuit of CSC’s vision and goals.

The postholder will contribute towards CSC’s strategic goal to transform street-connected children's experience of the street, now, so that they are safer, with better access to services and a sense of belonging in their communities, by:

• Working with network partners to develop, evidence and model innovative & integrated rights-based approaches to supporting street-connected children and securing their rights
• Promoting and supporting skilled street work as the first, critical step in a rights-based approach to supporting street-connected children

Role Summary

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Programme delivery

Reporting into the Senior Finance Officer, this role is jointly responsible for the delivery of a consistent and high-quality purchase ledger function across the Group. The purchase ledger team is integral to ensuring that the Group commitments are accurate and complete each month; and payments are made on a consistent basis in keeping with suppliers’ credit terms and internal policy on expenses.

The key responsibilities of this Purchase Ledger Officer include:

• Record staff expenses and property invoices (e.g., rent, utilities, repairs) promptly across all companies.
• Upload invoices promptly after processing for timely authorisation.

• Verify payment-due invoices against the aged creditors report.

About the role

In this role you’ll contribute to the operational delivery of innovative health partnerships for BHF. These partnerships help us to reach, on a mass scale, people at risk or living with heart and circulatory diseases; working with large corporate organisations, other charities, and community groups to provide information, support and skills in innovative ways to improve health awareness, support self-management and reduce health inequalities.

As part of the Health Partnerships team, you’ll support several health partners, delivering agreed activity and maximising the opportunity to reach their workforce and customers with our free health initiatives.

You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across BHF particularly in our Medical and Marketing, Fundraising and Engagement teams, as well as external partners to meet agreed aims and objectives. Salary: £72,800 (plus London weighting where appropriate)

Location: Hybrid, with 2-3 days a week in our London office, or in another L'Arche location. (If your base is outside London, you can expect to spend 2-3 days a month in the London office). The role includes regular travel to L'Arche Communities UK-wide, and to national meetings.

Learning, development, and formation

• Oversee co-production and roll-out of a new Values, Skills and Behaviours Framework.
• Lead a new initiative on line management skills and culture.
• Oversee the national Learning and Development team in providing central programmes for assistant and leader induction and leadership development.
• Support Communities to identify and develop future leaders.
• Oversee development and implementation of an overall strategy for learning, development, and formation.

HR structures, strategy, and services

• Ensure L'Arche has the skills, policies, systems, and information for consistently good and compliant HR services and line management.
• Review and lead people functions across L'Arche, to ensure clear, coherent, and cost-effective HR services.
• Manage the HR team, Learning and Development team, and national HR and L&D budgets.
• Oversee the accuracy and relevance of admin and data systems.
• Oversee HR employee relations and whistleblowing across l'Arche.

Leadership

• Champion the mission of L'Arche and model our values.
• Contribute expertise on HR, inclusion, employment law and learning and development to wider discussions.
• Maximise the voice, power, and engagement of employees and of people with learning disabilities.

We are a small, highly experienced team who share a passion to support the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people across Surrey.  This is a key new role in the Major Relationships unit to support the CEO and Major Relationships Lead in major donor fundraising, an area which has grown in recent years.  This locally based post will enhance the prospect pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of major donor prospects, which will help towards meeting the objectives and financial targets for major donor fundraising. The role will cover three main areas of responsibility: Research, Events (organisation/co-ordination) and Admin. This position requires discretion, confidentiality and administrative judgment.

The Major Relationships unit works alongside Grants, Corporates & Community as well as Individual Giving, as part of the wider Engagement (fundraising/marketing) team at Eikon. 

Responsibilities   

1. Research   

• Identify and prioritise potential major donor prospects in Surrey and beyond, who would be capable of making significant contributions and seem likely to have the propensity to donate i.e. to become major donors. 

• Produce high quality, tailored and insightful research on major donors.  

• Look at current supporters (all different types/levels) with good contacts/connections/networks and conduct research in order to suggest ways to reach new high net worth individuals across Surrey. 

2. Event organisation/co-ordination 

• Organise/coordinate internal and externally run events such as dinners, drinks receptions, sporting events. 

• Attend key events - approx. 5 each year and sometimes evenings/weekends – welcoming guests and ensuring a positive experience. 

• Join the CEO and/or the Major Relationships Lead at specific meetings with MDs/MDPs, occasionally evenings/weekends. 

 3. Admin 

• Day-to-day support for MDs, MDPs and key influencers (KIs) which could include:  

• General stewardship including thanking and processing information on Sharepoint and Donorfy (Eikon’s database). 

• Regular communication including calls, meetings and sharing reports, presentations and other updates. 

• Database admin, including checking opportunity pipelines and reporting requirements. 

• Supporting individuals or small groups who are fundraising for us e.g. how to set up and promote a JustGiving page. 

4. Marketing, Communications and relationships  

• Support and liaise with the Marketing and Communications team to deliver relevant and effective content and materials, as well as maximising social media opportunities. 

• Co-ordinate communications (including distribution) to all MDs/MDPs/KIs eg CEO Update plus Infographic. 

• Support the CEO and Major Relationships Lead to further develop good relationships with Eikon’s MDs/MDPs/KIs. 

5. Strategy  

• Contribute to Engagement Team strategies, annual plans and budgets.  

6. Staff management  

• Take part in regular supervision and team meetings.  

• No line management requirement  

7. Quality and standards  

• Ensure all staff and volunteers understand and deliver within Eikon’s safeguarding policies and practices when taking part in fundraising activities.  

• Ensure all activities follow the relevant Fundraising Codes of Practice and Eikon’s Ethical Fundraising Policy.  

• Carry out risk assessments for all MD/MDP/KI events.  

• Ensure consent procedures are followed. 

• Carry out required due diligence on new MD opportunities and ensure that there is no obvious conflict with the values or ethical policy of the charity.  

8. Finance and resources.  

• Operate within organisational approved budgets, policies and procedures.   

9. Other responsibilities  

• This role requires flexible working outside of normal hours as agreed.  

• Keep abreast of sector trends and opportunities.

About Black Thrive 

Black Thrive Global (BTG) evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth (BTL) Partnership, which was established in 2016. We exist to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people so that the thriving of Black communities is the norm. 

Our guiding principle is that Black communities should be at the forefront of reimagining, redefining, and co-creating a society where systemic racism and other oppressive systems have been dismantled so that they have fulfilling lives. We have two priorities – building a Black Thrive Research Institute and embedding race equity in systems change. 

We have grown rapidly since 2021 and so still have a start-up culture and often deal with competing priorities at a fast pace. 

The aim of Black Queer & Thriving is to explore the health and wellbeing needs of Black LGBTQ+ people in Lambeth and Southwark, develop community research that details these needs with the Working Group and use the outcome to influence local policy and infrastructure. 

The purpose of this role is to support the Black Queer & Thriving workstream with the main priorities being: 

• Providing administrative support to the development of the Black LGBTQ+ Working Group, including organising meetings and minute taking; 

• Supporting relationship management with Lambeth and Southwark’s Black LGBTQ+ community; and 

• Leading on a community research project exploring the health and wellbeing experiences of Black LGBTQ+ people in Lambeth and Southwark.

The list below is not an exhaustive list of duties, due to the dynamic nature of the work occurring at Black Thrive we are looking for someone who is willing to adapt to our responsive workstreams, and who can be agile in the performance of different tasks.

Duties and responsibilities 

1. Support the project’s engagement and involvement with Lambeth and Southwark’s Black LGBTQ+ communities, particularly young people. 

2. Lead on designing and maintaining databases to support the network mapping of stakeholders and ensure relationship management of key stakeholders. 

3. Leading on a community research project with the Working Group and participate in and support other research, evaluation and learning activities. 

4. Keep abreast of various projects, initiatives and coalitions locally, regionally and nationally, as well as emerging legislation policy and practice related to the workstream. 

5. Support the Programme & Partnership Manager with project management and reporting arrangements relating to the achievement of objectives and milestones. 

6. Organise meeting and events and manage the associated administration such as room bookings, preparing and distribution of agendas, minute taking and action tracking. 

7. Support the development of the Black LGBTQ+ Working Group, including recruitment, organising meetings and minutes. 

8. Produce and deliver presentations, reports and other materials relevant to the role. 

9. Lead on producing content for internal and external blog posts and digital content across our communication channels to ensure effective communication of Black Thrive’s employment work to relevant audiences. 

10.  Put in place appropriate project and financial management arrangements to ensure the achievement of objectives and milestones relating to the Communities workstream.

11.  Ensure compliance with legislation and policies relevant to the job role, including equality, safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and financial probity.

12.  Spend up to 10% of time supporting corporate business, such as strategy and administration.

We are looking for an International Programme Manager to oversee Students’ Union UCL’s cultural celebrations programme, including expanding and developing our annual flagship International Festival. The Start Funds MEAL Officer will work with colleagues within both SCUK and Start Network. Previously (until May 2019) Start Network and Start Funds and Programmes were hosted by Save the Children UK (SCUK) since its creation in 2012. The position sits within Save the Children UK as a Grant Custodian on behalf of the Start Network supported by a Grant Custodian Agreement (GCA) which describes the roles and commitments of each entity.

About the role
The Start Network funds have a robust monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) portfolio to strengthen evidence-based learning, performance and overall accountability towards the people affected by or at-risk of crises, donors, members, and partners.

Reporting to the Crisis Financing MEAL Lead, the Start Funds MEAL Officer will play an important role to support the ongoing MEAL activities for the Start Funds to enhance its performance, learning, and accountability.

Performance

• Contribute towards the identification and implementation of diverse and innovative approaches to MEAL.
• Coordinate with the Communications and Membership Engagement teams to develop and widely disseminate learning outputs produced by the MEAL team.

Accountability

• Deliver and enhance Start Funds' quality, accountability and monitoring practices to members, partners and affected populations by conducting Learning Exchanges, reviewing project report forms and carrying out project assessments
• Manage Learning Grant processes and outputs in coordination with MEAL Advisor

Knowledge

• Contribute towards continuous improvement of technical quality, processes and outputs of Start Funds MEAL including, but not limited to, the development of methodological guidelines, MEAL tools and approaches.
• Produce and support various thematic research, reviews, studies and learning products according to the MEAL work plan.
• Support capacity building activities for the Start Funds Programme team and the wider and membership for relevant themes such as data quality, evidence-based programming etc.
• Support the MEAL Advisor in business development activities including the scaling-up of the Start Funds.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Previous experience delivering MEAL for humanitarian or development programmes
• Excellent data analysis skills
• Proven experience of embracing new approaches, technology and ways of working
• Experience of using qualitative and quantitative analysis software
• Experience of using Salesforce or other customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present data and evidence in a user-friendly form and to stakeholders at different levels
• Demonstrable experience of strong teamwork capabilities and collaboration
• Undergraduate degree, ideally in social science, research methods, humanitarian response or related fields
• Language skills - working proficiency in Spanish
