This welfare charity is expanding their regionally based fundraising team, this is an exciting time of investment for the organisation. They are recruiting for a new Regional Fundraiser to cover the South of England. As part of this role, you will work with other Regional Fundraisers, developing relationships with local community groups, businesses and volunteer groups to grow income in each region.

This role will offer you the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of donors, deliver exceptional supporter stewardship to boost retention in the local area, and build long-lasting and valuable connections with supporters across the region.  

To be successful as the Regional Fundraiser, you will need:

• Proven experience as a regional fundraiser with strong knowledge of community income streams
• Strong experience in developing and delivering on targets
• Confidence working with a range of other team members, experience in collaborating, and working closely to reach and exceed fundraising targets.

Since 2001, The Mulberry Centre has been providing essential cancer information and support services to over 18,000 people. With our income now exceeding £750,000 and growing fast, we’re set to expand even further and we need someone like you to help secure the vital funding that will enable this growth.

Working closely with the Head of Fundraising and Engagement, you will play a key role in implementing fundraising plans that focus on researching, building relationships, and providing exceptional stewardship to corporate partners and major donors. This position will actively contribute to the development of broader fundraising strategies to support the organisation's growth.  In addition, the role is responsible for the creation and growth of a legacy giving programme. This will involve working with solicitors, accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to identify potential legators. You will engage in research, build relationships, and host targeted events to cultivate support for legacy giving. Furthermore, you will collaborate with the Head of Fundraising and Engagement and the Marketing and Communications Lead to develop strategies for marketing legacies and expanding this critical area of support.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled multi-tasker with strong project management and interpersonal abilities, capable of meeting tight deadlines and managing important partnerships effectively.

Arne is not only a brilliant Dorset bird watching spot, it’s also one of the few remaining places where all six of the UK’s native reptiles can be found. Situated on Poole Harbour and within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this Dorset nature reserve is a thriving visitor haven attracting people of all walks of life; landscapes don’t get much more breathtaking than Arne. It’s a rich patchwork of habitats, home to a huge array of wildlife. Explore wide-open heathlands where reptiles roam, as well as ancient oak woodland humming with bird song, farm fields where Sika Deer stags rut and wetlands where Spoonbills wade. Still want more? How about discovering wading birds among the mudflats, watching Dartford Warblers darting about in the scrub, and spotting seals from the shoreline.

We carefully manage Arne's unique mix of habitats to create the ideal conditions for wildlife to thrive. As a threatened habitat in the UK, our lowland heath is of particular importance and many rare birds including Dartford Warblers, Woodlarks and Nightjars call it home. But it’s not just birds - Smooth Snakes, Silver-studded Blue Butterflies, Ladybird Spiders and Yellow Centaury (a rare heathland plant) can also be found at Arne.

•  proven experience in community fundraising
• excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• confidence to work across multiple projects, adapting to varied situations
